Lol. His voice sounds like a lullaby. KAJ also has nice speaking voice. I guess that is why she was always tasked to emcee events including Baeksang for 5 years in a row. 

 

And KNG is one of the few actors I noticed that does not appear to wear much make up even during filming. His skin tone between the neck and face is pretty even unlike some actors whom you can spot the excessive bb cream and wears make up outside of filming set.

 

@bluehopeatm Thanks for the collage. You know the more you put their photos side by side, the more I see them resembling each other and the stronger they gave me husband and wife vibe (or am i delusional?) I hope pokemon won't wait till he is 40 to get married.

I like his voice too... Very comforting,  soothing and sexy. Whenever I heard Heo Im comforted Yeon Kyung in LUTYN,  my heart melted.

Actually it's for pronunciation, precise diction, and vocalization.

 

You know sometimes male or female actors eat the words when speaking, mumbling or speaking in aegyo.....it's frustating to listen.

 

AJ diction, pronunciation, and vocalization are also good. That's the reason she was the MC of Baeksang awards for couple of years in a row.

Yesterday many people praised her too. They said she's a great MC.

Imho AJ wouldn't find NG voice as her ideal type of voice. His real voice is thin and low. She liked heavy and thick voice like Han Suk Gyu and Son Suk Hee. When RaeWon asked her if his voice is ok for her standard, she said yes.

 

However in her latest interview (or at the fanmeet?) she said she doesn't care about voice anymore. The most important is the man understands her and cares for her

Agree that both have great voices. From the Gilstory clips, KNG’s voice seemed to have deepen/roughen slightly since then. It sounds more charismatic but I do hope he will stop smoking. I loved the tone in which he spoke to her when he entered her room while she was crying. It was so soothing and gentle and full of love. When he was Heo Im the way he spoke at Haeminso to the town folks was great too, very authoritative and smooth. He is a wonderful voice actor, no wonder they asked him to narrate documentaries.

Wow, reading KNG's writings in that few translated chapters was enough to send me into brooding and reflection. And greater realisation of how deep and layered his thoughts can be. His words allowed us to have a peek into that vast world of his inner thoughts- on how he's constantly soul searching, how he's always trying to find meaning in what he does and how he's repeated trying to find strength to carry on.  Here's a man whose aware, or may I say, very aware of his surroundings, his shortcomings and the rough edges he has. My heart grew heavier with every available chapter - through the time when he was under great fatigued, to the time when he found strength from a fellow senior and particularly when he doubted himself on whether he could love or be loved. But what made my heart eventually ached was when he recounted the feeling of being so helpless as he stands among earthquake victims who are going thru unspeakable pains and hardships. His realisation that his presence couldn't possibly elevate their pains almost made me cry. This is a man who completely did not have any notion that since he's a renown actor and he visited them, they should automatically feel comforted. Instead, he became aware of how insignificant and weak he is in the face of such hardships and pains. Reading the translations itself was enough to make me feel immense heartache. I can't imagine what a mess I would be if I could read and understand Korean perfectly. 

 

If earlier, my feelings were leaned towards KAJ in wishing her to quickly find her happiness soon, mainly because we had more opportunities to see her recent blissful countenance, get to know her thoughts thru her interviews and V live birthday party, reading his writings has cause a whole new surge in me to wish that KNG could find his happiness too soon in someone who treasures him for who he is, who is confident in him, who embraces him, who trusts him and who is ready to be his home. Someone whom I truly hope is KAJ.
