In one of the interviews, he did state that after he came back from Hong Kong filming, his ribs started to hurt alot, so he went to check it out with an X-ray at the airport medical center....and they found that he had a hairline fracture on his ribs.... Poor LJJ, all the stunts were done himself, didn't want to rely on stuntman, but one of the young newbie actor punched or kicked him for real (accidentally, but he hit too hard..).

Lee Jin-Wook also complained of his ribs being so sore after the filming, b'cos he said they kicked and punched him too hard and he did get hurt. So when JiWoo was supposed to hit him in the stomach (one of the scenes), he was afraid to get hit again on the same spot where he got hurt.

LJJ then advised JiWoo to hit him where there is no rib or bone, only on the fleshy soft side....

Thanks Rosepetal for the detailed news on LJJ’s condition. I saw clips of him being beaten up during the HK-filming scenes and noticed he was punched by a group of baddies, such traumatic scenes...bleeding all over his face! He’s such a pro for taking up the stunt scenes himself and the same goes with LJW.

Oh yeah…I saw one of the clips which showed CJW giving LJW a punch and it seems they took few re-takes to make it right. No wonder LJJ was giving CJW a tip on where to land her punch. Thanks dear chingu for translating the scene to us. It makes a lot of difference when we understand what was being transpired by the cast and crewmen.

Kim Ji-Sung (Actor: Lee Jung-Jae)

LJJ played a 33 year old high ranking Officer who worked for the National Information Academy at Incheon Airport.

The airport is a ‘Border'.

His intelligence and skill is to detect terrorism from entering the country, the industrial spy, the airplane abduction, the fraud foreign currency scam, carrying unlawful goods ie. drugs, the camouflage defector, quarantine, and the international crime class employment and the passport imitation, cyber terrorism etc and as a National Information Academy Officer, he takes charge of all these concerning security in the airport.

He possessed a skilled observation power and sharp judgment acumen and is always quick in action. However, he doesn't seem to compromise when his mind is set in believing that he is correct in his judgment. Hence, he disobeyed instructions and sometimes leaves him in trouble.

He entered the national information academy as an ordinary person. He fell in love with an intern who worked in a hospital while he was being nursed for an injury. However, their relationship did not materialize into a marriage.

He suffered pain due to the separation and voluntarily goes to the Middle East to nurse his broken heart. He wanted to forget everything and concentrated to accomplish his mission. However, when he returned to his homeland, he met up with his old sweetheart again after an interval of three years. He was confused.

Both Kim Ji-Sung and Han Do-Gyung (CJW), the General Manager in charge of the HQ Management often seen bickering due to their conflicting opinion in work.

Han Do-Gyung (Actress : Choi Ji-Woo)

CJW played a 31 year old professional lady who worked as a General manager – HQ Management at the Incheon Airport

The airport is a 'Shelter'.

Her scope of work is within the jurisdiction of the airport management. She’s beautiful and has a cool judgment, skillful in tackling her work and is capable to speak five foreign languages. However, she suffers from loneliness and still fresh in her mind, she is battling with a painful childhood wound.

She had experienced falling in and out of love several times and is afraid to fall in love again until she meets KJS.

She panics when she learned that Dr. Suh who worked in the airport is an old lover of KJS.

Kang Ha-Joon (Actor: Lee Jin-Wook)

He played a 31 year old Officer, holding a position as the Head of Management Team at the airport.

The airport is a 'Battlefield'.

A man with deep affection, sensible, impatient and talk aggressively. He managed the airport security through monitoring thousands of close circuits at the airport.

He is in love with his childhood friend, HDG and later suffered an unrequited love.

Suh Myung-Woo (Actress: Moon Jung-Hee)

MJH played a 31 year old doctor who is stationed at the airport. She’s an ex-lover of Kim Ji-Sung and a divorcee.

When she learned that Kim Ji-Sung had returned home, she left the University Hospital and applied work in the airport emergency center. Old feelings revived, though KJS did not expect any reconciliation, it wasn’t the same with SMW. She wanted to return to KJS. However, there’s an obstacle, she feared the appearance of Han Do-Gyung, who is beautiful and looked smart next to KJS. She hesitated to start a friendship with HDG and envies her.

Thanks Felicia for the LJJ update and Rosepetal for the gist especially, really appreciate the sharing. Acting is such a dangerous job, not happy or glamourous all the time. Action sequences, no matter how small can go terribly wrong without the right technique and considerate precision, too. Most of the action done, I noticed, the actors would try to deliver as real as possible.

Luckily, the lead actors are alright and realized their sitution before aggravating the injury/pain unnecessarily.

The funny moment was when CJW supposedly hit LJW's rib, she keep walking and hug LJJ instead. And how LJJ didnt know what to do when the PD direct LJJ and CJW about the scene, so he keep watching and teasing them, and at the last minute teach LJW how to hug Jiwoo :blush:
