@BaiZiHua hi love, we meet again *bearhugs* thank you for your kind words  I also hoping that we will like the rest of the drama, the ending of TJOF somehow lingering on my mind  but you know what, at this point, I don't mind if this drama ending also like TJOF, rushing, certain scenes not showed up, only showed in the conversations between characters, but at least it's not an open ending with a lot of loose end still hanging, especially if CQ

Hello everyone, new here!

I've been following PA from the start but couldn't find anywhere to rant + rave. Finally a generous  friend took pity and recommended this site.

My fave YWY + Crown prince if Liang. Female lead was CE till I caught epi 44 - I always liked the princess - she really impressed me in this epi and having seen the upcoming segments I feel she's going to really rock the show.

Altho I don't agree with YX actions but enjoying the character reversal - all the actors are doing justice to their roles. The princess + YX are growing as characters, we need the same to happen with the leads.

Thanks! I think this adds to my previous comments about YWY's recent actions. Regret. When he told her you would regret it, he was also talking about himself.

So YS did stab YX with poisonous knife at his stomach, and when YX trying to make YS get away from him, he use the sword and it cut off YS's arm. A soldier trying to kill YS and CE, but YX stop him, and ordering someone escort YS and CE back safely and then he passed out

So what's going to happen to CE is because of

@mrsyooknit couldn't agree more, CQ's death 3 years ago is more shocking to him than the drama showed us, but YWY also know the consequences of his actions (not reporting YX and CQ's plan). But at this point he just don't want to lose CQ for the 2nd time eventhough he know he will regret this actions when he see the outcome of YX-CQ's plan will be

@jolin_chan, Yeah!! The ChanHong Sword....hahahahaha......From the chit chat with Grandpa, we knew YWY regretted big time about had to lost XE for 3 years. But at the same time if he is too reckless it will cause trouble big time for both of them....XE is learning the hard cold truth of war. Guo Jing Ming in BoC told Xiang2, "During the war, there is no bystanders."

XE dabbles in Game of Thrones with the big boys, she is out of their league. She was not prepare at all with the collateral damages. She apologizes profusely to CE. She even kill off the whole battalion of soldiers bcoz of that. The exchange between her and the soldiers opened her eyes wide but she still need to learn more and FAST. YX was misunderstood in this case, I applause YX in the way he handle CE and YS. But I can't  blame YS, he misunderstood too.

I love HeXiao, he was superb in "wo you tai nie men huei cia" scene.....I cried....

I think Crippled Grandpa is hiding a cold hard truth about YWY's mother.  YWY confronted him after he keeps on go on and on and on about how he adopted him, that he has duty toward Yuwen Family and how his father is a kind of hero bcoz he protected the country(?) etc etc....YWY said he can protected the country but where was he when my mother got into trouble, what is the use of protecting a country if you can't even protect your loved ones. He is a husband, as a husband he has a duty to protect his wife but he did not....

I don't like that CQ tries to make excuses for her actions. It is in times like this that I appreciate how YWY acted and how YX owns up to his actions.

YWY also has his share of blame in all of this. I don't think he has any blame for YX's tragedy bc he did everything in his power to stop it and he helped YX as much as he could. Thus, he disregards his own moral code to save her. I don't think this is good. Whatever he feels for her, he has a duty to his country and it should come first. 

So I disagree with everyone saying that YWY is perfect and that he doesn't have any darkness. Us being able to sympathize with YWY early on comes from him being oppressed, used, and unappreciated. YWY is very pragmatic and he is always able to see the big picture, which lets him go dark at times. However, he has the best intentions at heart. He wants to protect everyone. This was his mistake last time. He tried to protect everyone and he ended up protecting no one. This time he picks CQ. He only wants to protect her and damned be anyone else. You could say this is his most selfish action to date. 

Ahhh. All the things we do for love. That's why I have always believed that "You cannot love someone above or greater than anyone else"
