So Ji Sup-Han Hyo Ju Meet for First Time for "Only You"

The movie "Only You" which surprised the movie industry with its superstar cast of Han Hyo Ju and So Ji Sup, officially started filming on March 31st. The movie is expected to hit the theaters this fall and will show a beautiful love story.

The first scene between ex-boxer Chul Min and a blind person who never loses her smile, Jung Hwa, was filmed in front of an animal hospital in Seoul.

So Ji Sup, who has the role of Chul Min, was able to absorb into his character completely and was able to express the feelings of worry for Jung Hwa perfectly. He was dressed in a casual hoodie and worn out jeans but still was so good looking that fans who were watching the filming process were stunned by his looks.

Also, Han Hyo Ju surprised the staff and onlookers with her experienced acting as a blind character, Jung Hwa since she spent a lot of time with children who couldn't see while preparing for the movie. Han Hyo Ju is expected to show a more mature side of herself since she mostly showed her bright side through dramas and CFs.

Director Song Il Gon showed dedication for the work by making sure that each expression and path was perfect. He said that he was confident that the two actors will be able to share a beautiful yet sad love story.

So Ji-sub, Han Hyo-joo start filming new pic

A local film titled "Only You," starring actor So Ji-sub and actress Han Hyo-joo, went into shoot late last week, according to the film's distributor Showbox on Monday.

A press release by Showbox said today that the film depicting on the love between a former boxer and a blind girl cranked in last Thursday.

In "Only You," So plays a former boxer with a rough personality who makes a living by delivering water and managing parking lot while Han is a woman who may be going blind but is strong in spirit.

The film, which is helmed by critically acclaimed director Song Il-gon whose previous works include "Flower Island" and "Spider Forest," is set to premiere around late half of this year.

Han, 24, rose to stardom throughout Korea and Asia after starring as a heroine in several hit dramas including "Brilliant Legacy (2009)" and most recently appeared in historical drama "Dong Yi - Jewel in the Crown. (2010)"

This will be her first time since 2009 to take a role on the big screen since starring in "Postman to Heaven" also featuring JYJ member Jaejoong.

So, 33, is one of the most popular actors in Korea and has appeared in numerous TV dramas and movies since his debut in 1996. He became a household name in Korea and Asia with his roles in 2004 hit series "Something Happened in Bali" and "I'm Sorry, I Love You."

Most recently, he starred in MBC's war epic "Road No. 1" alongside Hallyu star Kim Ha-neul and Yoon Kye-sang.

So Ji Sub receives intensive boxing training

 for his up coming role in "ONLY YOU"

It was recently revealed that actor So Ji Sub has been undergoing an intense boxing training program for his upcoming new drama/romance movie, “Only You“, co-starring actress Han Hyo Joo.

In order for a complete transformation into his boxer role for the movie, the actor has been receiving rigorous training from legitimate boxing coaches, with an exercise regime that includes consistent weight training, skipping, cardio, as well as more boxing-specific drills such as sandbag kicking, shadow-boxing, and sparring.

What impressed the coaches was So Ji Sub’s strong dedication and his ability to quickly adjust himself to the sport, which came faster than expected. Producers of “Only You” have revealed that the actor will in fact have a real-life match against K1 professional fighter Whee Seung Bae for the movie shooting, and with So Ji Sub’s consistent training in the sport, producers are expecting to film a fight as visually realistic as possible.

So Ji Sub’s character in the movie is a man who gives up everything he has for a girl he’s fallen in love with. Not only will viewers be able to see the charms of So Ji Sub’s unpolished beauty, but they will also be treated with the character’s pure and innocent emotions for the woman of his dreams.

“Only You” is slated for release this coming fall.

So Ji-sub is playing a boxer for his new movie Only You, which means that the actor’s busy these days with physical training to get into fighting form. In the movie, he plays a tragic hero who’s losing his skills, who falls in love with a woman who’s losing her eyesight (played by Han Hyo-joo). Get the Kleenex ready now!

So Ji-sub is pretty on top of his workout regimen under normal circumstances, so he’s already more than halfway there. He’s just stepping things up with the boxing practice, since he’ll have to be believable enough to face off (in the movie) against real-life K-1 fighter Whi Seung-bae. Not that he’s a stranger to playing tough guys — he’s pretty much made a career out of it (I’m Sorry, I Love You, Rough Cut).

Only You began its first shoots on March 31, and is currently busy filming. It’s planning a fall release.

The movie’s producers have revealed that the actor will have match with an actual K1 pro fighter Whi Seung Bae in the movie. No wonder So is currently exercising under a legitimate boxing coaches to film a fight as visually realistic as possible.

This year started off with human drama ("Late Blossom") or comedy dramas ("Suicidal Forecast"). It's not easy to see a heart trembling mellow flick. Which couple from the mellow flicks that are due this later half of this year, are audiences looking forward to see the most?

■ "Only You - Movie" So Ji-sub and Han Hyo-joo

Traditional mellow movie, "Only You - Movie" is soon to be released. "So Gan-ji, So Ji-sub" and young beauty Han Hyo-joo have the Chungmuro looking forward to it.

"Only You - Movie" is about a destined love between a former boxer Cheol-min who has lived a weedy life, and Jeong-hwa who doesn't lose her smile even with a dark future ahead of her. Director Song Il-gon showed confidence in the two actors' beautiful but sad love story, "True emotions will convey to the audience".

■ "In Love and the War" Kim Joo-hyeok and Jeong Ryeo-won

Kim Joo-hyeok and Jeong Ryeo-won's fond love is soon to be coming in the movie "In Love and the War" on the 28th of April. It is a human drama drawing laughter and emotion in big scale in the ironic situation of Korea's painful war history, but Kim Joo-hyeok and Jeong Ryeo-won's alove story is not to be missed.

Kim Joo-hyeok is a North Korean general and Jeong Ryeo-won is an ambitious country girl Seol-hee. These two are drawn to each other without control even in the cross fire of war.

■ "The Red Muffler - 2011" Rain and Sin Se-kyeong
