Kim Woo-bin, Suzy to reunite in K-drama by 'The Glory' writer: report

 

 

K-drama stars Kim Woo-bin and Suzy are set to reunite in a romantic-comedy series penned by famed screenwriter Kim Eun-sook, according to reports.

 

Production company Hwa & Dam Pictures announced Wednesday that the pair will lead the drama with a title roughly translated as "All Shall Come True," written by Kim Eun-sook, news agency Yonhap reported.

 

Kim Eun-sook is known for a number of hit K-dramas, including "The Heirs," "Descendants of the Sun," "Goblin," and "The Glory."

 

The story reportedly revolves around a woman, portrayed by Suzy, who frees a genie from a lamp, played by Kim Woo-bin.

 

The project will mark the reunion of the two actors, who both starred in the 2016 drama "Uncontrollably Fond."

 

The series is scheduled for release in 2024 though the platform where it can be screened has not been finalized, according to the report.

Although he was only spotted on the day of the premiere during the photo wall, Shin Min Ah seemingly gave hints that they both attended the event… and they might have even been together. Because on June 14, the day after the VIP premiere, Shin Min Ah shared a photo on her Instagram story. The photo was a picture she had taken at the premiere showing the cast of the film and sharing her support for the project. I'm guessing the tone & vibe would be similar to Goblin...........  I'm a fan of him so, surely I've watched their drama together last 7-years ago. That's why, the possibility of them reuniting as onscreen lovers struck me at all.

*** On July 16th, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that Kim Woo Bin donated 100 million won to assist the flood victims. Through his agency, it was revealed that he joined the donation to provide help to those who have suffered significant damage from the concentrated rainfall. This is not the first time that he has made generous donations. He has consistently carried out philanthropic activities, including donating 100 million won to Hope Bridge for the East Coast wildfire victims last year 2022. Hope Bridge stated, “We thank Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah for participating in the donation to support the flood victims who are suffering from distress. Celebrities provide donations to help flood victims

 

Celebrities donated hefty sums to help victims hit by the recent heavy rainfall that killed at least 40 people nationwide.

Relief efforts are underway after unusual torrential rains triggered floods that led to the loss of human life, damage to property and destruction of crops and livestock. The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters reported 40 people dead, nine missing and about 10,608 evacuated from their homes, as of Monday 11 a.m.

 

 

 

 

 

Actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a, a real-life couple who co-starred in tvN's 2022 series "Our Blues," each donated 100 million won to the same association. "My heart goes out to those affected by the floods," Shin said via her agency AM Entertainment.
