g.o.d's Son Ho Young has dropped the full tracklist to his upcoming mini album!

Son Ho Young will be returning solo for the 1st time in 5 whole years, and fans are eager to see just how much he's matured as a musician! The title track for his comeback, "May, I", was also revealed to have been specially composed for Son Ho Young by singer/song writer Yoon Jong Shin!

Son Ho Young Makes Solo Comeback With “My Weak Point” MV

g.o.d’s Son Ho Young returns with his second solo mini album “May, I.”

On May 23 at midnight KST, the singer released his new album through major music sites. The album consists of a total of six tracks, “My Weak Point,” “Only You,” “Where Are You,” “Will You Stop,” the MR for “My Weak Point,” and a bonus track “Diamond Lady” featuring Huckleberry P.

Son Ho Young has also released the music video for title track “My Weak Point,” which was written, composed, and produced by Yoon Jong Shin. The music video captures the sentiment of the lyrics, which tell the story of a man who realizes the value of his lover too late.

Son Ho Young reveals the ups and downs of promoting solo

Son Ho Young talked about promoting solo as opposed to in a group like g.o.d on the May 26 airing of SBS's 'Cultwo Show.'

On this day, he said, "This year will be my tenth year since debuting as a solo artist. I first started when I was 26. I remember having trouble many times. I had to bear a lot of different baggage by myself."

Still, he looked to the bright side of things, adding, "But the money only comes to me, which I like," causing laughter. So basically... worth?

Son Ho Young talks about marriage + a joint concert with H.O.T, g.o.d, Sechskies, and Shinhwa

g.o.d's maknae Son Ho Young, who recently made a solo comeback with "May, I", sat down for an earnest interview about his days ahead!

The maknae of the 1st generation idol group is now 36 in Korean age this year, making questions about marriage unavoidable. He relayed, "Marriage is something you decide on after significant thought. I'm not confident [about marriage] yet." 

The singer's interests still seemed to lie solely with his career, as he stated, "I want to create a 'life piece' that will represent me. I want to create a song that will represent me, and have a representative drama or movie where I can show off some real acting." 

About his group g.o.d, Son Ho Young shared, "g.o.d is something I absolutely, undoubtedly have to continue. Sechskies' recent reunion was very touching. It would be awesome to have a joint concert with H.O.T, g.o.d, Sechskies, and Shinhwa."

A joint concert featuring the 4 top 1st generation idol groups would be absolutely incredible!

HoYoung and his god brothers will set off on a nationwide tour through the first two months of 2017, the first concert is to be held in Seoul, 7-8 Jan 2017.

I can't wait to see HY and his god brothers on stage again.
