Most of these are from a fan of Jongsuk on Weibo, 希纳_. Her Korean is native and she translates bits and pieces about him that she reads on the Korean interwebs from time to time. I hope this is not too messy for people to read, I just wanted to share these with everyone…

Lee Jong Suk is the kind of person that you just fall in love more and more when you get to know these little things… it’s all so quirky and weird but also fits into the little enigma that is his personality — when with fans or friends, he is kind, humorous, shy but playful; but at work, dedicated, selfless and professional.

1) Jongsuk had a CF filming yesterday night, so he was going to leave the set and head directly to the CF set without having dinner. As he was getting ready to go, he saw that some of his staff members were eating bibimbap. He was afraid that the staff members won’t eat once they have to leave with him, so he quietly turned back inside and ate a bowl himself…

2) Jo Jong Suk mentioned Jongsuk (lol) during ‘The Face Reader’ promotions. He said: Jongsuk is so busy that he would have to rush back to Seoul for ‘School’ filming all the time, so there was not much time for me to become close with him, which is a pity. However, the most shocking and wonderful thing is that, even though he should be more exhausted than anyone else on set, he is still so passionate. Also, Jongsuk is extremely gentle and kind towards everyone, be it sunbae actors or staff members. It makes it impossible not to love him, you just want to take care of him so very much… so my character’s feelings towards his nephew just came naturally, it was like I became his mom… I want to work with him again and take care of him properly next time.

3) On the set of ‘No Breathing’ —  Jongsuk is known for being playful with Seo In Guk, and his aegyo is unparalleled. SIG is originally the type that is good at aegyo and pranks, but it is nothing compared to Jongsuk. Also, he has been receiving and reading a mountain of scripts on set, with quite a number of edgy and quirky characters… 

4) On the set of ‘Boiling Blood Youth’ — Once, Jongsuk suddenly walked up to the fans who came on set, and since his appearance was too sudden and shocking, they hid and shouted, “Please don’t come over!” Thus, Jongsuk just stood in the sun for awhile, until the fans waved and asked him to come into the shade with them… and he obediently followed their instructions.

5) Later, there were still two more scenes to be shot during the night, so the fans decided to return to Seoul first — Jongsuk was a bit tired at that point, so he laid his head on a staff member’s shoulder, mumbling, “When is it going to end? Take me away too…”

6) Lee Bo Young went especially to the set of ‘Blood Boiling Youth’ to give Jongsuk a birthday present and told him, “If you don’t come to my wedding, you’re dead!” (So he did.)

7) Lastly, here is a tiny slice of the Vogue interview. Jongsuk said that there is a chance he will work with the PD of ‘School 2013’ again next year, since they have discussed it at length. He also said that popularity to him is like the springtime that must disappear one day, he does not allow himself to linger on it, but rather, focuses on the next project.
