Guest danasibro
The power of love! Why does the sight of you SIK fill me with pleasure,Like a spotlight that shines on a glorious treasure? It can be, it must be the power of love that I feel,That ties me in bonds that seem strong as steel. How could anyone anytime anywhere ever know?Could feelings be kept, blossom, focus and grow,Sweet touching dreams that I dreamt in my youth Until now when they turned up on you as a truth? When I think of you, dear sweet SIK you fill my mind; And no more thinking room on this subject I can find.It is sad I’ve never had such exiting thoughts before;I’m lost in you, charming actor, the love dream I adore! You SIK are one in a million, my most special one;Your radiant smile is magic... as bright as the sun; And that is why, my darling, whatever else I do,No matter what, sure ,I’ll just keep on loving you! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBAyMYwhS9EOnce in love, forever in love

KonaBeans
xiaomeihuili said: Hello SIKers!A small article on "Road for Hope" in Korean magazine "Woman sense", August issue.from : http://www.mlounge.co.kr/woman/starstory_read.html?seq=4951&article_type=N&svc=3translation***********************************************************************************************************Song Il Kook visited Burkina Faso, presents a dream. Burkina Faso, experiencing unending coup d’etats and civil conflicts, can not get free of poverty and famine. It is one of the five most poorest countries. Most of Burkina Faso people work on agriculture. But not raining for several years, their land becomes barren more and more. Arrived at Burkina Faso, Song Il Kook witnessed a shocking scene. Having nothing to eat, people pick up and eat dungs of goat. In front of hunger, the least sense of taste and the hygienic concept like bacteria or foreign substances etc. are extinguished. In the state of malnutrition and immune-compromised, eating dungs of animals, children are subject to the danger to diseases. Watching children who has deformity of protrude from the face or children who lost their fingers or toes, Song Il Kook lost his words. These children’s wishes are neither going to the hospital nor getting antibiotics for a short time pain relief. Only eat heartily just once. Maybe because of his personality, Song Il Kook didn’t say kind words to the children, but he had contact with children by his warm hands and his sympathy. Then he presented “Hope Center” to foster children’s dreams and hand out foods to fill their stomachs.
ardently
DANA, welcome back. I read all your poems and I can say, you are fantastic. While hybernating, you were able to put all your feelings and thoughts in rhymes. I'm pretty sure you're feeling okay now.I'm still hooked with EOTS and am now in epi 27. I came pass the parts where Yeum Moon and Jung Hwa lived as husband and wife in the rebel camp. What intrigues me until now is if Yeum Moon ever touched Jung Hwa? He said "if all I can have is an empty shell of your body, still I'll never let you go". Did he really have her body? They slept in one roof with one bed. JH stayed in YM's tent all the while serving him. Master Yi even advised YM to find a house outside the camp where he and JH could live safely. Actually, I always thought that JH fell for YM already during their stay in the camp. She always looked worried everytime YM went to the war zone, and happy when he returned safely. Another question: When JH was on her way alone going to Yusan Harbor where a ship and Master Yi was waiting, why did she turn back? Was she worried that JB might find and kill YM, who was wounded or did she want to meet JB and return to his arms?In this drama, it was obvious that the scriptwriters made an attempt to create a mutual feelings between YM and JH, just so to satisfy the viewers. But they couldn't change history, totally. At least, they were able to give these two characters more touching and interesting moments than JH with JB. Of course, with the realistic and passionate performance of our man. His eyes and voice made it all happen. It's one reason SIK and So Ae got the Best Couple Award. It is as beautiful as All In.Every day I watch an episode of SIK's series .As I said now review Lobbyist (ep 13). During breaks I watched Swallow the Son and Dae Mul. Dae Mul shows that politicians are the same everywhere. It's a good show, I enjoyed it.I wish you well. I like this photo.....
