SINGAPORE: Actor Song Seung-Heon said he was stressed out shooting the sex scenes in his new film Obsession - his first R-rated film.

"Its a very big step for me because my image as an actor is very different from my image in the film," said the Korean actor as he met the media on Friday (July 25), ahead of the Singapore premiere of the film.

He added that he worked out a lot for the big sex scenes in the show but was not very comfortable shooting them. "I have to say I was really shy because there were 20 to 30 people looking at me during the scene!"

Obsession is the story of Kim Jin-Pyong, a married army colonel who falls for his subordinate's wife and has an affair with her which threatens to end in tragedy.

"I hope what happens to my character never happens to me because it is like meeting the love of your life after you are married," said Song, speaking at the Fullerton Hotel. "It actually makes me think twice about getting married."

The gala premiere for the show screens at 9pm on Friday.

Indeed yesterday was a memorable evening to me.  I saw SSH in person :x ..........he is definitely even better looking in person.....very handsome.........and ohhh.......just love hearing his voice........   =D>  and guess what....... I SHOOK HIS HANDS when he was leaving the theatre after the 'greet the fans session' at Obsessed Gala Premiere!!!!  Ohhhh.........that's the icing of the cake!  Yesterday I was dashing, rushing all the tme - from my workplace, to City Square Mall, to GV Vivocity............. and the bonus I got was his warm hands that slipped into my hand with a firm shake, a nod and smile from him...........Oh gosh.....till now I am still reliving that "handshake" moment   ) :x =D> ) :x =D>

@JoanneA WOW!! I can feel your excitement, not only see SSH in person, also shake his hand. Have you wash your hand yet? HaHa! You must be still high in cloud nine. @Lucky123,  guess i muz be missing SSH ........was down with fever and having bad flu now.........hahaha !!  U r right, that memorable moment is still lingering in my mind.  This recent visit of his was a very successful as he was widely covered in all media including neighbouring countries.  The press conference was a closed door event meant for media only, guess that is why a "greet the fan" session was being slotted in the early evening prior to the gala premiere of Obsessed. As there were so much coverage of him, if you have time, do visit his fans FB - Truly Seung Heon Singapore, Song Seung Heon Malaysia, Seung Heon Planet Taiwan, Baidu Honey Bar of China..............salute and credit to all of them as they put in much effort and time in sharing and covering all his events via vids and reports. As SSH was here for a very short visit, his schedule was really packed (he arrived on 24 Jul @ 7.30pm; departed on 25 July past midnight flight), yet there is no trace of tiredness shown..........in fact he was still so radiant and smiling thoughout. He is definitely even better looking in person.......so u can imagine our screams ans shouts upon seeing him.....And ohh.....he did share with the media of his mom watching "Obsessed" with her friends, and also touched on So Ji Sub, hoping that one day he and SJS can appear together for a fan meet in which fans from both camps can come together.  I just watched a vid on his departure from Singapore whereby he was at the checkout counter, yet he kept turning back and looked at the fans numerous times, waved to them umpteen times, before finally going in.  I felt so touched upon seeing it. No wonder the media are full of praise of him......as one chinese media summed up - 韩星之中，他是罕见毫无架子、没有禁忌的。 有时，愈明星愈随和

@JoanneA, of course girl, because I ran into these  celebrities by chance here in NYC and if your a KDrama connoisseur  you would definitely recognizes them and I am cognizant of that kind of pleasure!!!  
When KTH was in Serendipity NYC, fortunately I was there entertaining a guest from Wash DC, he told me that is a very beautiful Asian woman across in another table, subtly told him that's KTH famous Korean actress.
I ran into SSH in one of the famous place in NYC, I have to step back and look at him just to confirm, it is indeed him!!!
SJS, I was with my cousin when lo & behold,they live in the same neighborhood, 
but  New Yorkers allows celebrities to wander the streets just as a regular guy,that's the reason they love to come and visit NYC!!!
Nobody bothers them at all!!!
Yes that kind of excitement you have  lingers and makes you admires them because they are very appreciative of people like us!!!

@JoannaA thank you for posting the greetings from KTH to SSH.The first glanced of KTH from the first picture, i can see the shadow of Lee Seol. And with the 2nd picture, i can see PHY's smile and the expression from his eyes, it felt like PHY all over.i haven't seen that expression since MP. He looked very happy and then realize the camera was on him, he started to talk to the translator and looked like he's tried to cover up. Make me wonder, among all his previous partners from his movie and dramas, why KTH? i can understand the currant partners from the new movie and Kopline
