@mrsyooknit, ok so it's because she wants to kill MF.  Just think of her actually using her sixth sense subconsciously and knows she has something to do with YWY and so she wants to get rid of her, lol.  For a minute there I thought she did something unforgivable and I'd have to cancel the party.  So I guess the icy lake won't happen until nest week.  I thought were airing episodes this Saturday and Sunday.  But it's okay, since we've waited this long, a couple of days more won't make a big difference. I have conformed to being content as long as YWY is happy at the end.  The rest we will have to leave to the imagination or read the end of those books with visions of YWY and XE from PA in our heads.  What can you do? Beggars can't be choosers. We are at their mercy.

I am just mad at her bc she kind of annoys me. And then she goes off and orders them to shoot at MF in the preview so I was 

Ice Lake could be Sunday or Tuesday since they are dragging this out so so much.

it will end Tuesday next week. One episode on Sunday, one on Monday, and one on Tuesday. Hunan is just dragging it out to promote another drama.

Yeah why she ask their siu li army to shoot MF ... she becomes cruel like YX but maybe after that they become frens .. dont forget MF marry to the one that shot her.. 

Hopefully chuo phao chang isnt died .. he knows everything

Me too, I signed up to watch this because I thought it was going to be about spies and YWY was the head of one of those spy organization.  Boy was I barking up the wrong tree.   The best part of being wrong about this and getting sucked into this series is finding this corner of the Soompi forum and it's participants and discovering the actor LGX who is a barrel of laugh in his tv appearances and some of his movies.

no she has a legit reason to shoot at MF. MF and her spies sneak into her camp so in CQ's eyes they are enemies, so it makes sense. But still I like MF >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>CQ so I want MF to succeed on whatever she was ordered to do by YWY.

I think CQ is loyal to her beliefs and ideals. Even if she feels a bit shaken by recent events. She still feels that next to YX is the best place to accomplish those. 

YWY needs to forget her and get together with MF

Here's my bold prediction, MF will not die and will be rescued by YWY.  I think QC's deeply buried sixth sense remembers her face from when she threw the poison dart at her so let's not throw stones at QC for getting back at MF.   She doesn't know MF has turned away from the dark side (doesn't help she was wearing similar dark clothes while stealthily attacking that camp).   I saw some hidden foreshadowing when they showed HC (or is it HX?) shooting the arrow after the kill order by QC.  More signs of a possible time jump and a happy ending where MF hook up with HC.  I think the party is definitely is on.  It's just a matter of time.  Still hopeful it's not going to be last minute kind of thing.

Yes, you're correct. Starting Sunday, the drama will air 1 episode a week at the 23:00 china time slot. Hunan TV reserve the 22:00 to advertise their upcoming drama or something like that. The drama will end next Tuesday, August 1 for a total of 67 TV episodes.

This episode is just summarizing that there are three types of spy. Underground spy (Wind and Cloud), Liang Spy, and eye of god. Afterlife camp is just a well known assasination team. 

In today's episode, the shopowner revealed a little bit before he died why the evil eye (I think he's the minister; I don't know his name actually. He's the one that was following YX's father for years, then switched to 8th prince side). The shopowner used to be a servant of LuoHe. Before he died, he said the evil eye is looking for the daughter to obtain the wind and cloud decree because back then he was jealous. Xia Chong said a few episodes back that when she was in the afterlife camp, one of her mission was to kill LuoHe. My guess is that the evil guy and LuoHe could be from the same disciple, but the master was given to LuoHe so he got jealous. The master of wind and cloud decree gets to obtain this KungFu Ice so I guess that's why people want it.

CQ is actually not that hateable. I think most people who watches the drama starts disliking her because they're seeing how YWY gets misunderstood and wronged multiple times. It's like beating a dead horse. YWY keeps giving her love and saves her from time to time, but she's not seeing it. I can't blame her. Even in modern times, when a guy starts liking a female and do things for them, like being their best friend and help them when they're in need, sometimes when the girl have a goal/dream to chase, she doesn't see those romance things. It's not that she has no feelings, she's just following her heart. Same with CQ, she's following her heart. 

In the drama, we can see her relationship with YX is starting to break. Its not that CQ is giving YX the cold shoulder. She's just upset at his actions and as for YX, he could have approached and explain to her, but he doesn't. He doesn't even dare face her. He only looks at her from far away. What can he really say? He says it himself. He can only wait, because right now, he's like a nobody. He wants to give the best to her so he doesn't want to make any move to push her further away.

I was a bit confused too. Based on her conversation with He Xiao, she is aware Meng Feng is a spy. I saw glimpse of the note being passed from one person to the next and then someone with a sword took it. Then, it land in YWY's hand. From CQ's look, it seems she wrote that letter on purpose. YWY know that it is a trap so he ordered Meng Feng to leave, but when she does leave, then CQ and XiuLi Army arrive. It seems like a plot that she set up, but if she knows Meng Feng is YWY's spy, then why does she want to attack her? So confusing... 

EDIT: OH! So, CQ doesn't know that MengFeng is YWY's people. She knows they're not townspeople and wants to capture the whole crew so she wrote that fake letter pretending to be them to send to their master. However, YWY knows its a trap because he recognize that character she wrote and knows its CQ/XE. Interesting...

I like MF too from what I have seen of the episodes with her and the new trailers.  She looks intimidatingly tall and yet feminine.  It would have been nice if her character was introduced earlier like when they introduced the Liang Princess so we can care more about her character like we do YQ.  Btw, where is that liang princess after she went off to be by herself?  That's the biggest problem with QC and the PA series, they took on more than they can handle and nothing is done well.

Yeah seems like we as audience notice more holes missing than the director  lol ... at the beginning they give us so many mystery but till near the end many of them hasnt solved yet n they seem forgot it