KonaBeans
24-Aug-2012Rough Google translation.<Song IL-Kook> Japan-entry remarks rippled Amid the conflicts in Korea and Japan over Dokdo, on August 24, the Japanese vice-foreign minister Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi said Song will not be allowed to return to Japan because he participated in a swim from the Korean mainland to Dokdo, Aug 15. The comments came in an interview with Fuji TV. Song swam along with 40 students in a relay to the disputed islets.Certain countries over the behavior of private actors, the undersecretary of the country's ministries such retaliatory remarks is very unusual. Mr. Song Il Kook responded through his Twitter, "I have nothing to say but calling the name of my three sons Tae-Han, Min-Kook, Man-Se! (Long Live the Republic of Korea!)", said a resolute response is overwhelming. Netizens are sending messages cheering on Song's remark. My feeling about this: It's a very immature action to retaliate over the island that has been long under controlled of South Korea.I'm not surprised of SIK's reaction. I admire SIK's patriotism and give him the full support. Fighting, Mr. Song!
celiap
I can only feel sad about this fuss around Song Il-Kook. Everything is getting out of proportion. SIK's answer was very dignified. I just hope he will keep his calm and not let himself dragged into public political polemics.
gabisikfan
Hi, dear SIKers of the world!Don't be sad, I just saw Japan will have elections soon, that's why all Japanese politicians are full of wounded pride regarding Dokdo. Patience & tobacco, is a Romanian old saying. Cheer up! If this vice-minister don't want for SIK to be in Japan, next minister will want. (joking)I like this one:Love you all!Welcome back, Dana dear! Welcome back!
ardently
I don't want to comment further on this Japanese sanction against SIK. There are a lot of fans from Japan who admire not only our man but also other South Korean celebrities. I just hope they would not change. Moreover, may this not affect other Kpop artists who perform in Japan.
metaltiger
Ardent, kona, Gabis, charmy, celia: all your comments about Dokdo show a wisdom and maturity that will outlast this latest controversy. We have seen in the past that SIK chooses the right path for himself, very often not the most popular or easiest (remember his lawsuit with the reporter?) Along with you, I will continue to support and stand by him. However, I need to state that I find it hypocritical for the Japanese government official to publicly rebuke SIK after he made a generous donation to their tsunami relief fund. Many other Korean stars gave as well. Last but not least to dana: Your poetry is awesome. To express your feelings in print, for the world to read, in an honest and poignant manner, reveals your inner beauty and strength. I feel honored and grateful that you care for us here. In return, I hope our love to you will help you in difficult times.
gabisikfan
Hi, dear Sikers!I'm interested if KBS2 (Crime Squad) and MBC (AMCG) will support SIK. Their financial interests in Japan are probably affected, but they are also Korean: I wonder if money will be heavier than patriotism? Well, SIK always chose the right way - hard way, and I'm PROUD of him. Don't give up, Song Il Kook - ssi!! Love you all, SIKers!
alex1999
Dear all SIKers, Missing you all. Sorry for not dropping by earlier. I have been very busy lately. Thank you for all the news about him. Time will cure everything, I think he will be able to enter Japan some day soon. Dana, I really admire your poem. it really expresses our feeling about him. Thank you for your great work. I can't do anything like that. Gabi, you've made me want to re-watch Jumong!! I've just finished EoTS last night and now I'm thinking of continuing Crime Squad, re-watching Jumong or starting Lobbyist. I just love him in Sageuk though. After the end of EoTS, I don't hate Jang Bogo much but I really hate Jung Hwa who is too cold to Yeum Moon. I could not sleep last night. I was thinking of the sad life of YM. I was into the drama so much. BTW, I don't know about the financial system between Japan and Korea in terms of buying a drama. For Thailand, a station buying a drama from other countries is like buying good (per my understanding). It is one time payment but they might have contract that the buying station cannot sell the drama to others. The station will then manage the drama by themselves. Kona, thank you for the EoTS ending special, love love YM so much. Our guy outshined over every cast in this drama. Enjoy the rest of your weekend^_^
