Lee Jong-suk goes tropical on the cover of Ceci magazine

Model-turned-actor Lee Jong-suk made a fashion statement on cover of fashion magazineCeci’s June issue. The actor, who recently signed with YG Entertainment, wore a black top with intricate tropical patterns. A beige shirt with a ribbon collar gave the overall look a soothing effect.

The bright patterns on the top are accentuated by his impish expression and posture. 

Ceci Magazine commented, “Great looks. Real Hallyu star -- be prepared to be blown away.”

The magazine’s upcoming issue will feature other K-stars such as Uee, Twice, GOT7, and NCT U and Sam Kim in its glossy pages.

Stills of Lee Jong-suk's Chinese drama revealed

Stills from actor Lee Jong-suk’s new Chinese TV drama, “Jade Lover,” were released on Monday, May 16. In the photos released by Chinese video platform iQiyi to its Weibo account, Lee is seen standing beside female protagonist Zheng Shuang, as they share an umbrella. In another photo, Lee hugs Zheng, creating a lovely couple look.

The new Chinese-Korean TV drama is a fantasy romance set in the 1930s, centering on the romance between the heirs of two Chinese rival families. The show is being directed by Jin Hyuk, previously behind popular series “Brilliant Legacy,” “City Hunter” and “Doctor Stranger.”

The program, which made headlines for its mega-budget of 40 billion won ($34 million), will air this summer through Chinese streaming platforms Tencent and iQiyi.

Actor Lee Jong-suk will feature on the cover of Ceci Korea’s June issue as well as Ceci China’s July issue, according to the fashion magazine. On Monday, May 16, Ceci unveiled a photofrom the upcoming pictorial. 

The 26-year-old actor gazes at the camera with a charismatic look. Dressed in a unique striped shirt with crown patterns, he looks sexy with the cuffs slightly opened to reveal his sleek arms.

With his recent transfer to YG Entertainment, Lee will pursue more activities as an actor, including the upcoming MBC drama “W.”
