I searched 20 Pages to find this - I put all my hope in the written Preview... and I love it! Now I can wait to see it a bit more at ease. Even so - I will not able to watch on Air today - or just the half Episode.

Hi, chingus ,  I think WY becoming  the 3rd King of Goryeo mainly  because  of his mother who keep pushing him to be throne. King  Teajo   never mentioned about WY  will become  king of Goryeo. But somehow , WY doesn't  have the ability  to rule the nation, could be killed by someone  or got diseases ....

@Hanazumi I am actually surprised about KHN. At first i had doubt about his acting but now i am convinced that he can act. LJG is a historical drama veteran so he mastered already how to move and act in such character. But i am still in awe whenever i see a scene where he switch facial expressions and emotions. Well, an actor of his caliber can easily do that but certainly not all actors can. What i really love about him when he is acting in historical dramas is when he is riding a horse, the way he carries himself is love.

The rating for episode 12 was 7.9% (+.04 increase). The views in China reached 1.4 billion. I'm sure the views in other countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Japan also increase too. Thailand will be airing Moon Lovers soon.

I know. KHN is finding different roles to act and to challenge himself. I love that. I remember when I watched Time Between Dog and Wolf and Iljimae, I was so obsessed with LJG. I even made fanarts of him back then.

According to AGB Nielsen, the rating of ep 12 is 7.9% and MLSHR is the only drama that witnessed an increase in its rating (ratings of the other two dramas which were aired at the same time dropped a bit).

Just have to say these. Ljk is so pretty. That scene when they said goodbye and he stole the kiss. He was prettier then iu for god sake. 

Not pretty as in he was like a woman or anything, no mistaking it, you see him as a man. But the prettiest  man 

Cant be good for a girl's heart to see that face up close. For hs to keep rejecting those eyes and smile, i honestly dont feel it's a physical possibility.

As for looking like a nutcase, I don't think anyone of us is all that sane at the moment -- call it MLSHR effect. Last night, I was live-streaming the drama while on train, muttering and giggling to myself quite loudly it seems. Cuz by the time I looked up, people sitting across me were trying their best not to meet my eyes.

Episode 12: Wook and Soo

The encounter between them occurred 1 year after she was sent to Gyobang. He did not get to say goodbye to her and then he didn't go and visit her until a year later. Why? The guilt that he was unable to do anything for her consumed him. He could not bring himself to face her. And when he did all that he could do was look at her with tears in his eye. 

An interesting thing is that his position as the controller has not changed. He stays standing and she has to get up to talk to him. I can't help but think that is this was So he would have knelt down to greet her and talk to her. Just wanted to throw that out there.

She is of course surprised that he came and happy to see him. He asks her how her leg is and she responds "Only when I work too long or I am by the water. I am alright." This is basically her saying that she is constantly in pain as she works all day AND by the water. To me because she fell in love with him first she is expecting a response which is similar to what So had given her. I feel like she wants to hear that he is worried about her and that he is going to get her out of here. 

"Did you miss me? Even once? Did you ever miss me?" 

After a whole year and finally seeing each other again this is what she wondered. Why did it take so long for him to come see her? Was he even thinking of her all this time? His response is simple.

"Every day. I longed for you every moment."

"That's all I need."

This was the response she wanted to hear. It was all she wanted. Something so small from Wook and she was happy. I guess her heart is still with him. However to me Wook is only saying this. As we are well aware Wook is more focused on the throne now. That's his first priority now, not Soo. I mean initially when she leaves without saying good bye you can see the absolute despair and pain. But as time passed I feel like he knew that in order to get her back he would need more power thus his focus shifted towards the throne. Now that his focus is on the throne I feel like he will be blinded by that and Soo will just become a distant memory. My god having to say that is really hard. Here is why I think this.

When him and his sister were talking about him being a shadow of Yo his dark and calculating demeanour really scared me. He is smart and we know that but as due to all events that have occurred we can see he is quite conniving. Even more so than Yo. He thinks before he acts and puts himself in the best position possible. He basically is sacrificing his sister to get where he wants and the smile he gives her man that gave me chills.

