after i finish part 1 i was too anxious to find out what happened

in part 2 i read the spoilers too..

oh i heard there was gonna to be a spinoff to part 2..

but this time it's about L && what he did in that 23 days that he was alive..

i think it was "L change the world"..sumthing like that

I'm really looking forward to that L spinoff.. Death Note anime and movies are realy pretty cool.. I love L and Light's battle of wits.. really awesome..

I'll clear up the confusion about Rem----

(for those who don't want to know, don't read the red text)

Rem wrote both Watari and L's name into his Death Note,

but only Watari died because L wrote his own name into the note earlier.

However Rem wrote his name down so it must have had some effect,

hence the part where L fell onto the ground and his heart temporarily stopped.

----- I think Toda Erika was the perfect choice for the roll of Misa.

Erika was cute (as required in her roll), but not cute to the point of being annoying.

I felt so sorry for her in the very end of the movie though! ; _ ;

All in all it was a fantastic movie. =)

It kept me thinking every second, and was very thrilling.

yup! L is just faking he's death. .coz he saw watari fell down.. and thought that rem already wrote his name in the DN along with watari.. he just pretended dead to caught kira... in action!

i was told 'the last stand' was better than the first. i saw teh first in sort of LQ/MQ and i'd say the movie wasnt as good as me silently reading the mangas (vol. 1-10). my parents just came home from my friend's house and they brought me 'the last stand' dvd which he had borrowed from our other friend! i'll watch it sometime this week.

I have the trailers if anyone wants it. It looks darn exciting, having been a huge fan of the DN saga (anime, manga, movie); this spin-off is a must watch. I'm definitely catching the movie when it sneaks in our theatres 21/01/08!

I watched the 2nd one and I really liked it!! ^__^ I read the manga but only up to I think vol. 12 I don't remember lol

But I really liked how the actors played the char. ^__^ wait there's going to be a 3rd movie?! COOLLL!

i cried at the last part

i didn't expect that i would cry

actually, i wonder why L looked at Mr. Yagami with such look when Mr. Yagami covered him with a blanket during DN1

when L said he never had a parents i figured out the reason

honestly, this is the first time i didn't find it annoying with a person with such cutesy personality, Misa i guess Erika played Misa character well.

anyway the ending is so sad T__T
