I want to know too, probably it will be revealed later? So far I only guess that Taepyung's brother had passed away and something must had happened.  There must be a reason for Taepyung was not happy she appears? Maybe she left Hee-rae and her husband for something?
I'm also curious to know how Taepyung got lost/abandoned from his real family, is his real father aware of his existence, and how come the wife knows about him? what connection with Chun Gyungsool ajusshi, was he a servant of Taepyung's family long time ago, hehehe

hi im new here,i didnt expect to like this drama as much as i do now i just love it the story is good single man with kids is interesting ,dongwan acting was always great i noticed him when he was in SG wannabe mv and i loved his younger husband skit lol,taepyung is my fav character but i like the others too especially Heerae and the female lead woogyung, my fav moment is the whole blind date scene especially the dressing up part hehe

oh and the ost hoonlyyy love~<3

I'm with semi-fly that it's not a typical character of k-drama but from the beginning it shows warm-hearted story. The "Kim's family" even thicker than blood.

Hm, is there a possibility that actually Heerae and Taepyung are not related by blood at all? or her father and Taepyung have the same mother but different father?
I think this drama has a lot of potential story line, so maybe daily drama is suitable for more story can be develop.  I think this drama is refreshing and giving positive/good feeling vibe. Cheerful and loving family. Hopefully can appeal to more wider audience - teenagers issues, etc... It's untraditional but it exists in real life...
After watching Taepyung & Hokyung, part of me wanted something could happen between them? maybe Hokyung one-sided love? But I'm certain it won't happen, hehehe
It reminded me of a Hongkong daily drama years ago, "Kindred Spirit".  It focus on family and the problems they faced in their lives. But that drama was too long, it's more like soap opera, so the story got weird after sometime.
@chubby^green^  it's faster at your place, then!  I checked out Moon and Stars for You as well, to see where they at. I don't want to miss it I'm hoping to see the teaser on tv as well

semifly, yes it's def. refreshing and what a heartwarming change of genre for us the audience but KBS is def. taking a risk because this is the timeslot where they get their #1 drama rating and they haven't had real competition in a long time and it's theirs to give away. the dramas in this timeslot pretty much never dip under 20% and it can go in the 40% if the story attracts enough audience. but usually this timeslot, the stories fall into two types: 1. poor girl or poor boy works hard and meets a rich boy or girl and face objection but ultimately their love conquers all. or 2. the succession of heir in congomerate family. so for KBS to bring in something new is shocking. it means they really belive in the cast, the director and probably the writer. she's someone very capable and knows how to balance delicacy and seriousness in a believable plotline. 
as for Taepyeong and Heerae. yeah i tink in the end they may not be blood-related at all. so that may contribute to the core story. they are family no matter what.
