Okay first of all I don't think the teaser scene will be shown in the drama. Don't ask me why tho cos i don't know.

And the teaser doesn't exactly imply that JH had romantic feelings 13 years back. She was dear to him. Probably that's why he said the hold on to thing  Maybe after they parted ways then he realized it was more that a studently affection.

And by the look of it HJ was a mature kid back then. She might helped him as well. So it's not actually weird falling for her when he was in a rough situation

seeing to the teaser seems like RW character  has been n love with older sis of PSH character . He has mantored her and really loves her as she reminds him of someone in past  and is happy to see her doing well . PSH character may have crush on him as mentor and senior .

These drama is based on many realistic social issues and the way they are handle, an eye opener.  Drama can not be only about fantasy, or make believe. I applause the writer, for having the guts , and the cast for bring it on to the screen, an all others that are make this great drama become a reality. Reason for so many veteran actors and actress of all age group. The teasers are already given us the clue that is a drama like no other , and we should look forward to it, and be ready for the challenge to understand , get educate, because after this drama, many will face certain issues,  in our daily life , with a total different mind set and approach .

June 20 almost here, be ready to have fun, to get angry, to get excited , to cry,  want to fight, using your intelligence to understand, and perhaps, be that Mentor, by believe and trust,  that can help so many HYE JUNG  in the world, that as any human being, have a right to be loved, care for, right to change, rehabilitated, dream and pursue it, support, and to have a brilliant career when they work hard for it. JUST BELIEVE AND TRUST.

We know Park Shin Hye is up to the challenge and her costars are on the game. "GAME ON " June 20.

To me, if you look at the context of the situation, it is quite clear although my interpretation may be wrong. Ji Hong only became a teacher to escape from the world and himself after suffering a table death and questioning his capabilities. Thus, as a teacher, he closed himself to the world and was lost in his grief and bitterness, as such romantic feelings is completely impossible which dispels any possibility of a student-teacher romance. However, Hye Jung must have innocuously came into his life either through him seeing her actions and gaining introspection or her trying to get him to open up . In this stage, he must have pushed her aside only to realize subsequently that she has made a mark in his heart and in the 10 years that passed, there was no one as her or he had some regrets. 

Thus, seeing her again is like a god-given opportunity to be grasped and he does not want to let it go again, although many things would have probably changed. I do hope that the drama will have more of a Japanese flair rather than the passive -aggressive behaviour usually seen in Korean male leads.

After I saw the second teaser, the premise reminds me of Fruits Basket, Tohru parents (Katsuya-Kyoko) story. The girl is also a gangster and a high school student, meanwhile the guy is her high school teacher. They both did have a problem of their own, thus they attracted each other in a particular way. In that story, the girl was involved in a gang and was a good fighter, while her parents didn't care about her. She lived her life in a reckless way. Meanwhile, the teacher became a teacher only because the pressure of his parents (who's also a teacher), not because he liked it. Thus, he became a two faced teacher. The teacher paid special attention to her because he was attracted by her honesty, and because of the teacher, the girl wanted to change her way of living to a better way. The teacher also mentored her study even outside of school. Then they had feelings for each other and after many obstacles they're going through, eventually they're married. 
I’m not usually a fan of teacher-student story with the male much older than the girl, but I loved that Tohru parents’ story. So maybe I’ll love this story, too. Who knows, maybe the writer was inspired by that Fruits Basket story lol

When I first heard Doctors summary, I thought the story might go to Fruits Basket Tooru’s parents way. It seems to really go to that way from what I see on the 2nd teaser. I'm definitely excited to see how it will turn out.

I love your comment seriously what if he has feeling for his student ? what is the crime ?? Of course I don't  mean to cross that line between teacher and student but I mean we are the same had hidden feelings and we won't express it according the situation itself , Ji Hong has the feeling but didn't define it is it love or just curiosity until he met her again he felt that passion for that person who make his soul to fight again and back without give he found that hye Jang make him see realize how she  important to him when hever speaks like that he speaks like someone in love forgetting  the line and reasons but of course teacher student relation ship is respected without crossing any line  .... what is the crime

Second Teaser for Doctors Plays Up the OTP Romance Potential, Then and Now

The second teaser is out for the next SBS Mon-Tues drama Doctors, and so far the drama hasn’t actually shown any doctoring in either of the teasers unless you count pretty people wearing white doctor coats. This new teaser switches the tone and perspective, from reformed former high school gangster Hye Jung to her mentor Dr. Hong Ji Hong. While the first aimed for female empowerment, who doesn’t like a story about turning one’s life around and becoming a neurosurgeon, the second piles on the first crush romance.

Kim Rae Won does a walk down memory lane when he sees a snoozing Park Shin Hye, and it turns out he encountered her back when she was a high school student so theirs might be one of those formerly inappropriate crushes that have turned just fine with the passage of time. I’ll reserve judgment on the backstory but definitely love their present day adult chemistry and interactions, Kim Rae Won’s piercing intensity matching well to Park Shin Hye’s now grown up sophistication.
