Is anyone wathcing "Introverted Boss"? Ye Ji-Won plays in it, she plays a mother of two who works and gets a bit overwhelmed. She is married but her husband works too. In episode 10, she gets a phone call from one of her sons' school but she left the phone on her office desk while she is having lunch. Boss looks at it beucase it keeps ringing. We see a photo of her family as a background image on her phone and her husband is.... Kim Ji-Suk!!!!!!!!! Ha ha ha ha! I thought it was a great little reference to OHYA!

Oh Hae Young intrigues me because the drama has so many interesting elements.

Haha..... there won't be any real relationship about the couple. Just read the news that Eric is dating and going to get married to another woman in real life. So OHYA is going to pass into oblivion as the excitement of this drama gives way to Eric's real wedding. I'll have a last hurray here before I move on. I have some more stuff to finish off.

Perhaps we meet again in another drama?

To be honest I wanted AMO to touch one million views. You know it would have happened soon because fans dropped in daily averaging 600 to 700 .

THE BEAUTIFUL WORLD OF AMO COUPLE HAS LOST IT'S MAGIC FOR ME

THIS IS WHAT BUSTED MEANS ( BY DISPATCH OF COURSE )

SO DISENCHANTED.. !

PARK DO KYUNG characterised by Eric is no longer the same man with the melting eyes and a passion to love the woman of his life and to live well with her. That, and also his fascinating job of being attuned to the nuances of sounds as sound director. So cool. But all that has burst.

Since the announcement of his dating and soon to be married to a real woman, there is a need to disconnect him from Park Do Kyung. PDK is believable as sensitive, caring and romantic ( in the later part ) only when Eric was unattached but now it one must remember that Park Do Kyung is not the personification of Eric. He is a fictitious character in a drama played out well by good acting. The kissing scenes are fabrications.

Well, anyway it is a good drama and no regrets in watching it multiple times. I love the wedding. Haha... it's all imagery. ( knock myself on the head ) Wish it didn't happen and that it's an open ending. Perhaps he died from the premonition as was in the visions. Then we'll be less foolish to be sucked into the pretence. Sigh !!!

But it's time to bid farewell. I'll indulge in a few more postings of the make believe scenes ( kissing ones, what else....!! ) before I get stone cold.

Yep, I feel as disillusioned as the falling red petals. True time to move on. Let me spazz on my fave couple Rain and KTH.

BOTH SERVED THEIR PURPOSES IN THE DRAMA

YOU SEE....

The problem with fans is that they fell in love with THE WRITER'S CREATION OF THE BEAUTIFUL ROMANTIC MALE. ( Me me me too. )  Writers have the skills to make the male lead in a drama the embodiment of the alpha male; sensitive, caring, sweet, heroic, sensitive , romantic, strong, great physical appearance... haha . Throw in a damsel for him to demonstrate all his charms and his strength and voila .... a hit drama and the male actor is alleviated to the heavenlies, to stardom.

Alright, we hear a lot of noise in this forum ... OHYA related. Hmmmnnn ..... hurling sounds !! I sympathize with many of them.

So we fell for Park Do Kyung and that also because Seo Hyung Jin is such a fine actress that she brought life to the characters. Actually she carried the show with her enormous talent. Eric lent his good looks to PDK . He just acted out the writer's fantasy. 

Eric is an actor , a singer , a CEO who finished the drama with success. So now the drama is over and he received the King of the Rom Com title , he is best left to his devices. I have no more interest in him or his love life.

I enjoyed AMO a lot, but I can also leave PDK since he is happily married to lovely fictitious OHY.  They made us so happy so we have no complaints, only happy memories.

See? I can now leave both characters, the real and reel , and treat myself to the next captivating drama that comes along, complete with imaginary handsome male and powerful female cast.

Viewers of this summer's surprise hit Another Oh Hae Young quickly fell in love with the leading couple and their stirring romance. The two stars, Eric Moon and Seo Hyun Jin, had so much chemistry with each other that a significant kiss scene was even filmed in one take. Now let's see what Eric, nicknamed "Kiss Master," reveals about his favorite kisses in the drama.

 

SPOILER ALERT: The kiss scenes discussed here take place in episodes 9 and 13, in case you haven't watched them yet. 

1. The first kiss comes with the most impact.

Their first kiss is also the most popular kiss of the romantic drama. It arrived in the 9th episode, and the two stars were able to finish it in one take, without NG, despite the pressure.

