Screen_Shot_2015-02-27_at_3.36.17_PM.png

There are some fans on the Kim Tan side, but I have to admit that Choi Young Do's relationship with Cha Eun Sang was the thing that really captured me. Choi Young Do was such a complicated character, and his love for her was fascinating to watch. Not to mention that the acting was superb. The photo of him watching her eat...have you ever seen anyone more in love ever?

10 K-drama dresses you'll want in your closet!

by Lauren Jinkerson on Sun, Mar 15, 2015

1. Cha Eun Sang's Red Dress-Heirs

Screen_Shot_2015-03-11_at_10.31.27_AM.pn

This is the ultimate party dress. A perfect shape and colour with the most beautiful detailing. This dress could function as a special occasion dress or a dinner date with friends or loved ones. Although not something to wear every day it would brighten up your closet and encourage you to go to functions where you can pull out this stunner.

9.Rachel Yoo's Blue and Black Dress- Heirs

Screen_Shot_2015-03-11_at_11.07.07_AM.pn

Rachel Yoo's dress in Heirs is more for the trendsetters out there. It's super sculpted lines and detailing mean that it won't flatter every body type out there, but I think the main thing needed with this dress is confidence. If worn with confidence, heads will turn. That blue is also the most perfect blue, so bright and eye catching.

9 K-drama actors who need a starring role

by Lauren Jinkerson on Thu, Mar 26, 2015

When a new K-drama series is announced, one of the most pressing questions is always "who's going to star in it?" Choosing the right actors to play the parts is a crucial element of what makes a drama successful. Sometimes we go on to watch every other show an actor has done because they were so good. Sometimes it's the secondary characters who steal the spotlight, who have us clamoring for more. We wait with bated breath to see if they're going to be the stars of the next big series. This list explores actors who have proven their skills and who we are hoping will jump into that starring role.

3. Kang Min Hyuk — Heirs

Screen_Shot_2015-03-25_at_2.52.16_PM.png

We all know Kang Min Hyuk from CNBlue, but was he able to successfully transition into an actor role? The answer is a resounding yes. He managed to make us all fall in love with him in Heirs, even though he was cast beside huge personalities like Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin. His relationship with Lee Bo Na in the show was so fun to watch, with his ability to tease and play cute. I'd love to see him in a heavier role where his character has to grapple with some difficult life events. Unfortunately, like Lee Yoo Bi, he also turned down a role in School 2015 because it conflicted with his CNBlue schedule.

4 Things only K-drama fans want in their Easter baskets

by Shelly M on Thu, Apr 02, 2015

The Easter bunny needs to come with a basket full of goodies just for you! Easter baskets for children always have their staple surprises like chocolate, jelly beans, and small toys. Kids are overjoyed to receive their special treats months before Halloween and Christmas.

What if they designed Easter baskets especially for K-drama fans? What could possibly make you elated months before the holidays?

Here is a list of the top 4 things that have to be included in that basket.

1. A chocolate figurine that resembles a handsome K-drama actor. Preferably the lead actor, but the second lead can be just as adorable.

Examples:

The 7 best and worst K-drama siblings

by KD Bonbon on Thu, Apr 02, 2015

Interesting family dynamics, especially sibling relationships, are an important element to many K-dramas. The sisters or brothers of main characters can help to round their character out and make them more relatable, likable, or sympathetic. And while some K-drama characters are really lucky with their siblings, others are very unlucky and have a brother or sister who makes you cringe.

Below are 7 of the best and worst K-drama siblings!

The Worst

5. Kim Won - Heirs

Kim_Won.png

While not an objectively bad person, Kim Won, played by the extremely good looking Choi Jin Hyuk, is just not the type of older brother you really want to have. It’s impossible for Kim Tan to have a good relationship with him, which really affects Tan’s view of the world. Kim Won is really only interested in the company and not his family.

4. Heirs, Kang Min Hyuk of CNBLUE and Park Hyung Sik of ZE:A

The_Heirs_-_Korean_Drama-p1.jpg

A worthy successor to the international hit Boys Over Flowers , Heirs follows a group of privileged, elite high school students as they are groomed to take over their families' business empires. These wealthy students seem to have everything under control–except their love lives. Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) is heir to the Empire Group sent to study abroad in the U.S. In reality it's a form of exile, as his elder half-brother back home (Choi Jin Hyuk) schemes to take over the family business. While in the States, Kim Tan bumps into Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye), who's arrived from Korea in search of her older sister. He feels himself falling for her, never realizing that she's the daughter of his family's housekeeper. When his fiancée Rachel Yoo (Kim Ji Won) arrives to bring him back to Korea, his heart is torn between love and duty. Meanwhile, Rachel's half-brother Choi Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) develops his own crush on Eun Sang. Who said being a rich, beautiful high school student was easy?

class="at_ttl"Eight Times That K-Dramas Were Filmed In Another Country

BY Julie Jones | Apr 21, 2015 09:54 AM EDT

The Heirs

K-dramas are a fun way to learn about Korea and check out many of the local attractions before planning a trip there.

But occasionally, k-dramas are also set in other countries. Sometimes they are actually filmed on location but sometimes the drama producers create a set that simulates a recognizable foreign scene.

The two most popular countries to either film in or pretend to film in are the U.S. and Macao.

1. "The Heirs" actually filmed in the U.S., shooting its opening episodes in California. So, California-based k-drama fans can enjoy seeing Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye on their own turf. And they got to see Lee Min Ho surf. Viewers also got to see Los Angeles-from the gritty poor neighborhoods to the beautiful seaside home of Lee Min Ho's young chaebol character.
