I'm not sure if any of you goes to Yawang thread. Its really intense there. Luv the exchanges of opinions. I hope you don't mind if I post my rants over here too. Queen of Ambition is making us nuts! 
After reading all POVs, I'm getting to understand all angles and perspective, except for one (peace). Here's my recap: 1. DH stabbing Stepfather could have been self-defense. She told HR that she will take responsibility for his death. HR refused and came up with a story that it was him who killed him. Eventually, they BOTH DECIDED to bury the dead body. 2. DH told HR that she won't go to the university and will work instead. HR offered to pay for her tuition and told her all she had to do was go to school. (HR decided on this one) 3. 5 years had passed, DH and HR had Eun Byul. HR hid the fact that he works as an escort from DH. (In real life, DH could have worked part time and help HR...but this is drama land). 4. BDH met DH at the subway train and was smitten. (not DH's fault) 5. DH found out about HR's nightly gig. (HR was lying all along. DH found HR to be filthy and tainted...She can't settle for less, she only deserves the best... Now, DH was embarrassed to be seen with HR at the office---on this one, I truly believe DH loves herself first, self-preservation...it's probably not love she felt for HR but obligation...however, DH was hurt more by the lies...she's definitely not thinking of HR's sacrifices...someone mentioned HR became a doormat) 6. BDK fired DH for thinking that she has a relationship with her dearest BDH. (To DH, this was totally unfair...Arawni said DH was pushed to the corner, her instinct was to fight for survival) 7. To get back at BDK, DH used BDH. (DH decided and chose this route...she figures, HR can't do much for me---again, self-preservation...to people looking in, this is an evil deed---using people who loves you and manipulating them...but in DH's mind, it's a way for her to survive.) 8. DH asking HR to finance her studies in America. (HR's truly a fool for falling for this...it's like fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...HR could have chosen to say NO, but he didn't---again, not DH's fault) 9. DH decided to break up with HR and be with BDH (DH's securing her future and Eun Byul's future...harsh reality for HR...seriously, he didn't see that coming??? HR should have heeded bar owner's advice that money changes people...that's reality) 10. HR agreeing to go to jail instead of DH. (HR had a choice---he could have ratted DH out, as he was doing in the beginning...but he succumbed to DH's deal because of Eun Byul's future...as any good father would , right?) 11. EB's death was an accident. (It could have been prevented...yes, as someone mentioned, it can happen in real life too) 12. JW's death was also an accident. (DH as an accomplice for knowing what happened...for DH, there's really no turning back...She's already in deep $h1t anyway, might as well go all the way...again, survival instinct.) 13. BDK refusing DH and BDH's marriage. (DH's sees this again as unfair treatment; she had done everything to be worthy of the Baek clan and yet, she's still not good enough...that's why DH had to resort to blackmail...that's the only way BDK would budge.) 
Of course, this drama isn't flawless. But you have to agree, it's very engaging. It makes you think critically. DH's childhood hasn't been explored much, there's probably more to it besides the abuse. What's the angle with step brother? It was mention in the beginning that he also went to jail...did he go to jail for DH? Someone said DH attaches herself to anyone (HR, BDH, Aunt Jimi, Step Brother, Chang Hak) who can offer her protection-I agree on this assessment.

Ok guys, I was merely being a devil's advocate on my long post. It wasn't a reflection of how I truly feel. Here's the romanticized version: 1. If DH truly loved HR, she would have helped him. For example, to repay him for all the things he had done, DH should have helped him realize his dream. Ahjumma mentioned HR saving to becoming---I forgot what. But he certainly doesn't want to be a hired help for long. 2. Being an escort to be able to provide for family or have money for school was not a new concept. I know one person who had done this because he needed money for school and tuition for his siblings. He kept it a secret from his family who lives far away. Now, he's a successful businessman, drives a fancy car and have a great family... When DH found out about HR's nightly gig, she didn't have to say she knows about it, but she can tell him to stop and find another job. Just be grateful for all the years HR had been slaving for her to go to school. 3. As for DH getting fired, she could find another rival company and take it to the top. At the same time, showing BDK what she lost because of her personal feelings. 4. Being poor, coming from a dysfunctional and abusive family is definitely not an excuse to be using and manipulating people. If this was the only way to get to the top, then it's a big slap to all the billionaires, actors and actresses who work hard to be a success. With DH's persistence, determination and intelligence, she would have made it anyway. But in a cynical world, maybe not. 5. Seriously, is there an HR to be found in the real world? If there is, we know what happens to them in the end, right? 6. There is no secret that doesn't get revealed. DH killing stepfather would have been found anyway. DH's first instinct to report to police was the right thing to do. 7. Going to America to study yes. Going to America to get a man, NO! DH definitely has a concept of right or wrong. It's just that circumstances keeps her from doing things right. If a person doesn't have a foundation to know what's morally right, then they won't know what' s the right thing to do. Then again, what's moral to me may not be moral to you. So, it comes down to choices. We all have a choice. We all have to take responsibilities for all our actions. However, we shouldn't judge another person's life unless we know what their real journey was like. Let that be a moral story for all of us.  ^^

