Mona_Rukia, it seems you are so dedicated with SYJ now, to be giving so much of your precious time reading old post, you're a trooper! I guess almost everyone here (who's a loyal SYJ fan) went to that experience as well.

I like the fact that you were able to recognize the maturity of the people here, i really can't remember anything where someone bashed someone and another would take sides. We respect everyone's opinion here whether they like her dress or her movies,it all depend on someone's taste, but we all agree that SYJ is beautiful and a great actress.

I once posted something in another thread and i got murdered! That's why i decided to stick here and not post anywhere else lol

Anyway where are you from and is it ok if we call you by your name? As you can see we know everyone's first names here, we would be happy if you join the group.

손예진은 “항상 인터뷰를 받기만 했는데 처음 인터뷰를 하는 입장이 되니까 좀 떨린다”고 인터뷰 소감을 전한 그녀는 테오 얀센 에게 “잘 부탁한다”는 귀여운 청탁의 말도 잊지 않고 전했다.

테오 얀센은 “대학에서 물리학을 공부하면서 기압이나 피스톤, 모든 기계적인 것에 대해 흥미를 가지게 되었지만 학교 안에서 물리학을 이해하기 위해서는 아주 긴 시간이 필요했다. 스스로를 돌아봤을 때, 물리학에 기인한 나의 지식과 경험이 무의식적으로 예술적인 작업과 연계가 되는 것 같다”고 대답했다.

그는 “아직도 난 예술과 공학의 차이를 느낄 수 없다. 두 가지가 동시에 나에게 영향을 끼친 것 같고, 아마도 예술적이지 않은 물리학의 영향을 시발점으로, 작품의 기능적인 면에 매진하여 결과물을 만들어내다 보니 아름다운 형태가 따라오게 된 것이다. 애초부터 결과물을 아름답게 만들려고 노력한 적은 없다”고 말했다.

배우 손예진이 라이프스타일 매거진 '싱글즈' 9월호를 통해 네덜란드에서 키네틱 아티스트 ‘테오 얀센’을 만나 직접 인터뷰를 가졌다.

움직이는 해변 동물 시리즈로 유명한 키네틱 아트의 거장, 테오 얀센. 네덜란드 델프트 대학에서 물리학을 전공한 그는 1990년부터 20년 동안 만들어낸 해변 동물 시리즈를 통해 해변 동물의 탄생 배경과 원리, 구조적인 아름다움을 과학과 예술의 경이로운 결합으로 창조하여 ‘21세기 레오나르도 다빈치’라는 찬사를 받고 있는 예술가이다.

‘살아있는 생명체’ 스트란트 비스트(Strandbeest). 이 움직이는 생명체는 바람을 원동력으로 하여 스스로 걷고 스스로 진화하는 매우 과학적인 그의 작품으로 생명의 에너지원인 바람을 저장하는 것은 재활용 페트병이고, 생명체를 지탱하는 골격은 버려진 플라스틱 튜브다.

이러한 그의 작품은 동력을 이용해 만든 친환경적 작업을 통해 환경 문제에 대한 새로운 대안을 제시했다는 점을 인정받아 2009년 7월 유엔환경계획(UNEP)에서 제정한 에코 아트 어워드를 수상하기도 했다.

그 동안 테오 얀센이라는 흥미로운 예술가에게 관심을 갖고 있었다는 손예진은 싱글즈와의 네덜란드행 제안을 흔쾌히 받아들여 그곳에서 테오 얀센과 의미 있는 시간을 보냈다.

손예진은 세계 각국을 여행하는 것을 좋아하는 그에게 한국에 대한 인상을 물었다. “한국은 ‘칠레’ 다음으로 가장 인상 깊었던 나라였다. 강폭이 넓으면서 유유히 흐르는 서울의 한강을 참 좋아한다.”며 한국 사람에 대해서는 “서울의 밤거리를 걸으면서 서울에 사는 사람들이 도시의 삶을 멋지게 향유하고 즐긴다는 생각이 들었다. 내 생각에 한국 사람들은 자신의 삶을 즐기고 사랑할 줄 아는 것 같다.” 고 전했다.

Thanks for sharing! Wow, I'm loving Son Ye Jin more as I get to know her further. Seriously, I didn't knew before she had such deep artistic inclinations  besides acting. Now that I think of it, her roles as Hye Won in Summer Scent and as Ji Hae in The Classic and even as Kae In in Personal Taste (Too bad, I haven't watched Alone in Love yet and I'm dying to see it) were portrayed with such creative depth that is exceptional because of her appreciation for art.  That is not to disregard her very expressive eyes  which can also be relevant for her wanting to explore more by travelling to different places.So, I think her interaction with Mr, Theo Jansen may have enabled her  to see things (I know she already has that vision) in even wider perspective  and portray upcoming roles into greater heights and broader range of emotions. Yay! Just my humble observations. 

On the other hand, I'm looking forward for her new project after PT and after she opted out of Jang Dong Gun's My Way. So whether it's another drama or in a movie, I'm really excited on what kind of role she would be taking. It's really hard to predict because she is such a versatile performer.
