이종석, 中 상하이 팬미팅..대륙 달궜다 '역시 대세'

배우’ 이종석이 ‘2014 아시아투어 팬미팅 인 상하이-프레젠트(in shanghai -present)’를 성황리에 마쳤다.

이종석은 지난 14일 ‘발렌타인 데이’ 중국 상해 이-스포츠 아레나((E-SPORT ARENA)에서 열린 중화권 두 번째 상해 팬미팅을 개최, 2200명의 상해 팬들을 뜨겁게 열광케 했다.

중국 방문 소식부터 현지 언론에 뜨거운 관심을 받은 이종석은 팬미팅 전날인 13일 입국 하자마자 많은 상해 팬들을 몰고 다니며 현지 내 뜨거운 인기를 입증했다. 이종석을 보기 위해 기다린 많은 팬들 때문에 뜨거운 인파가 몰린 중국 훙챠오 공항은 그야말로 인산인해를 이뤘으며, 결국 모두의 안전을 위해 이종석은 다른 출구로 나와야만 했다.

팬미팅을 앞둔 기자회견 자리에서는 상해미디어그룹 등 주요 매체들이 참여한 가운데 처음 상해에서 팬미팅을 여는 한국의 대세 배우 이종석에 대한 현지 언론의 뜨거운 플래쉬 세례와 질문이 쏟아져 나왔다.

본격적으로 시작된 팬미팅에서 이종석은 팬들을 위해 본인이 직접 고른 선물들을 들고 등장, 자신을 연호하는 팬들에게 중국어로 인사를 건네 현장을 뜨겁게 달궜다.

이어 진솔한 토크로 팬들에게 한층 다가선 이종석은 나만의 랭킹을 맞추는 코너와 각종 게임들에서 전 객석이 들썩일 만큼 뜨거운 열기 속 즉석 추첨된 팬들과 함께 다정다감하게 게임을 하기도 하고, 자신이 손수 준비한 선물을 주는 등 따뜻한 모습으로 팬들을 감동하게 만들었다.

특히 이종석은 1부에는 달달한 고백송인 유리상자의 ‘사랑해도 될까요’를 열창, 2부에는 절친한 친구와 함께 부르는 프라이머리의 ‘자니’로 공연장을 열광의 도가니로 만들었다. 열창이 쑥스러운 듯 노래 중간 중간 해맑은 미소를 지은 이종석의 순수매력은 중국 대륙의 여심을 단숨에 사로잡았다.

자신을 보러와 준 팬들에게 직접 쓴 이종석의 손 편지가 팬미팅의 대미를 장식했다. 이때 진솔하게 감사의 마음을 전하던 그는 벅찬 마음을 감추지 못하고 감동의 눈물을 흘렸으며 이를 보던 팬들 또한 그와 함께 울며 아쉬움을 비췄다. 그의 진심이 전해진 팬미팅은 다음을 만남을 기약하며 막을 내렸다.

이종석은 “저를 보러 와주신 많은 팬 분들에게 정말 감사드린다. 밸런타인데이에 저와의 팬미팅이 소중한 추억으로 남으셨길 바란다. 저 또한 무엇과도 비교할 수 없는 큰 선물을 받은 것 같아서 마음이 벅차다. 보내주신 사랑만큼 저도 더욱 좋은 모습을 보여드리기 위해 노력하겠다. 애정 어린 시선으로 지켜봐 주셨으면 좋겠다”라고 팬미팅 소감을 전했다.

한편 이종석은 오는 4월 SBS 새 월화 드라마 ‘닥터 이방인’(가제) 에서 천채 탈북의사 박 훈 역으로 컴백한다.

Lee Jong Suk successfully held his fan meeting in Shanghai, meeting with over 2,200 fans. 

The fan meeting titled 2014 Asia Tour Fan Meeting in Shanghai Present took place on February 14 at Shanghai’s E-Sport Arena.

Proving his popularity, Lee Jong Suk caused a traffic jam at the airport when he arrived the day before the fan meeting, and had to exit out from a different gate in order to avoid anyone getting injured.

The actor also gathered much attention from the Chinese press, and was showered with questions and camera flashes at the press conference.

Then the star surprised his fan during fan meeting by greeting them in Chinese and giving out gifts in person. He also mesmerized the fans by singing a romantic ballad song as well as Dynamic Duo & Primary’s hit Johnny.

The finale of the event involved the star reading his hand-written letter to the fans, during which he broke into tears, bringing the fans to tear up along with him. 

Lee Jong Suk said, “Thank you so much for coming to see me. I hope this Valentine’s Day spent together becomes a precious memory for you all. I can’t fully express how happy I am, as I feel like I’ve just received the greatest gift of all. I will work hard to return the love you’ve shown me. Please watch as I make my progress to become better.”

Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk’s next project will be SBS’s Doctor Stranger, broadcasting in April.