fantast1ksuae : wow you can be a movie analyst, i guess HR pushes DH too much to attain her ambitions, up to the extent of not thinking right anymore, HR uses his heart while DH uses her mind, they are definitely opposite in their thinking, but  i agree with what you said that circumstances keep her from doing right, bad events always come out, her plan is to use people to get her ambition and not to kill, but accidents happened on her case, and i also believe that lucks come to her without even trying, like BDH madly falling for her, finding out BDK's secret, she is just a quick thinker that make things easier for her to get out of trouble, i think her fainting during her wedding was just a drama.  Actually HR could have really stop the wedding by showing the clippings during the wedding ceremony itself, he was just giving HR the time to think of ways to get out of trouble. For me, instead of hating HR for her evil doings, i "hate" the people around her for acting it slow, imagine HR against everyone and yet they can't pin her down....on a lighter mode, good luck on your work...fighting !!!

@Hiyaya-Iguana Soap: I went to YT and looked up DBSK...WOW! These guys are handsome. The Mickey guy looked familiar, I've seen him somewhere...is he the same actor on the drama with a scandal on the title? with Park Min Young? Is he the same guy in I miss you? I  like Jaejoong too. I was browsing the videos and came across the JYJ group...its the same guys except from Changmin and Yunho...that was sad how they broke up as a group...so, Changmin and Yunho are still on the same entertainment company...does that mean their contract is that harsh? as the JYJ has been saying? That was really sad... the companies contracts are brutal if its true...
@cocomhe: happy weekend! at first I was mad at DH for doing that to HR...but then, I put myself in her shoes...seems like she's just really trying to survive in this cruel world...in DH's mind, she really didn't ask anyone to take care of her...all she wants is to go to school...like you said, she's a very lucky girl...as HR puts it, she can get away with anything...can't wait for the next episodes.

fantast1ksuae: Very well said and analyzed, dear. Even though you can’t do the spoilers, I’d love to read your thoughts on each episode. I visit Yawang thread only twice a week to get torrent files from semi-fly, so I don’t read any comments there. Please keep sharing here too. I really appreciate it. I’m  sorry for not sharing any thoughts on Yawang lately. It’s just I don’t have time due to my super busy life.

I don’t know if you notice that Da Hae never cries so hard. She just lets her few tears out but never cries out loud like Seo Yeon in Thousand Day Promise. It’s like she doesn’t want to show her weak side and try to survive on her own by keeping her sadness inside her. But from her eyes, I still feel that she feels sorry. Just my two cents.

Yeah, she wears hair extensions on Yawang. It will take a long time for her hair to grow back. I think it’ll be longer during The Flu promo activities.

good acting by soo ae!  i so hate her in this drama and it means that she has totally played her role rea  listically  also, a lot of people are convinced that she is not an all out villain, that is proof of her excellent acting skills.  i just hope she will redeem herself in the succeeding episodes.

Fantast1ksuae: I really love how you did the Yawang drama...awesome work...I agree with the most parts, I mean about the Death or killing her stepfather, she could have said it was selfdefence, and tell the police about the abusing...but NOOOO they decided to do it the MAFIA style
About HR working in the night club, I understand how DH felt, I mean she has been lied to for 4 years or 5, and if her coworkers have found out..., but still he did it for her and when I remember that he slept with this woman so he could pay her America "tourist" travel makes me mad, but as you said his decision but still out of love!
EB's death was an accident, DH could have been on the phone and lost EB out of sight for one minute and that could have happened, I don't blame her for that, she even wanted to go to America to give her a better future and education
Lisa's death was an accident too...if someone else had let her out, maybe it would have be seen as one
About changing the company after getting fired, no I think that was also the turning point, she wanted to show BDK that: "If you think of me as a gold digger I'm gonna be one for you, enjoy!" Poor BDH he is also a victim of this cruel game...
I also feel sorry for JW's father and his fiance Seok Soo-jeong, poor girl had no clue what's coming...and she couldn't even mourn (

about the fan post, I've posted a wallpaper something for yawang but made by fans, and this one girl told me "NO FAN POST" and she is like making the whole Yawang thread into Yunho thread...so i decided to never go there!
