robbo4 its nice seeing your post here. Me too was surprised this thread has few pages.

To be honest Pasta is the first drama i've seen with her as the lead actress. She looks kinda familiar,

maybe the reason why i didn't watched her drama/movies is because she plays the role of an unattractive woman.

Sunnies at GHS FC talks about this drama that it interest me, and truly its a fun drama, very entertaining.

I love her acting, very natural. For her to make loads of drama and movies must mean she's a very good actress.

Am currently watching Thank You, this one has very mature story line and she plays her role very well, plus her co-actor is so handsome..

I can also remember about a year or so back when my personal favorite K-Drama talent (Goo Hye-Sun, of course! ) had yet to be discovered by the greater masses until she throttled nearly all of the nay-sayers into submission with her own mega-hit series and our thread over there was a skinny 16 pages. Despite having won many heasrts as "Gukwha" in Pure in Heart, she would have to wait her turn, and that turn came with a resounding bang.

Hyo Jin has always had a quiet, earthy presense about her, and her subtle performances (like the stellar one she gave in Thank You) are sometimes greeted with withering impatience by those waiting for her characters to explode and get to the point of action while she instead lets quiet, consistant, and meaningful action take her to the course that leads to changing the heats of the characters that surround her. As with the case of "Dr. Min" (Jang Hyuk) in Thank You, hearts are won when one takes the time to note the inner beauty and strength of character in her often drabby dressed stage alter-egos. As for the amazing lesson in life that is Thank You, This drama remains, for me, the most meaningful, cathartic, and well-acted series that I've had the pleasure of watching, and rewatching in my three plus years during this ongoing drama addiction. I took right away to Hyo-Jin's sweet, unconventional beauty and the way she quietly, yet boldly led her life while caring for her disease-stricken daughter and grandfather. Little Seo Shin Ae was so convincing and amazing in her roll as "Lee Bom" that the special young actors award that she and young Park Ji Bin (Yi San) shared that year at the MBC Awards has now been added as an official category. (The tango that the two youngsters danced together to open the show was just too cute, wasn't it? ) Along with Yang Hyuk's great performance, The great Shin Goo was off the charts great as "Mr. Lee ." For fans of our lady who have been left out of seeing this life-altering drama, run don't walk, to the nearest reservoir of K-Drama backlogs and invest a few hours of your life seeing something that should be required viewing in classrooms of any grade level in any country. Just a word of advice though, stock up on tissue... :blush:

Just finished watching Thank You, such a heart warming drama. You've got to love how the character evolves. robbo4 very well said. Mr. Lee is the charming grandpa in Pure 19 right? Hats off to Lee Bom, how can a small girl memorize all those lines and attack each scene with so much intensity..

Btw, is that her boyrfiend? i prefer him with short hair..more handsome that way..lol
