‘The Return of Superman’ Song Triplets, ‘Everything’s More Fun Together!’

[by Yoonjung Yi] Actor Song Il-gook’s triplets from KBS 2TV’s program ‘The Return of Superman’ touched the hearts of the viewers during its recent episode that aired on November 29. 

Previously, Dae-han, Min-guk and Man-sae visited an amusement park near home. Man-sae was seen comforting a friend that he just met by holding his hands when he seemed afraid of a ride. 

Then, the triplet finally succeeded in riding a ‘pirate ship’, in which they have been afraid for a long time. Min-guk daringly held his hands up and shouted, ‘Man-sae (hurray)!’ and made the viewers smile.

Moreover, they also tried children’s drop tower, which lifts the passengers up high and release them to free-fall vertically. Despite of Song Il-gook’s worry that they might be afraid, the triplets fortunately giggled and enjoyed the ride.

Daebak Wants to Be Your Present

On December 1, pro soccer player Lee Dong Gook’s wife, Lee Soo Jin, posts photos of their youngest son Daebak on the Instagram. Daebak is looking ever so cute wearing a bow on his head.

It’s easy to see his resemblance to his dad, Lee Dong Gook. He looks adorable with his big round eyes and cute chubby cheeks. It looks as though he’s a little shy stroking his head with his hands. 

His adorable expressions are captured in the photos seen through the eyes of his loving mother. Lee Dong Gook’s wife, Lee Soo Jin, adds a comment saying, “His mouth is full of cookies. Daebak is your present.”

Lee Dong Gook is currently appearing on KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” with his five children.

Baek Seo Woo Captures Hearts on “The Return of Superman”

On November 29, actress Jung Si Ah’s daughter Seo Woo made an appearance on “The Return of Superman” with Lee Hwi Jae and the twins.

Seo Woo first caught people’s eye through her mother’s personal Instagram, where the little girl shows off her doll-like looks in various cute clothes and costumes. Many people had expressed interest in seeing Seo Woo on the popular variety program “The Return of Superman.”

Lee Hwi Jae said, “Jung Si Ah and I have been friends since we were young. Recently we met at a wedding and talked about our kids. I said we should eat together sometime.”

In the episode, the two families go to a kids’ cafe. Seo Woo greets the twins cheerfully and runs to Lee Hwi Jae for a hug as soon as she sees him. When the children play, she isn’t shy at all and acts like an older sister when she shares her ice cream with them. She even takes her mother by surprise when she says that Lee Hwi Jae is more fun to play with than her own father.

Throughout the episode, the little girl shows off her many charms, from her sweet, caring personality to her bright smile. After the broadcast, people left comments on Jung Si Ah’s Instagram, saying they enjoyed the broadcast and hope to see the mother-daughter pair again.

Minguk Is Already Keen on Hierarchy and Societal Roles

Pediatric psychiatrist Son Suk Han posted a review of the triplet’s behaviors during the November 25 episode of “The Return of Superman,” and it reveals a lot about how Minguk thinks.

During this episode, the triplets visit their father’s workplace, the filming set of “Jang Young Sil,” and get a sense of what their dad does for a living.

While getting ready to film, Minguk says to the drama producer, “Please take care of my father, director,” and Daehan, Minguk, and Manse respectfully bow to the staff and other actors.

To this, Dr. Son commented, “Thanks to this experience of getting to be a part of their dad’s work, the triplets now know what their father does and understand him more. Therefore, their father-son bonds become tighter.”

He continued, “Minguk said, ‘Please take care of my father, director,’ which shows that Minguk knows where he stands in society and understands the concept of hierarchy.”

not sure abt dr son comment. minggukie as far as i can see is only repeating what his dad told him.to say. to say he understand where he stands may be reading too much into it. Daring minggukie is no doubt a very smart boy and his observation skills is very good.  

i think song appa teaches him to respect the elders and i think it is great! 

in anycase dr son may be a case of lost in translation.

recently a chinese article reported that manse was crying aloud during the drama set. i feel that it as a mistranslation or otherwise an  exerggeration by the chinese press.

Daebak Sees Snow for the First Time and Is Amazed

Lee Dong Gook‘s son Daebak witnessed snow for the very first time!

Today (December 3), Seoul and many other cities in Korea experienced the first proper snowfall of the winter, meaning that pretty much everyone has been glued to their phones to capture the beautiful white blanket of snow on the ground, trees, and buildings.

Like everyone else, Daebak’s mother Lee Soo Jin posted photos of his son enjoying the view from their apartment on her Instagram, much to the delight of “The Return of Superman” viewers.

Staring out of the big window, Daebak seems to be mystified by the magical white fluff. The cute toddler also poses for his mother’s camera, melting followers’ hearts with his adorable round eyes and puffy cheeks.

That's exactly what I thought. These clips only show us the edited versions of what transpired so to conclude this is a little too assuming in my opinion. That's not to say the parents aren't already instilling these values in all three boys anyway.

‘The Return of Superman’ Seo-eon and Seo-jun as Naked Angels!

[by Yoonjung Yi] In the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV’s family show ‘The Return of Suprman’, Seo-eon and Seo-jun twin will make Christmas cards for friends and relatives. 

During filming of the episode, Seo-eon and Seo-jun grasped the viewer’s attention by transforming into nude angels for the Christmas card cover photo. 

On this day, the twin took off their clothes that their father Lee Hwi-jae prepared, and ran around topless in the studio like Adam and Eve. 

Then, Seo-jun became Seo-eon’s personal photographer. As Seo-eon roamed all over the studio, Seo-jun captured every moment of his action in the camera.

Daebak Performs a Bubble Show on “The Return of Superman”

 

 

Daebak shows off an adorable new talent as he creates bubbles with his mouth.

On the October 6 broadcast of the 107th episode of KBS2’s “The Return of Superman,” the ‘Moment I Have Always Waited For’ special will air. In this episode, Daebak shows off his cuteness as he uses his mouth to form bubbles. He moves his mouth side to side before he is able to form a bubble and even responds to his dad’s questions with more bubbles, causing his dad to laugh.

Hearing his dad laugh, Daebak becomes excited and puts in more effort in moving his mouth to form another bubble. He seems to be performing a ‘bubble show’ with his new unique talent, causing much laughter on the show. He makes his family laugh even more as he upgrades his talent and shows that he can make the bubbles smaller then larger all at once.

The 107th episode of “The Return of Superman” will air on December 6 at 4:50 p.m. KST. Don’t miss out on Daebak’s lovable bubble show!