Although the audience was prepared to see the couple get together at this time of the story, the powerful kiss scene still caught viewers by surprise.

Let's take a look at the video and then see what Eric says about this kiss scene.

Eric said, "The first kiss scene in the drama was in Episode 9. It was a late one, and it was an intense point in the drama where a lot of pent up emotion was released at once, so I was really happy when I saw it in the script." 

“When [the scene finally came around], I was worried because I thought it would be too difficult. Director Song Hyun Wook told us he wanted minimal cuts, and a dirty, no-holds-barred fight between a man and a woman, so Seo Hyun Jin and I made a couple of promises to each other beforehand, and we shot the scene in one take," continued the handsome actor who played the brooding sound specialist Do Kyung, who fell in love with Oh Hae Young (Seo Hyun Jin) despite his best resistance.

Eric also revealed that he and Seo Hyun Jin couldn’t wait to watch the scene during the broadcast.

2. The reunion kiss heals the broken hearts.

This kiss came after the couple broke up. They loved each other dearly, but the obstacles seemed too high to cross, until Do Kyung made one last effort.

Eric explains why he loves this kiss scene: “One of my personal favorites is the scene where Hae Young runs to me in front of the hospital and kisses me. I was the one to take the lead for the wall kiss and the ‘grilled clam’ kiss scene, and this was one where Hae Young initiated the kiss and the emotion. Seo Hyun Jin acted beautifully, and with sincerity.”

“From the point where the background music stops, showing a closeup on Hae Young’s shoes, all the way to the kiss, it was such an emotional scene. Since we went so strong at the start with the wall kiss, all the skinship scenes that followed were natural and comfortable.”

(The "grilled clam" kiss was even Eric's idea.)

 

Eric has now been nicknamed "Kiss Master" because of the popular kisses in this drama. But he gives all the credit for the success of the drama to his leading lady Seo Hyun Jin, saying that she brought the charming character of Oh Hae Young to life.

He said, "Her acting is that good, and she was so bright on set. Even if she had a lot of lines, and even if she didn’t sleep the night before, she brought a great energy to the set. She’s a jewel.”

We agree! The two stars have made Another Oh Hae Young such a special romance that it's worth savoring now and again.

The last clip you posted is nostalgic . It looked 100 % . However the feels of the drama was marred on TvN Awards Night resulting in zero per cent. 

 I love Award Nights of my favourites, Yong Pal, Iris, SS etc... The atmosphere is always charged with glamour, excitement and fun. I love it when the actors play gentlemen and are gracious to their co-actress. They hold their partners on their arms or at their backs to guide them up the stairs to the stage. It is called professionalism, protocol and etiquette, status withstanding. I hope Romantic Doctor Awards Night is not lacking and Seo Hyun Jin is accorded the appreciation.

I'm still brooding over TVN delaying my AMO/AOHY blu ray, they better not delay it anymore else I might just give up and change my mind....just saying...but bec its such a significant drama project for SHJ I'm still hanging on.

Yes the feel of the drama is 100% because that's what they do, they are professional actors doing their job.  AMO/AOHY is an awesome drama, that will not change.

You haven't watch SBS awards night? you should.

For now, i will be taking a break like HJ hahaha..yes yes holiday coming up.

Aawwww...... you ladies got me. Thank you. What happened was shortly after you posted I was denied access to Soompi by code 503 service unavailable so with the time freed up I checked out both Chief Kim and Introverted Boss simultaneously. Not kidding,   but Introverted Boss intrigued me, a lot,  and no .... it wasn't the steamy scene in episode 11 which is  my entry point.  .... hahaha... That's TRUE , because of lack of the backstory progression I wasn't warmed up to the bathroom kiss. 

Anyway I was like....... Oh my,  is AMO having a squeal ? So many AMO supporting casts swarming the Boss drama. Ye Ji Won is good as a harassed mother in Boss but in AMO her acting and character is sharp and superior. AMO parents pale too in Boss. They were fantastic in AMO. Then I spied PDK's screen brother, now a sarcastic office employee in Boss. He's very good there. Kudos to him for bringing out the character. Then last scene ........ LOL LOL .... it's Ye Ji Won AMO screen husband  and now still still married but with two children...... ( though scruffy somewhat )  heeee... !! Yes, the funny doctor transferred over too.

