@pyoyong I was surprised to see my name tagged in the post with bolded 'fake' words. I thought for a second someone was accusing me of being fake here. LOL.. Btw read through your post, some of her posts were suspicious but i feel dumb not to notice her username before. I'm not going to question or make assumption of her motive but thanks for highlighting that because at least now i can differentiate between trolls' comments and the real moonlighters' comments.

'Love in the Moonlight' reigns over TV chart

 

SEOUL, Sept. 27 (Yonhap) -- "Love in the Moonlight," a period drama loved for its sweet romance between the young protagonists, took the top spot on a TV popularity chart for the third straight week, data showed Tuesday.

The KBS series, starring rising actors Park Bo-gum and Kim You-jung, has become the latest buzzword on social media, thanks in large part to female viewers' growing attachment to Park's endearing character.

The 23-year-old plays Crown Prince Lee Yeong of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), who falls in love with a woman disguised as a eunuch (Kim).

In the third week of this month, the drama topped the Content Power Index (CPI) with 286.1 points, maintaining its lead for the third straight week.

The index, developed by entertainment company CJ E&M and media ratings company Nielsen Korea, measures the popularity of TV shows based on the number of views of related news stories, keyword searches and mentions in social media.

In second place was the all-time favorite variety show "Infinite Challenge" with 262.5 points, followed by the SBS series "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" with 250.1 points.

Despite a star-studded cast, which includes Lee Joon-gi and IU, "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" has so far fallen behind its rival in the same time slot, "Love in the Moonlight," in terms of viewership and popularity ratings.

Coming in fourth was the sci-fi drama "W," which ended the same week after earning 230.5 points. The MBC singing competition show "The King of Mask Singer" took sixth place with 218.8 points.

Ratings For “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” And “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” Go Up

The latest ratings for “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” and “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” have been revealed!

On September 27, Nielsen Korea released the ratings for the Monday-Tuesday dramas, revealing that KBS2’s “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” rose up to 20.7 percent ratings, a 1.1 percent increase from its previous rating of 19.6 percent.

SBS’s “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” also saw an increase in ratings with 7.1 percent, a 0.9 percent increase from its previous viewership rating of 6.2 percent.

And finally, MBC’s new drama “Woman With A Suitcase” aired its first episode this week, and received 6.9 percent ratings.
