Title : Kang Sora, Curiosity Paradise
Reporter : In order to understand the profession of a doctor in your previous work 'Doctor Stranger', I heard that you went to observe how surgeries were done and you even took part in the anatomy dissection as well. So, for this time, I heard that you actually had volunteer yourself to be an intern employee at a trading company in order to get a better understanding of your character in 'Misaeng'. How was it when you got to experience being in a business company environment ?
Kang Sora : I stayed at the office for around 3 days and I sat there observing absent-mindedly. I was thinking that, going for lunch together and having company dinner, that such of things.. I was totally amazed by that. From the culture of handing out business cards and going to work regularly at the same fixed time everyday, just each an every single of such things are somewhat a novelty to me.

Reporter : Have you had any difficulties at all ?
Kang Sora : Surprisingly the most difficult thing for me was to sit still. I found it much harder and uncomfortable when I had nothing to do if no one told me what to do rather than the times when I was busy doing something.

Reporter : That's right. The hardest time when I was a new employee myself was that particular moment too. When I only sat idly, not knowing what I was supposed to do. If you were an ordinary office worker yourself, what kind of character (office worker) you'd be like ?
Kang Sora : Firstly I think I won't be able to do the work where I just need to sit there and work. I think, I would need to run for outside work a little bit, go around to do some sales and do such things like that wouldn't I ? In any case, I wouldn't be a person who sits and works in an office all day long.

Reporter : I was somewhat impressed by your unceasingly bright expression and the way you always like to explore things as soon as you entered the photo shoot set. Have you heard a lot from others saying that you're the 'energizer' type of person ?
Kang Sora : I have a lot of curiosities. It will bore me more if I were to sit still. Haha luckily my profession as an actress is the kind of job that wouldn't bore me so easily. The only thing that might worn me out is the fact that I will always be given new challenges (in terms of new role) for each of different projects I work on. 

Reporter : Lets say that Ahn Yeong-I feels attracted towards Jang Geu Rae who has not much of good spec and qualification. How do you feel about that ?
Kang Sora : Honestly, I don't think spec is important. Aren't things like whether we hit it off well with one another is much more important than the qualification or how much money someone has ? The problem here is that, either me or the other person will feel deprived or useless or even be stricken with a pointless situation where one might feel victimized. If that happens, things will get tough for both of us right ?

Reporter : Do you love your 'now- self ' ?
Kang Sora : I'm satisfied with myself (what I am) today. If I have the chance to exchange myself with someone else, I don't think I will do that. I think that all things that are happening now are going orderly as they supposed to be. Even though bad thing happened, don't you gain a little more self-strength when you manage to get through it ? Before this, because of my pride, I used to think that being strong means I shouldn't whine in front of other people. But now, when I'm having a hard time, I will talk frankly about it and seek for support and I think I learned the knack on how to escape myself out from that misery/trouble."

Kang So Ra and Oh Sang Jin to host the '2014 Korea Drama Awards'  September 25, 2014

The actress' agency Will Entertainment stated on September 25, "Kang So Ra has been appointed as the MC for the '2014 Korea Drama Awards." The 7th annual 'Korea Drama Awards' will be held in Jinju, Gyeongsangnamdo on October 1 and will celebrate the network and cable dramas of the past year.

Kang So Ra shared, "I am really thankful that I was given this good opportunity. Although it will be my second time hosting an awards ceremony, I am still thrilled and nervous. As much as it's a meaningful, congratulatory event, I will do my best so I ask for a lot of support."

Kang So Ra is also starring in the upcoming tvN remake drama 'Miseng', which premieres on October 17.