Of course PD is still the same so is the station TvN. So many coincidences to not mistake it for AMO's sequel except OHYA  Other characters are from Yong Pal ( Park Hye Soo and the psychiatrist )

FINALLY..... the BOSS, Yeon Woo Jin. He's from AMO too, episode 7. I didn't like him at all in AMO as the sneaky lawyer. Didn't like his looks or his character ( going to rewatch that scene though to reconsider my view ) However He's amazing in Boss. Absolutely love the way his character is played out by YWJ. Putting him in my 5-stars list solely on his superb acting. ( better than PDY's . Ducking to avoid being hit.... Was that a flying missile from his fans ? ) 

@supergal99 you're right...... the lawyer in AMO and his boss was JS is sooooo  COOL in Boss ( good kisser, great acting and smart but flawed ) though he was annoying in AMO....

 

So many coincidences to not mistaking it for AMO sequel, except that AMO was such a hit because of superior acting especially from Seo Hyun Jin and interesting story.

In the course of watching Boss ( bingeing 4 episodes a night ... ah yes losing sleep again ) I read a lot of comments regarding AMO.  All that reminiscing and accolades got the attention of newbies who wanted to watch AMO too ) So I might carry on AMO to cater to late comers. Who knows it may hit 1 million viewers. Also @angel2013 will be getting her blu-ray DVD in March and I hope she will share here.

Righttt.... I shall transfer myself to Introverted Boss thread and maybe Chief Kim. STEAM here I come though WALL is passionate too.

Eh...... I did watch SBS streaming too .< Slaps head , how the heck I forgot >  I was online at the streaming and was so excited at the wins. HSK for Daesang and SHJ and YYS excellent awards. I even popped over to Moonlovers thread to read their disappointment that Lee Joon Ki did not win top excellence . However in Legends thread, they were jubilant that Lee Min Ho won.

And these two are still married with children in Boss..... ( somebody has a sense of humour ) Se Kung changed to a being a mother who fusses over everyone. ) In AMO, her subordinate ran helter skelter when the warning was sounded of her impending appearance. Like alllthese comedic scenes.

BED SCENE ?

Naw ...... but this episode is interesting because OHY2 returned to PDK's life . All his bottled up pain, anger, hurt and resentment were unleashed and he went into a drinking mode to drown his now exposed feelings.

PD made the scene hilarious with OHY struggling to carry him to bed ,  threw him onto the bed with her weight on him ( because he was drunk heavy ), undressed him ( aikkks.... she did not, heh.... my fantasy... ) tugged at shoes to get them off, then she overshot herself and fell off but later climbed back onto the bed. While deciding to take a breather, she lay on the bed and then PDK thumped his leg across her body.... That is one funny scene , a sort of comic relief, after the angry scene when he smashed his fists through the car window. Poor repressed PDK ..... !! Hid his pain all this while.

Those who are now starting to watch his drama will get a kick out of this scene

UNEASY ROMANCE

This is one of the lesser known OST, Uneasy Romance. The music director made a good choice of theme and mood setting. The first meeting of DK and OHY1 is uneasy. They were EN ROUTE when their paths crossed.  It is foreboding, tensed, mysterious , dark , painful and longing as the slow pace deliberately let the vision give off a surreal feeling. The music quickens as romance progresses.

It is Se Kyung's flashback of the boyfriend she adored. She did a well executed Koala hug on him . But he was a rat. So she's always drunk and crazy.

Another great catchy tune. French is such a sexy language. The duet sounds so intimate . The lilting musics feels lively , lovers come alive on a beautiful summer's day. They bask in the sunshine and bask in happiness.

Korean fans have gotten their hands on the director's cut DVD//Blu ray! some lucky ones got signatures from either Eric or Seo Hyun Jin. I hope I'm the lucky one to get Hyun Jin's signature! Anyway I'm still waiting for my package but @lavender2love they prohibit any distribution of any kind relating to the DVD/BR...they wrote it in black and white and have it posted before everyone got their copies, otherwise we get sued  looks like we can't share the goodies here except for the front cover of the box  I just hope I get mine safely by next week. So sorry Koalas, unable to share about the director's cut even when I get my hands on it. LoL even the review of the DVD/BR is limited to general words...we can't give detailed descriptions even. Sigh....

Guys ...................... I'm bacccckkkkkkk !! Was barred from soompi for quoting images in spoiler in Introverted Boss on March 16 by a junior moderator eager for a first head scalp. I vowed not to come back to drama land..... in fact I gave up all Korean dramas for 2 and a half months and went bonkers over the political landscapes with so much time gained from not watching Korean dramas. Real life in politics is more dramatic than fantasy Kdrama ... that I can say. Totally gripping .
