Continue... HSI attempts to follow but is stopped by EJ. He can hear footsteps approaching.
It's the Wudalchi (Ju Seok, Dol Bae, Deok Man and 2 unknown Wudalchi). ES walks towards them, then passes them with a sad look on her face. The five take out their weapon to face EJ and HSI.
EJ and HSI are commenting how ES seem to not care what happens to the Wudalchi and just left. Should they find out? And EJ puts his mouth to his flute and starts playing.
On hearing the music from the flute, ES recalls EJ demonstrating his ability by destroying some pottery in front of him and the Wudalchi starts dropping like flies to his music. 
She turns back and asks him to stop, she herself feeling the effect of his flute and holding on to her ears, drops to the ground. The music is stopped by Archer Boy's arrow hitting his flute. And CY and Daeman come running in, to face the Pledged Siblings.

EJ:  Shall we find out?  He takes his flute.

Wudalchi ask them, are you the one who murdered people in broad daylight? And also kidnapped the high doctor?

EJ starts to play his flute.

ES stops and turns around.  She already knows what will happen when he plays his flute.  

As the Wudalchi move to arrest them, the sound starts to hurt their ears.  They start to fall on the ground.  ES runs back and tells EJ to stop.  Her ears start to hurt also.  

Then an arrow flies in the air aimed at EJ.  A Suribang boy is on the roof.

Choi Young arrives.  He sees ES with her hands on her ears.  She checks her out, moves her hand away and sees blood on her ears.  He wipes off the blood.

CY stares at them for a split second then turns back to ES. He kneels down and wipes the blood from her ear. 


He looks at her briefly (Swoon!), then gets up to face the two again. JS reports that they were the ones who killed the scholars and kidnapped ES.

CY asks them what they want to do now? Fight or retreat?
EJ says if they stay it will just drag on. HSI agrees saying anyway they have found out what they needed to know.
She addresses ES directly and says, "It looks like the one standing next to you is the first. He always finds you and comes running to your aid. Always, without fail."
Everyone knows that CY and ES's feelings!!!

The Wudalchi want to fight off EJ and HWS.  

CY stops them.  EJ and HWS also give up, they say the fight will just be dragged on.  

Before they leave, HWS says:  It is ok.  I already got the answer from you.  I already know who will be first because he always comes to your aid without fail.

CY goes back to ES.  He asks her:  Are you alright?  He tries to look at her ears again but ES pushes his hand and moves away.  

(What a confusing gesture from ES.  I did not understand why she did that.  At first I thought it was for Hwasoin's benefit but they already left.  She allowed it the first time why not the second time?  ES was giving mixed signals here.)
