Geum Sae Rok and Noh Sang Hyun will be starring in the upcoming Disney+ drama “Soundtrack #2”!

 

A follow-up to “Soundtrack #1” starring Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik, “Soundtrack #2” is a new romance drama that tells the story of an ex-couple that meets again by chance. The drama presents a realistic romance that viewers can relate to from the feeling of passionate love to resentment and regret after a breakup.

 

Geum Sae Rok takes on the role of Hyun Seo, a piano tutor who loves music but has no choice but to give up her dream. The actress previously appeared in dramas including “The Fiery Priest,” “Class of Lies,” “Youth of May,” and “The Interest of Love.”

 

Noh Sang Hyun plays the role of Soo Ho, Hyun Seo’s long-time boyfriend from their college days. Noh Sang Hyun impressed through the drama “Pachinko” and once again showcased his acting skills in the dramas “Behind Every Star” and “Curtain Call.”

 

“Soundtrack #2” is set to be released in the second half of 2023. Stay tuned!

Disney+ is moving forward with the production of their Soundtrack sequel Soundtrack #2 with a casting announcement of their two leads Geum Sae-rok (The Interest of Love) and Noh Sang-hyun (Behind Every Star).

The mini drama will follow the story of two exes, Hyun-seo (Geum Sae-rok) and Soo-ho (Noh Sang-hyun). Having met in their college band and started dating soon after, the two were together for six years. But while school life gave them rosy idealism in spades, the pressures of post-grad life strained their relationship until a misunderstanding became the straw that broke the camel’s back, resulting in a breakup.

 

Four years later, Hyun-seo has given up on her dreams and is now a piano tutor, while Soo-ho is a rich CEO suffering from burnout. When the two coincidentally meet after years of not talking, they’re forced to sort through the resentment and unresolved feelings that have built up between them. Will these old flames find their way back to each other?

With the scripts written by Jeong Hye-seung and Kim Hee-won (Little Women) at the helm again, Soundtrack #2 is currently slated for a late 2023 release. While there’s no word on the original cast making an appearance, with filming currently taking place there’s still room to hope that Park Hyung-shik and Han So-hee will make a cameo. Please?

“Soundtrack #2” has released the first trailer starring Geum Sae Rok and Noh Sang Hyun!

A follow-up to “Soundtrack #1” starring Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik, “Soundtrack #2” is a new romance drama that tells the story of an ex-couple that meets again by chance.

While “Soundtrack #1” explores the story of friends turning into lovers, “Soundtrack #2” takes a fresh approach by depicting the journey of a man and woman who had passionately dated for six years, parted ways, and are now reuniting after four years. Geum Sae Rok stars as Hyun Seo, a piano tutor who prioritizes the reality of the present over love. Noh Sang Hyun takes on the role of Soo Ho, Hyun Seo’s ex-boyfriend who has achieved success as a CEO following their separation. Adding to the intrigue is rookie actor Sohn Jeong Hyuck, who appears between the two as the singer-songwriter Kay.

The newly released teaser offers a glimpse into the evolving narrative of Hyun Seo and Soo Ho as the phrase “Can we start again after breaking up?” piques curiosity. The teaser showcases moments of affection between the characters and also captures their awkward and tense reunification, leaving viewers eager to discover the trajectory of their relationship.

Teaser trailer added for Disney+ drama series “Soundtrack #2” starring Keum Sae-Rok and Noh Sang-Hyun. The drama series follows 2022 Disney+ drama series “Soundtrack 1,” with a new story and different characters. Kim Hee-Won, who directed “Soundtrack #1,” also returns to direct “Soundtrack #2.”

“Soundtrack 2” will be available to stream from December, 2023.

A teaser has dropped for Disney+’s Soundtrack #2, a sequel to the first one that aired earlier last year. This latest installment to the Soundtrack series stars Geum Sae-rok (The Interest of Love) and Noh Sang-hyun (Behind Every Star) as two exes who dated for six years, broke up, and then after four years, meet again.

Before introducing the stars of the newest sequel, the teaser opens with the lifelong best friends from the original: Han So-hee (Soundtrack #1) and Park Hyung-shik (Our Blooming Youth). The text describes them as friends who became lovers, and the one turns into a two as the baton is passed on to our new couple.

 

In the teaser, Do Hyun-seo (Geum Sae-rok) and Ji Soo-ho (Noh Sang-hyun) playfully push each other while sitting on a piano bench, but as the scene changes, the words on the screen say, “We broke up… but could we start again?”

As the ex-lovers stare at each other, a series of images flash in quick succession, and from the look of things, the spark between them still remains. We see Hyun-seo lean in to kiss Soo-ho, and then the teaser cuts to the two of them waking up in bed together with her head laying on his arm. However, given the premise of the show, these could be flashbacks to a happier time when the couple was dating back in college.