I really think Lady Oh's words are haunting him. And he can't even suppress the fact that he is feeling burdened, he has to just let it out. And after saying this he turns to leave because we see the tears spilling from his eyes. Which made me realise Wook has never actually cried in front of Soo. Maybe my memory doesn't serve me but the time when he was about to he stormed off and went to an isolate area to get himself together. The complexities of Wook. No matter how much I hate him I am thoroughly intrigued by him. Him and So's fight is the most exciting thing for me right now cause I am so over lovey dovey relationships because for some reason they all get turned to s***.

This scene was very well done though. It made the viewer frustrated. At least it made me frustrated. They meet for the first time after 1 year after he turned his back on her. And the first thing she wants to know is if he missed her. UGHHHHHH. The acting by both LJE and KHN was definitely on point. You could see the struggles they had gone through and the pain they were both feeling. All this was shown just through their teary eyes. I just cannot deal RN.

Interesting little bit I noticed during the Queen Y and YH scene when WY picks up the yellow cloth, yellow is symbolic of many positive attributes but it also signifies betrayal and deceit. It indicates to WW and YH double betrayal of WY as we have the scene of Wook and YH colluding to stay in WY shadow and YH seeking marriage to Wang So.

So many conspiring and I suppose it is inevitable that the conniving and devious characters also experience what they have sownm.

Am I the only one who happy to see the progress in ep 12? My friends all failed to see the microexpression of Soo. Maybe because I watched many historical dramas last time. So I can feel why they make certain decisions in life. Esp for a girl like Soo. She still has a bit of her 21st-century self when she wanna fight back when the other water maids bullied her. When she saw the king dying and that remind her of her grandfather. When she started having the panic attack when she realized the king knew she is not from their era and she is the same as Ji Mong a time traveler.

I suspected Ji Mong is the one who said So born under the star of a king. That same night So gets the scar, CP was there. So those people who were there know about it. At least some of my theories turned out to be true after paying attention to their microexpression and how the king hinted So that he is to be king yet So is stubborn (a teenage boy, after all, he suppose to only be 17-18 here) to throw all away because of Soo.

Tonight I will be eagerly waiting for the live recap here.

All I can say after I've watch ep.12 with subtitles is that she love Wang So. First rejection was after she find out that he was send away by the king in a long mission because of her. She knew that he wants to stay in the palace and the king force him to go. She reject him because she was afraid for his live, to not be punished again because of her, because she loves him. When he comes back she felt his presence because she loves him. The second rejection came after she already had spoken with the king. She already knew that she can't marry him, that she can't change the future, that she can't leave with him because he must be the king. He can't become king if he marries her. She will support him and she will be beside of him because she loves him. For now, she is clinging desperately to the word “friendship” because she knows that she loves him and she's afraid to suffer again. But she will not be able to avoid this love and after all, she would become his, because she loves him.

The Chinese version is a different story. A different 8th prince, A different 4th prince, A different HS ie Rouxi. 

Different love story between 8th prince and RX.
Different love story between 4th prince and RX.
Different friendship development between RX and 10th prince/13th prince/14th prince.
Different progress from bitter enemies to steadfast friends between RX and 10th prince's wife.

BBJX's RX already ended her relationship with 8th prince clearly {in clearly spoken words, actions, return of the bangel, also RX told her sister and her friends 13th & 14th of her decision}  before she officially started with 4th prince. 4th prince was RX's true love in both novel and C-version. Towards the end, 8th went to 4th to describe the details of their romance including how he courted RX for years, how RX accepted him, their first kiss etc. His purpose is to anger 4th into releasing RX from palace. 4th was mad with jealousy but he still loves RX and he continued to spy on her when she was living as 14th's concubine.

Scarlet Heart is inspired by BBJX. That's all.

yeah me too. My life is not the same anymore. My daily routine dedicated solely for Moon Lover or SoSoo couple to be precise. Every morning before  I start working and in betwen my work I will browse soompi/ this thread to fill my hunger of SoSoo couple. To see if there are any new BTS, pics etc etc. Sigh!!  I wish this drama end quickly. I cannot live like this anymore. My heart cannot take it any longer
