Choi Daniel Quietly Enlists in the Army

On October 2, an insider revealed that actor Choi Daniel quietly enlisted in the army today. His sudden enlistment has surprised the public.

The actor started his training at Nonsan Training Center. Fans will have to wait less than two years for him to finish his military service.

Due to a previous leg injury which he had surgery for, Choi Daniel had been selected to work as a public service worker. However, the actor wanted to serve as an active-duty soldier and received treatment for a second examination. Unfortunately, he had not fully recovered from his injury and had to enter as a public service worker.

Choi Daniel debuted in 2005 through KBS’s “Golden Apple” and had his breakthrough role on “High Kick Through the Roof.” Since then he has acted in a number of successful dramas and movies.

the quiet enlistment is something i kind of expected from Daniel. He's very protective about his private lives, and i dont think he enjoyed being the spotlight when he entered the army amongst the other new soldier. not to mentioned that he will serves as public service which means that he would go back to the society in one month. though we would not hear or see him in movie in two years.

Daniel Choi. When I read his name, I thought that name rings a bell!!! So, I googled. Yup, he was crazy Ms. Yang in Worlds Within! He was wacky in his portrayal of Yang Soo Kyung, but sensitive, too! Wonder what he's doing now? I only saw him in WW, but I thought he did an awesome job! Great actor! Good luck, DC!

Choi Daniel, Kang Hye Jung y Lee Won Geun elegidos para nuevo drama de KBS 

Choi Daniel, Kang Hye Jung y Lee Won Geun se unen para el nuevo drama de lunes y martes de KBS 2TV “Jugglers” (titulo tentativo).

Choi Daniel interpretará el papel de Nam Chi Won, el jefe de la división de operaciones de video de HB, quien llegó a la cima a través del trabajo duro y determinación. Él no habla mucho, no tiene interés en los demás, y es frío con todos, pero tiene un encanto extraño que atrae a las mujeres.

El personaje de Lee Won Geun será Hwang Bo Yool, el jefe de la división deportiva. Es el nieto más joven del fundador de la compañía y es la oveja negra de la familia que siempre está causando problemas. Debido a que sigue causando problemas, su familia lo obligó a enlistarse en el ejército cuando lo considerasen apropiado y le dieron su trabajo como jefe de la división deportiva en un esfuerzo por contenerlo. Descontento con el arreglo, Hwang Bo Yool está decidido a tener 100 secretarias en un año cuando conoce al personaje de Kang Hye Jung, la número 89.

Kang Hye Jung asumirá el papel de Wang Jung Ae, una ama de casa durante 15 años que se convierte en la secretaria de Hwang Bo Yool. Es tan amable que preocupa a la gente que la rodea, porque está dispuesta a creer cualquier cosa que diga la gente. Ella decide conseguir un trabajo después de ser ama de casa por tanto tiempo porque su esposo va de excursión temprano una mañana y nunca regresa.

“Jugglers” será un drama de oficina que sigue a una mujer que está dispuesta a hacer cualquier cosa y su jefe que quiere hacer todo por sí mismo. El drama aún está en busca de su protagonista femenina, pero todos los demás preparativos han sido finalizados.

“Jugglers” está programado para comenzar a emitirse en diciembre después del final de “Witch’s Court”.

Hello Hello I just saw that you took over his thread.    It’s so wonderful.  Yes he needs a soompi cheer leader like you.  What a way to restart his career with Jugglers after MS.  Hope he will be more active for his future career and for his fans.   Though I can’t do much here with my time constraint, if you have any question let me know.   have fun

I found a few things in DC.   Yes CDaniel cancelled all of his SNS included IG (@Danielnote) about 2016.   No one can say why.  Someone asked about his FM.   He hasn’t done it either.   He did a couple of signing events and one birthday party(2013).   But I read he worked so much that his fans called him ox-Daniel.    Maybe he needed to earn money for some reason so he didn’t have time for other activates for his fans?  
He got discharged  9/29/2017 and signed with a new agency (제이와이드컴퍼니 jwidecompany )  Then he signed with Jugglers.   Baek Jin-hee belongs to the same company.  That’s why they took an IG photo together for Christmas greeting.   It seems this agency is big with a lot of members.   It’s possible his agency had a deal with a Jugglers production team through something like investment & profit sharing.    It may be CDaniel signed with a big agency because he felt it’s time for him to expand his career?   I’m happy to see his comeback drama is very popular.
