I have been waiting for this collab between Joongie and Moonie for what seems like forever (ok, 2 yrs, but that's like an eon in Kdrama years). So thrilled this is happening, and with a reputable writer to boot. Even if the PD is horrid, the script and acting should be enough to make this drama good.

BTW, I have been engulfed by life so I have yet to see Penny Pinching Romance/Cheap Love. Any ideas where I can watch/DL HQ version of the movie? I'm sure I can squeeze a movie in during the summer weekends - I hope.

And as always, I must commend you on your continued dedication to providing news and updates for lazy bums like me - I you!

Song Joong Ki cast as lead in melodrama

Actor Song Joong Ki was recently cast in the series Good Men.

Song decided to appear on KBS’s series Good Men, which is written by writer Lee Kyung Hee.

The series is a melodrama about a man who tries to get revenge on a woman after being betrayed by her by using a woman who lost her memory.

Many people are paying attention to the new series, written by Lee, who has written several emotional melodramas, including, I’m Sorry I Love You, Thank You, and Will it Snow for Christmas.

Song and Lee previously worked together on Will it Snow for Christmas.

Moon Chae Won is expected to be cast in the series as the lead actress. Good Men may air in August after the series Gaksital goes off the air.

Song Joong Ki - Moon Chae Won Couple Confirmed For ‘Nice Guy’

Actor Song Joong Ki (27) and actress Moon Chae Won (26) have been casted for KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Nice Guy.'

The two have recently completed their casting contracts and will appear as the lead roles in 'Nice Guy' premiering in August. As a drama produced by Sidus HQ, It is the new work of writer Lee Kyung Hee, who also wrote 2003's 'Sang Doo Let's Go To School' and 2004's 'I'm Sorry I Love You.'

According to a KBS drama representative on the 27th, "The actor that most drama writers prefer these days is Song Joong Ki. Many are anticipating the Song Joong Ki-Moon Chae Won couple in the second half of the year."

'Nice Guy' is a story of a man who was betrayed by the woman he loved as he uses the memory loss of another woman to seek revenge.

Yoo Ah In and Song Joong Ki Reunite for Fuji Camera CF

I’m always lamenting how K-dramas shy away from reuniting actors who have created unforgettable OTPs in another project, but the same lament goes for the even rarer instances where actors have created unforgettable bromances that might even have stolen a drama or two from the OTP.

Case in point would be Song Joong Ki and Yoo Ah In, who were the only reason I stuck around in Sungkyunkwan Scandal as long as I did. As Yeo Rim and Geol Oh, the pretty one and the rebellious one, they pretty much added all the fire and spice that was missing from the plain vanilla OTP in that drama. I love how much they cared about each other as friends (even with all the wink wink Yeo Rim really loves Geol Oh jokes aplenty), and how they found something reassuring and admirable in each other. Plus its undeniable that Song Joong Ki and Yoo Ah In had smoking chemistry with each other, in the non-romantic way, of course.

Fuji is smartly reuniting them to shill for its new camera, so here is a sneak peek at the upcoming CF.

Not sure why the concept appears to be contrasting spies vs. frat boys on holiday, but I’d be lying if I said I cared. If these two showed up in a potato sack I’d still be giddy as a bee.
