 On May 23, CJ Entertainment, the distributor of “Good Friends,” revealed, “The movie ‘Good Friends’ starring Ji Sung, Joo Ji Hoon, and Lee Kwang Soo has been confirmed to open this coming July.”

“Good Friends” is a crime movie about three men who are conflicted between loyalty and suspicion following an accidental event. Joo Ji Hoon will be playing the role of In Chul, who wants to protect both his loyalty and his ambitions, Ji Sung will play the role of Hyun Tae, who searches for the truth after losing everything in just one moment, and Lee Kwang Soo will act asMin Soo, who gives up everything for the sake of his friends.

Rookie director Lee Do Yoon took charge of the screenplay as well as the direction of this upcoming movie.

Ji, Ju and Lee ‘Good Friends’ after film

“Ji-hoon is definitely a good friend of mine!” smiled actor Ji Sung at his co-actor Ju Ji-hoon during a press conference yesterday held for the new film “Good Friends” in Apgujeong, southern Seoul.

Ji Sung, who won critical acclaim for his latest KBS drama “Secret Love,” added, “We were able to develop a true friendship throughout shooting the movie, just like our characters in the story.”

Joining Ji and Ju was actor Lee Kwang-soo of SBS entertainment show “Running Man.”

The film explores how a suspicious arson case makes three good friends deal with unexpected drama and a bloody conspiracy.

“Good Friends” will hit local cinemas on July 10.

Joo Ji Hoon took everyone off guard by making an unexpected comment about himself.

Joo Ji Hoon attended a press conference for film Good Friends on June 12 at the Apgujeong CGV and said, “There was a scene in the movie where Ji Sung hyung had to drive at full speed and make a U-turn. He couldn’t walk straight afterwards because something went wrong in his hip joint. But he wanted to continue filming. It was amazing. I was tired and sleepy at that time."

Ji Sung then said, “Joo Ji Hoon is like a pharmacy. He has all kinds of drugs. So I got some medicine and treatment from him,” and Joo Ji Hoon replied, “That’s a very dangerous thing to say,” catching everyone off guard as he referred jokingly to his prior drug charges.

Ji Sung continued “(Despite the hip injury) We had to finish filming the scene that day. So I had to continue filming,” and Joo Ji Hoon also shared, “He could’ve adjusted it by using camera walk but he really ran hard.”

Good Friends is a crime movie about three men who struggle between loyalty and suspicion. Ji Sung will be acting as ‘Hyun Tae’ who loses his family due to an accident and goes through inner conflicts as he traces back the case, Joo Ji Hoon will be acting as ‘In Chul,’ who wants to keep both his ambition and loyalty and Lee Kwang Soo will be acting as ‘Min Soo’ who bets everything for friendship.

The movie will premiere on July 10.

Joo Jihoon said that he is responsible for making a good atmosphere and Gwangsoo usually laughs with him but doesn’t talk much. Whenever the atmosphere reaches its top Jisung appears, starts to sing and doesn’t let go the microphone.

Lee Gwangsoo added that Jisung always talks about himself and that it is sometimes very annoying.

K-Movie ‘Good Friends’ is about a guy who loses a great amount of money and his family through a robbery and starts to doubt his close friends. The movie will be revealed in the theaters on July 10th

Joo Ji Hoon will also be appearing on the new SBS Tuesday night talk show, “Magic Eye,” hosted by Lee Hyori and Moon So Ri. This episode in which Joo Ji Hoon is a guest is set to air July 8.

The actor also previously recorded for the tvN mobile talk show, “Taxi,” with Ji Sung and Lee Kwang Soo, which fans can also look forward to soon.
