miss A’s Min reveals s​he was signed to JYP at age 12

On the episode aired on May 20th, miss A‘s Min made a guest appearance on SBS variety show Discovering Gifted Kids, where she shared about her pre-debut and trainee life in the U.S.

Min shared her story of how she was discovered as a ‘young talent’. Many might have mistaken her for being American with her fluent English-speaking skills, but she is in fact of Korean nationality and was sent to the United States by JYP Entertainment when she was still young, around 12 years old.

Considered one of the longest-trained trainees with the entertainment company, Min explained, “I signed with JYP when I was in 6th grade.” JYP had planned for her to make a U.S. debut and so Min moved from Korea and attended school in New York. Min was asked on the show if she was fearful to attend school in the U.S. after signing the contract, she answered, “Ever since I was young, I had an urge to learn singing and dancing somewhere bigger than Korea. My grandmother raised me since I was young and she was very supportive of my decision as well.”

Min turns 25 this year, with around 13 years of her life dedicated to JYP.

Jessi reveals Suzy wanted to work with her before J.Y. Park 'stole' her + reveals the number of CFs she's filmed

J.Y. Park had previously revealed that miss A's Suzy was the one who suggested that rapper Jessi should feature in his "Who's Your Mama" song, but it looks like Jessi's side of the story is a little different!

On the May 22 airing of MBC's 'Quiz to Change the World', Jessi talked about how she ended up collaborating with J.Y. Park. She shared, "I heard Suzy wanted to work with me first, but J.Y. Park sunbae took me instead." 

She also revealed she was raking in the endorsement deals. When asked if she shot a lot of CF's, she replied, "Cars, clothes... I've filmed about 8 CFs."

Jessi revealed which fellow artist gave her a good first impression as well. It was none other than singer Jung Joon Young. She explained, "He has an unexpected/wild side to him like I do."

2AM‘s Jo Kwon is currently starring in the musical “Chess,” and some members of the JYP family are coming out to support him!

On June 20, Jo Kwon posted a photo to his Instagram of himself backstage with two beauties from miss A – Jia and Fei!

As the caption, he writes, “Jia! Fei noona! Thanks for coming to support me :-) The matinee went well-!”

“Chess” opened on June 19 in Seoul and will run until July 19. Jo Kwon is currently alternating the role of Anatoly with VIXX‘s Ken, B1A4‘s CNU, and SHINee‘s Key. Ken opened the show on June 19, but Jo Kwon took to the stage for both the matinee and evening show on Saturday, June 20.

Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon Mention Suzy and Yeo Jin Goo in Wedding Vows

The July 18 episode of MBC’s “We Got Married” featured Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon’s wedding party with friends. The couple also read personal wedding vows to one another.

Lee Jong Hyun goes first and says, “I will work hard so that our married life continue to be sweet. I will wear white t-shirts to make my wife’s heart race and show off my sexy back muscles while I dance to the three bears song. And I will not talk about Suzy.”

His comment refers to the past incident when the couple discovered some graffiti that said, “Jong Hyun-ie ♥ Suzy.”

Then Gong Seung Yeon reads her vows which promise, “I promise to only focus on my husband and to always think that he is the best. Also, I will never talk about Jin Goo. I promise to consistently make my husband’s heart flutter.”

The couple’s jealousy concerning Suzy and Yeo Jin Goo made everyone laugh.
