Having built up big fire - Defense Department Hiding Behind Celebrity Soldier Vacation Controversies

 

Some celebrity-turned-military personnel were found to have up to 2.08 times more vacation days than ordinary soldiers. Actor Im Si-wan, who received the most vacation days with 123 days, has been on top of the list for a while.

Critics have pointed out that the entertainment soldier system, which was abolished in 2013, has actually been revived, but the ministry says there is no problem as all vacations are given according to regulations.
