I have seen it with my own eyes, heard it with my own ears that Song Il Kook is the only actor I know that will greet you by your name once he gets to know you. He is the only actor I know that will shake hands with you, take pictures with you, and personally autograph anything you want him to sign.  He is a amazing NAMJA and my heart goes out to him with everythings thats happening to him. I feel fortunate to have meet and greet this amazing NAMJA and I'm sure I say this on behalf of everyone else that had a chance to meet and greet him too.

Professor Seo Kyoung-Duk praises

“Song Il-Kook is a Big Man, not regret swimming to Dokdo”

28-Aug-2012

Professor

, a specialist in the promotion of Korean culture and history abroad,  extols actor Song Il-Kook.

Professor Seo Kyoung-Duk  twitted on his account on August 27th saying that “Got to talk to Il-Kook. ‘You must be feeling pretty bad?’, ‘No, not at all! I never regret swimming to Dokdo. Thanks for all the work you did in preparing for the event!’ He was concerned more about me and Jang-Hoon.  As  always, Song Il-Kook is a big man!”

Previously, Song Il-Kook, Seo Kyoung-Duk, Kim Jang-Hoon, and about 200 other students succeeded in the August 15th Dokdo swimming event.  About this, Japanese Department of Foreign Affairs officially rejected Song Il-Kook’s entrance to Japan.

In response, Song Il-Kook twitted “Dae-Han, Min-Kook, Man-Sae!”, which are the names of his 3 sons and he did not show much of his emotion.  Noticing this, Kim Jang-Hoon mentioned via his SNS “Got to talk to Song Il-Kook and told him he is so cool, and he said ‘Well, I just mentioned the names of my sons, no big deal!’ He’s a real cool guy.”

Well, no regrets, indeed!  SIK might have lost some Japanese fans but surely have gained more Korean and International fans with his course of action in the Dokkdo issue.  I love to hear how people applaud and praise him for what he did.  It has bothered me before to know that oftentimes, there were more fans coming from Japan who attended his fan meetings than the ones coming from Seoul. I wondered how come that it seemed, he was more popular and loved there than in his own country.  After the Dokdo incident, more Korean fans would realize that this man, Song Il Kook, is not just a celebrity among the many hallyus and young Kpop artists they idolize, but a man of honor whom they should be proud of and deserves their love and respect.  They are lucky to have one like him in their country.

Kim Jang-Hoon: “Can I enter into Japan?”

27-Aug-2012

Singer Kim Jang-Hoon made a statement to the Minister of Japanese Department of Foreign Affairs who denies the entrance of Song Il-Kook.

Kim Jang-Hoon wrote on his Me2day on August 27th “I am asking to the Minister of Japanese Department of Foreign Affairs, just for the heck of it… Can I come to Japan? According to the newspaper, Song Il-Kook who swam to Dokdo was rejected in entering Japan as he is against the feelings of Japanese people, but I am OK, right? I am asking as I am really curious. I am preparing for a Tokyo tour next year”.

Also, “If I just can be admitted, I will take care of whatever the pro-Japanese may do. The reason I am going there is because I just seem to be known for Dokdo, so I want to show the charm of the Korean concert king to the Japanese audience.”,  he says the reason of his visit to Japan.

Kim Jang-Hoon  also talked to Song Il-Kook over the phone said “I told him you are so cool and he said  ‘Well, I just mentioned the names of my sons, no big deal!’ He’s a real big man.”

I must share this video.  The clip of the 2 swimmers who finished last leg of the relay.
The swam like Olympic athletics with full energy.  The swimmers swam days and nights in a dangerous condition with rain, strong wind, and rough wave.

About Kim Jang-Hoon, I find this man very interesting and like to know more about him.  He donated millions of US dollars for various causes.  He's an activist fort "Comfort Women" and "Dokdo" and checks in and out of hospital for anxiety attacks.  I'm curious to see if he and SIK would join for another event.

Dear all SIKers,

Thank you for all your sharing as always. I think he should not loose his Japanese fans. They should understand him as a good person and being a good citizen. Time will cure everything.

Now, I'm hooked with Crime Squad. At first I was about to re-watch Jumong but I decided to watch Crime Squad since it has been postponed in Japan. I just would like to know what Japanes fans will miss. He does not disappoint met at all. Park Se Hyuk is so cute. He has his own charm. How can he portray different role so well? He is an amazing actor. My mother is hooked with Fermentation Family. She really likes SIK from Jumong. She told me that she did not expect SIK to look so handsome in modern cloth^_^ I used to think that, too but I was totally wrong!!!

Ardent, I found your Crime Squad MV. Thank you for making it. It really wonderful. I just like Song Il Kook and Song Ji Hyo together.

Sorry that I could not mention everyone here. I really appreciated your sharing. SIK should be glad to know about the support from his International Fans. We will always be on his side.

Good night and take care.

I have to admit, I was one of those people that wasn't so trilled by the names choosen for his sons, but now with this Dokdo issue going around, the names TAE-HAN, MIN-GUK AND MAN-SE couldn't have sounded any better for SIK, his family and of course the people of Korea..

LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA!!

Thankyou danasibro for the welcome too!!
