Thanks for the Seoul awards updates! Our KAJ looked loveliest of them all in that classy gown. I hope Nam Gil-ssi got a nosebleed from that visual. 

 

Very much looking king forward to Pokemon’s interview. Can’t help running through in my head what are the questions I hope the interviewer will ask and his possible answers. He has the habit of talking non stop so I am hoping for some juicy tidbits that he might let slip, especially when he is erm..passionate about the topic/person. 

 

Some questions and answers I am hoping for 

1) Interviewer: KAJ said that you would be playful around others but is always ernest with her. How is the relationship between you and KAJ?

KNG: I was nervous around her in the beginning because she is so beautiful and cool. But we got closer towards the middle. In fact our relationship very much mirrors HI and YK.

Interviewer: Even that from episode 12 onwards?

KNG: (Perverted laugh) Not yet

 

2) Interviewer: How do you feel about KAJ being nominated for best actress?

KNG: I CALLED her to congratulate her and told her that I am happy for her. Regardless of the outcome, I told her she is already the winner of..sorry... in my heart. 

 

Maybe we we can do a compilation of the Q&A and see how many we got right from the interview.

2) Interviewer : Is it your first time working with KAJ right? what is your first impression from her?

KNG : Yes its the first time we worked together. I watch some of her project and i thought ahh it will be nice if i can work with her, and then this happened. Im really glad to work with her. She is kind, warm, and has amazing talent. Now im become greedy to work with her again in the future.. i think our personality match each other *ROFL!!!*

Questions :

1) Journalist : "After 4 long years away from the small screen, you made a successful comeback with the drama Live up to your name which became the highest rated drama for tvn this year. How do you feel about this success ?"

 

KNG : "OH geurae ? HAHAHAHA. I am really thankful for all the love and support received for the drama. It's been a long time for me doing a drama and the first time for a cable drama, so I wasn't sure of the outcome. And I'm really relieved and thankful. I was kinda worried after the Vlive we did together with YMK and KAJ, also known as "Mong Ah"."

 

2) Journalist : "Regarding your chemistry with with KAJ and Kalchim couple, or Gum couple for international fans, how would you explain the (ultra) enthusiastic reaction from fans ? What's the recipe to create this kind of (explosive/lethal) chemistry on-screen ?"

 

KNG : "Just on-screen ? HAHAHA. Well, more seriously it was natural... We..." (gets interrupted)

 

Journalist : "Like the Acupuncture kiss you mean ? "

 

KNG : "Em... yeah... Em... I'll get to that one later... Why did she even say that ? That woman is really unpredictable! Ehem... The storyline allowed a strong and steady build-up for the relationship between YK and HI to blossom into a lovers relationship. Solid writing and directing made it realistic and enjoyable for viewers. And it gave us actors the oportunity to mobilize our full potential into acting out these scenes. KAJ is a great actress, I'm not saying that just to praise her. I really like her... er... I like her passion for acting... Such detail... so much research... Just wow. With such environment and such a partner, I could act with no restraint. But I was very surprised and delighted at fan's rections regarding our chemistry."

 

3) Journalist : "Back to that kiss...."

 

KNG : "Oh HAHAHAHA! Cham !" *starts shaking legs, turns  head around with mouth wide open and his ears turns red* "That was impressive right ? HAHAHA. Yes. We didn't receive much direction from PD-Nim or Writer-nim. It was the 12th episode so the kiss comes very late in the story comparing to other dramas. But the timing is absolutely right, since YK and HI have finally healed their traumas and have realized their feelings for each other. We are also aware of the viewers' expectations. So we go for it naturally, like we usually do... er.. I mean... well... you know... don't misunderstand... I just mean it wasn't scripted and it was just KNG and KAJ doing how they feel they should do it.... OK... that sounds even worse. I'll stop here HAHAHA"

 

 

4) Journalist : "Do you realize that you are very popular right now ? In terms of Brand value you were ranked in top 3-4. But we don't see much of you.. People had to retrieve their forgotten Pokeballs to start chasing after you, the rarest of Pokemons out there... What do you say to your fans, who want to hear more about you ?"

 

KNG : "Yes... As an actor I try not to think of fame as a goal. I just wish to show my best acting in diverse genres. I'm not saying I don't want some recognition, I do actually. But fame, as in losing my privacy... No, I don't wish for such life. To my fans, I'm sorry i'm not into SNS but do not worry i'm having lots of projects. Right after LUTYN wrapped up, I was shipped off to Zombieland for my new movie that I am currently shooting. So you will get to see me.  And yesterday Hightcut told you 'He's coming' and yes I am. I a promising some sexy photos so I'm sorry in advance if I cause hyperventilations, strokes and such. You were all warned..." (we suddenly hear a BANG and screams from staff) "Omo what happened" (We see journalist lying on the floor)

Hi @Cynthia kristiani, I just went into whice1 IG and true enough I saw the 2 photos of KNG this year. One in April. The other in september. And both really have different feels. The April one he really looked more serious. Maybe that’s why in his April interview article he said he was not happy. And the September he really looked more smiley and happier. I believe if he has an interview now, he would say he is happy at the moment. I think both the career and personal aspects of his life are doing well that’s why.
