Suzy and Lee Jong Suk are spotted filming their new drama!

 

The two stars are playing the leads of upcoming SBS drama 'While You Sleep' (working title). 

 

Currently, several photos of Suzy and Lee Jong Suk getting friendly and close at the drama set are roaming the web. It's reported that the photos were taken at a cafe in Gyeonggi-do on March 18.

'While You Sleep', written by the scriptwriter of 'Pinocchio' and 'I Hear Your Voice', depicts the story about a woman who can see the future in her dreams. Lee Jong Suk is playing a prosecutor who helps the woman prevent unfortunate events and accidents from happening. It's scheduled to air in the second half of 2017.

Recently, fans and pedestrians, who spotted the pair filming in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, shared photos of their discovery on various online communities and social media sites.

Suzy fixes Lee Jong Suk’s hair as they sit in a cafe, and displays a new short hairstyle. Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk looks dandy dressed up in a suit-and-tie along with a different parting in his own hair. The actors were also seen filming at a law office located in the same city.

“While You Were Asleep” tells the story of a girl who sees future accidents and incidents that will happen to people in her dreams, and a prosecutor who tries his hardest to prevent those dreams from becoming reality.

Sneak peek at Suzy and Lee Jong Suk’s budding romance in While You Were Sleeping

 

Earlier this month, we reported on everything you needed to know about While You Were Sleeping, SBS’s new fantasy and legal drama starring Lee Jong Suk and Suzy. At that time, Lee Jong Suk’s filming start date was officially announced, but publicly, no one knew when Suzy would begin. Thanks to fans and passersby, many pictures of the two filming some scenes together were shared on March 18 -- here’s your first look!

 

Images making their way around the internet show the pair filming in and outside a coffee shop, reportedly, in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, located southwest of Seoul. Pictures show them sitting side-by-side and contemplatively looking off into the distance. In one video clip shared on Twitter, Suzy can be seen facing Lee Jong Suk and touching the top of his head, perhaps examining a bruise on his forehead. Many guesses can be made from the photos, but one thing is clear: Suzy is rocking a cute short new hairdo.

As previously reported, While You Were Sleeping tells the story of an unemployed journalist, Hong Ju (Suzy), who foresees people’s unfortunate events in her sleep. Hoping to prevent the nightmares from becoming a reality, prosecutor Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) works with her to stop the ill-fated events from occurring. The script is written by Park Hye Ryun, whose previous works include Dream High (2011), I Hear Your Voice (2013), and Pinocchio (2014).

The upcoming series is scheduled to air in the second half of this year.

Thanks to the power of sharp-eyed fans and social media, eager viewers got their first glimpse of "While You Were Sleeping - 2017".

Fans recently spotted Lee Jong-suk and Suzy hard at work on their upcoming drama in Ansan, Gyeonggi province. Fan postings on social media revealed Lee Jong-suk and Suzy filming in the window of a café in Ansan, and later in a law office in the same city. Given that the photos reveal little about the show, fan speculation was limited to the leads' hair: Suzy's hair is shorter than usual, while Lee Jong-suk has a different part. In one photo, Suzy can be seen fixing Lee Jong-suk's hair.

"While You Were Sleeping - 2017" is set to be entirely pre-produced, so there's a good chance of another fan sighting before it airs. The drama stars Suzy as a woman who can see the future, and Lee Jong-suk as a prosecutor who aims to prevent her visions from coming to pass. The premise sounds like it falls somewhere in between suspense and melodrama, but the writer is Park Hye-ryeon, who has a good track record of bringing a light touch to grim material.

Park Hye-ryeon also has a good track record with both of her leads; she was the writer of Lee Jong-suk's hits, "I Hear Your Voice" and "Pinocchio", as well as Suzy's debut drama, "Dream High". It's hard to tell from these photos, but here's hoping "While You Were Sleeping - 2017" is as great as her previous dramas.

Suzy And Lee Jong Suk Were Spotted Filming For 'While You Sleep:' Looking Friendly And Close

 

Suzy and Lee Jong Suk have been confirmed as leading roles in upcoming drama "While You Sleep." Being an anticipated drama for having two big stars, recently both got caught being friendly to one another.

Lee Jong Suk has been doing career in acting for a long time. Having years of experience, his acting has got proven already. He often got praised by the director to build up chemistry pretty fast with other leads. He also showed a great acting to win some awards. As for Suzy, she did acting at first with "Dream High." Keeping busy with girl group with no acting, recently she began acting again in some dramas. Although she may lack in experience, but she has learned pretty quick and her recent drama "Uncontrollably Fond" has received much love from the viewers.

Reported by Allkpop, several photos of Suzy and Lee Jong Suk went viral for showing friendly and close at the drama set when they were filming.