If Soundtrack #1 was your classic friend-to-lover trope, it seems Soundtrack #2 will tackle a second chance romance. In line with its predecessor, the sequel will also feature a forced cohabitation as it asks the question: can love bloom again between two souls who failed once already.

Directed by PDs Kim Hee-won (Soundtrack #2, Little Women) and Choi Jung-kyu (The Devil Judge) with scripts penned by Jung Hye-seung, Disney+’s Soundtrack #2 is set to premiere sometime in December 2023.

Who will Geum Sae-rok choose in Soundtrack #2

Disney+ has announced a date for Soundtrack #2 along with a cute new poster and teaser. The upcoming sequel stars Geum Sae-rok (The Interest of Love) as piano instructor Do Hyun-seo who crosses paths with her ex-boyfriend turned successful CEO Ji Soo-ho, played by Noh Sang-hyun (Behind Every Star). To complicate matters, a new face enters the equation in the form of Demian (a.k.a. Sohn Jung-hyuk) as singer-songwriter “K.” The poster hints at their potential love triangle as it asks, “Where will my heart take me?” while our heroine sits between “that man from four years ago” and “this man next to her.”

 

The teaser opens with Hyun-seo and Soo-ho meeting again for, presumably, the first time since their breakup. Both sides look irked by this reunion as she asks if he signed up for this lesson, and he asks back if she is the piano instructor. Their session is filled with incredulous stares as Hyun-seo refuses to touch Soo-ho and redirects his eyeline with a stick.

In a conversation with her friend, Hyun-seo describes their relationship as a movie where she knows all the spoilers, so what’s the point? Her friend disagrees, suggesting that her denial sounds like there might be potential for something to happen, but as if responding to this silly claim, the teaser cuts to Soo-ho plugging one ear and humming to himself.

With the text on screen saying, “You and I performing this second melody,” the teaser shows Hyun-seo and Soo-ho playing piano together happily. He says that it feels like he has returned to the beginning and calls it fluttering. As our two leads look contemplative, the show introduces K who asks Hyun-seo if she doesn’t have any feelings for Soo-ho. In voiceover, she thinks to herself, “If I want to start over again, then I need to end it for real. Let’s take it from the top.”

Written by Jeong Hye-seung and directed by PDs Kim Hee-won (Soundtrack #2, Little Women) and Choi Jung-kyu (The Devil Judge), Disney+’s Soundtrack #2 premieres on December 6.

A follow-up to Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik’s popular drama “Soundtrack #1,” “Soundtrack #2” is a new romance drama about an ex-couple that meets again by chance.

 

The newly released teaser begins with exes Hyun Seo (Geum Sae Rok) and Soo Ho (Noh Sang Hyun) unexpectedly running into each other four years after their breakup. “What are you doing here?” Soo Ho asks in surprise, to which a shocked Hyun Seo responds, “Are you the person who requested this lesson?” Soo Ho then realizes, “Are you my piano teacher?”

 

After Hyun Seo and Soo Ho—who dated for six years before breaking up—get reacquainted through a tense piano lesson with lots of bickering, Hyun Seo muses to a friend, “Even if we started something again, how would it be any different from watching a movie for which you’ve already seen all the spoilers?” Her friend then points out, “It sounds like you’re saying that something might start up again between you two.”

 

As old feelings start to flicker back to life, Soo Ho says in voice-over, “It feels like we’re going back to the beginning. That makes your heart flutter.”

 

However, Soo Ho has some serious competition in the form of singer-songwriter K (Sohn Jeong Hyuck), who asks Hyun Seo, “You don’t have any feelings for the CEO [Soo Ho], right?” After struggling with her confusing emotions, Hyun Seo decides, “If I’m going to start over, I need to really end things for good.”

 

The teaser ends with Hyun Seo in piano teacher mode, saying, “Let’s start over from the beginning.”

Disney+ has unveiled a poster for its upcoming drama “Soundtrack #2”!

A follow-up to Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik’s popular drama “Soundtrack #1,” “Soundtrack #2” is a new romance drama about an ex-couple that meets again by chance. Geum Sae Rok will star as Do Hyun Seo, a piano tutor who is more focused on her present reality than on love, while Noh Sang Hyun will star as her ex-boyfriend Ji Soo Ho, who became a wealthy and successful CEO after their breakup.

In the newly released poster, Hyun Seo is caught between Ji Soo Ho, whom she dated for six years before they went their separate ways four years ago, and the handsome singer-songwriter K (played by Sohn Jeong Hyuck), who isn’t shy about expressing his feelings for her.

To symbolize the romantic crossroads at which Hyun Seo finds herself, the three leads sit together at a bus stop, with Hyun Seo in between the two men. On one side, Soo Ho is described as “Before: the man from four years ago,” while on the other, K is summed up as “Now: this man by my side.”

The poster’s caption sums up Hyun Seo’s dilemma by asking, “Where will my heart lead?”
