i just want to ask has anyone ever trolled 6theory i have i found this gllitch where you can give a person a bunch of - or + but they fixed but i swear im not rep monster and i also got banned like a 2 months ago(another account) but i was able to find a loop a hole and i got on to my other account

Why did you pick Soompi as your resting place after the "temporary" close of 6Theory?

I would've figured somewhere like Omona would've been more suitable.

Soompi was the only place I knew of that was like 6Theory...

I'm part of forums dedicated to certain groups, but they aren't the same.

And not EVERYONE went along with the trolling.

I don't see why everyone has to suffer because of the trolls and haters.

All I did was happily perv along in the B1A4 thread and minded my own business!

They're not to blame completely, but they are partially to blame. The mods aren't scott free on this either.

That's what I said. I agreed with KalexiS that everyone was to blame.

She also said that she voted against closing 6theory and that she didn't want the stricter rules that some users were [desperately] suggesting as an alternative to closing down the forum.

Self-moderating is extremely important and it seems that even with 6theory closing down, that some of the people here haven't learned to do that just yet. Be responsible for what you choose to post. Mods wouldn't have to close or merge hundreds of threads a day if the users thought more thoroughly about what they were posting.

Johnny seems like a toddler throwing a tantrum right now. He had to KNOW that a forum would get trolls and hate comments and 'vulgarity' but COME ON! There weren't enough mods, and what were us regular posters going to do? It's not like we had the power to get rid of trolls to begin with. 

I just want my artist threads back.

Johnny is shooting the innocent with this thing about the forums being "absolutely worthless".

Cite basic rules about business [i.e., it being YOURS and not, in fact,  the consumer's (us)] all you want, but attacking the vast majority of  6theory users who actually were behaved and properly created, shared,  and enjoyed content is a d*ck move.

Regardless, I'm leaning towards Johnny's ideals here, just not the manner in which he is implementing them.

There will be a ton of bashing and hate if they end up wiping the entire forum and removing everything. Especially if they cut the artist threads.

Both Johnny & mods and the users are to blame. There were a lot of trolls on 6theory but if mods had actually stopped them quickly and 6theory had more defined rules then it wouldn't have been as big a problem.

Omonatheydidnt i got banned from that. Since i was sort of trolling after people did not like my opinion. If the forums are closed for good i wont be upset. I always hated Johnny so if he wants all the members that keep allkpop and 6theory alive to leave because he is getitng butthurt so be it.

He's not responsible. But can you honestly say that a majority of the people on 6theory are like the trolls? How are we responsible for what other people posted? I mainly stuck to the Artist threads and if I went in the Music section I never bashed another group. Like when all that Hyuna hate started I told people to knock it off and not to richard simmons shame.

And I don't even know how many times people mentioned that we needed more mods.

So yes it is a combination of the higher ups fault and the posters.

Idk, the thread someone posted yesterday titled "Why is Minzy so fat?" with a picture of Minzy photoshopped onto the body of a grossly obese woman was closed pretty quickly.

People are like, "UGHH. MORE MODS IS THE SOLUTION."

Anyone ever stop to wonder WHY 6theory would even need more than the original 4 (or was it 5) mods?

Because of the trash people keep posting.

The rules on 6theory are a lot more relaxed than the rules here, obviously. But people took advantage of that freedom, took it for granted, and now they think they're entitled to overrun 6theory with troll threads as much as they want. Some are even trying to use the argument that Johnny NEEDS the forum or else AKP would lose all of its readers.

Don't blame the mods and admins for the trolling. The people who sign up to use 6theory are given a set of rules they agree to abide by when making their account and even if you didn't bother to read them, you should KNOW through common sense what's appropriate content for the forum and what isn't. 6theory isn't 4chan, you can't just post whatever you want because you think it's funny or because you just want lulz.

I didn't get a chance to make a screenshot of what KalexiS posted on the 6theory-is-closing thread, but she (KalexiS was a female mod, right?) had a point. The forum got out of hand because of everyone on it.

What kind of logic is it that it's the mods' fault for the stuff regular users choose to post? It's the mods' fault that someone wanted to post a thread about an AV girl that looks like Suzy? It's their fault that people were making threads for the sole purpose of dissing AKP's layout and New.F.O? It's their fault that everyone just went along with the trolling?

Come on.

I never said anything about users who of course are also to blame.

BUT you get trolls no matter what and if rules were enforced, things wouldn't have gotten as out of hand. That's all.

Also, please don't assume what I think. Everyone has a hand in whatever is going on but the way Johnny is handling it is childish -- trust me on that.

And as another side note, sorry for the edits, but what kind of forum expects people to behave when they create specific forums for bashing like Craptastic, or threads for bashing like the Fanturd thread (which did evolve into something else), or allowed a forum like the Dirty where porn was posted? This is a site design decision that is out of regular posters hands, to be honest. And you'll attract a certain kind of poster with places to post like that.
