it has been decided that actor kim ji suk (33 yrs. old, real name: Kim Bo-seok) will be in the drama AE (title not yet decided).

according to someone connected to the drama, KJS will be one of the main characters in the new SBS weekend drama AE that is scheduled to air this coming april. a person connected to the drama secretly said, "we are in the midst of recording the childern's parts right now. the adults' parts are scheduled to be seen after the 3rd episode (????? - not sure what the japanese part is trying to say here so i could be wrong). KJS will act against the couple LSY and GHS in the drama. AE marks the drama comeback of KJS since 7 months when the SBS weekend drama 「wonderful mama」ended last september.

AE is a drama about a couple who separated due to family strife and meets again 12 years later.

the writer Yoon Ji-ryun who wrote 「boys over flowers」 and the PD choi moon-suk who directed「something happened in Bali」 and 「will it snow for christmas?」 will pair up together for AE. AE will replace 「the woman who married three times」.

OMG...I was so excited about this...and then...and then...Ku Hye-Sun.  Depression set in.  Everyone else in this show seemed exciting even the change ups were interesting.  But once they cast KHS, my gut twisted.  I don't hate her...I just hate her acting guys.  For everyone else, enjoy the show.  I'll check back to see if she backs out of it.

Hello everyone! Lol! Funny GHS has that effect on some people. Poor GHS she get bashed already even if she has not confirmed yet. Well I don't mind if she won't come back. I don't want her to get depressed.

배우 이상윤이 ‘엔젤아이즈’ 출연을 확정지었다.


27일 이상윤의 소속사 제이와이드컴퍼니는 “비쥬얼과 연기력을 겸비한 이상윤이 SBS 새 주말특별기획 ‘엔젤 아이즈’ 주인공으로 캐스팅됐다”고 밝혔다.


‘엔젤 아이즈’는 아픈 가족사 때문에 첫 사랑을 떠나보낸 남녀 주인공이 12년 후 재회 하면서 벌어지는 가슴 찡한 멜로드라마다.


이상윤은 ‘엔젤 아이즈’에서 남자 주인공 박동주 역을 맡았다. 박동주는 학창 시절 전교 1등을 놓쳐 본적이 없는 우등생. 또한 소방관 아버지를 자랑스럽게 여기며 애초부터 타고난 고운 심성으로 다른 이의 아픔을 더 잘 살필 줄 아는 자상한 남자다. 


또한 소방관이 되길 꿈꿨던 박동주는 여러 가지 불미스러운 사건의 연속으로 진로가 바뀌며 의대에 진학하게 된다. 이어 자신의 운명 또한 바뀌게 되는 상처가 많은 캐릭터다.


이상윤은 “의사역할이 처음이고 해보고 싶었던 장르다. 첫 사랑의 여인을 옆에서 바라보며 지켜주는 해바라기 같은 남자의 모습과 자신에게 닥친 수많은 시련을 극복하며 열심히 살려고 하는 동주의 모습을 잘 표현할 수 있도록 열심히 준비하고 있다”고 밝혔다.

한편 ‘엔젤 아이즈’는 ‘야왕’과 ‘유령’을 공동연출하며 연출력을 인정받은 박신우 감독과 인기드라마 ‘꽃보다 남자’를 집필한 윤지련 작가가 대본을 맡았다. ‘세 번 결혼 하는 여자’ 후속으로 오는 4월 방송될 예정이다.

Gu Hye Sun Returns on Small Screen with New Drama ‘Angel Eyes’


[by Chloe Yun] Actress Gu Hye Sun has confirmed to appear in SBS’ new drama series ‘Angel Eyes (working title).’ Gu comes back on small screen two years after her latest drama ‘Take Care of Us, Captain’ in 2011. Her comeback has got big attention especially because it is her reunion with writer Yoon Ji Ryun, who wrote mega hit drama ‘Boys over Flowers,’ which discovered Gu Hye Sun’s unique charm and potential as an actress.    In the series, Gu Hye Sun will be playing a female lead ‘Yoon Soo Wan,’ a passionate 119 rescue worker. ‘Yoon Soo Wan’ is an easy-going, boyish girl who lives in a sad memory of first love. 
‘Angel Eyes,’ starring Gu Hyu Sun, Jung Jin Young, Gang Ha Nul, and Nam Ji Hyun, is a traditional melodrama about a couple who had to break up due to their family issue and happened to meet again after 12 years. 
Gu Hye Sun said, “It’s been so long since the last TV drama series. I’m so excited and nervous at the same time. To make the scenes look as real as possible, I will thoroughly prepare with rescue training before I start filming.”

Ku Hye Sun Cast as Lead Actress for ‘Angel Eyes’

Ku Hye Sun will be returning to the small screen through drama Angel Eyes (tentative).

Through this project, Ku Hye Sun will be reuniting with writer Yoon Ji Ryun, who wrote KBS 2TV’s Boys Over Flowers. The drama will be directed by Park Shin Woo PD, who directed SBS’s Yawang and Ghost.

Taking the role of ‘Yoon Soo Wan,’ Ku Hye Sun will be acting as an emergency medical technician, who begins to live a new life after gaining eyesight through the transplant surgery.



Ku Hye Sun said, “I’m excited to be taking on a new project in a long time. As I will be a medical technician, I will be fully preparing for the role. The drama will be very realistic, so I’m nervous but I will be doing my best. I wanted to work with writer Yoon Ji Ryun again. I enjoyed filming Boys Over Flowers and have my trust in her. I’m so happy to be working with her again.”

Meanwhile, Angel Eyes will be airing in April.

Lee Sang-yoon has been cast as the leading character of the drama "Angel Eyes".

The new SBS drama "Angel Eyes" is about the reunion of a man and a woman 12-years later after being broken up in pain.
