Hello everyone!

Just want to add my best wishes and a big thank you to HKMom for supporting the international fan community for SIK.  We would be literally "in the dark" without HKMom, Kona, celia, and others who have channeled all the available SIK news our way.

Hi, dear SIKers!
Dear Kona, Metal, HWJ, Charmy, Ardent, Asareh, Ilenaz, SIKnamja and all, thank you for your kind words about fan club. We still need to do many things to call ourselves a real fan-club, but we'll do them step by step.
Dear Cristurbat, thank you for beautiful clips!
A Nigerian boy asked me - via facebook - about some links for SIK's movies (with E-subs, of course). Searching for him, I sadly saw there are very many of his movies deleted due to copyrights. Did you noticed? Also in Romania there are a lot of Korean dramas deleted or restricted by peteava.ro, the main site where everybody was watching Kdramas.  Now we can see only Jumong, Lobbyist, FF and AMCG, it's a tragedy!  :((  Is there the same situation in your countries? Can you give me some verified links? Thank you a lot!
Speaking about FF, here is one of my favorite pictures:

Love you all, SIKers!

Hello SIKers, "2012 Road for Hope" (ENGLISH SUB) has been showing on KBS World on Sundays.
There are 4 episodes so check your local schedule for Song Il-Kook's program.

The KBS World schedule in North America, where I live, is different than Asia.
I just learned about this last week and was able to record last Sunday's program with BoA.

I'll be looking for Song Il-Kook's program on the coming Sundays.  Wish us luck! [-O<

Korean star reminds Myanmar's Suu Kyi of her father

Myanmar democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi had a special dinner Thursday night with a host of South Korean soap opera stars, one of whom was invited because of his resemblance to her assassinated father.

Aung San Suu Kyi receives flowers from Myanmarese children during a meeting with Myanmar people living in South Korea, in Seoul, on February 1, 2013. Suu Kyi arrived in South Korea on January 28 for a four-day visit to meet politicians and soap-opera stars as well as to collect a human rights award.

Taking some time out of a hectic four-day visit schedule, the Nobel Peace Prize winner dined with four well-known faces of the "Hallyu", or Korean Wave, of TV dramas that have captivated audiences across Asia -- including Myanmar.

One special invitee was Ahn Jae-Wook, a popular singer and actor who starred in the 1997 TV drama "Star in My Heart" which was a big hit in Suu Kyi's homeland.

"She told me 'you look just like my father. He was very handsome'," Ahn told the Yonhap News Agency after the event.

"She said she had an opportunity to see my drama and was surprised to find that my smile resembled her father very much," Ahn said.

Suu Kyi's father, Myanmar liberation hero General Aung San, was assassinated along with eight other independence leaders on July 19, 1947.

Also at Thursday's dinner were Lee Young-Ae, Song Il-Kook and Kim Hyo-Jin -- all well known for their roles in dramas that South Korea has successfully exported to China, Japan, Southeast Asia and beyond.

During her visit, which began Monday, the democracy leader met with outgoing President Lee Myung-Bak and his successor Park Geun-Hye, and was guest of honour at the opening of the Special Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

She was scheduled to deliver a speech Friday at Seoul National University and accept an honorary doctorate.

Korean TV stars on Thursday gathered for a dinner welcoming Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi at the Westin Chosun Hotel in downtown Seoul.

Actors Ahn Jae-wook and Song Il-Kook as well as actresses Lee Young-ae, Chae Jung-an and Kim Hyo-jin, were among the guests who were invited by the Nobel Peace Prize winner, who is visiting Korea for the 10th Special Olympics World Winter Games held in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province.

Ahn was the first to arrive, followed by Lee attired in a gray dress suit. Song, who was the goodwill ambassador for the Korean Film Festival held in Myanmar in 2010, said, “To be invited is an honor.”

According to the Korea Foundation, which organized the event, the dinner was organized upon the request of the democracy activist. “Korean TV drama is in vogue there,” a KF spokesman said.

At the dinner, which was held behind closed doors, Aung San, dressed in traditional Myanmar costume, reportedly said that when she first saw Ahn on TV, she noticed that he looked like one of her acquaintances.

“It was a casual dinner, apart from Aung San’s official schedule,” said the KF spokesman. “We didn’t put too much meaning into it. People were laid back and enjoyed small talk,” he added.

Thank you so much, KONA and POHHOOI, for the latest pictures and news about SIK.  It seems that he has gain weight and looks more chubby than his Bday Fan Meeting pictures.  He was so cute, boyish and yummy, then.  Now, he is so much a family man.  Does the wifey feed him a lot?

I totally agree with Ardent, I think he could afford to lose some of that baby fat. Not like many who liked him AMCG and his drastic weight lost, I think his best weight was EOTS. Slim and stunning and not slim and sickly. Despite all that, thanks Kona for sharing the photos and latest news. And one more thing, he is still my favorite Namja! Once love, Forever love
