정지훈은 2003년 방송한 드라마 ‘상두야 학교가자’를 통해 배우로 데뷔로서 존재감을 나타냈다. 타이틀롤을 맡아, 신인답지 않은 역량을 펼친 것. 상대역인 공효진과도 풋풋하고 애절한 케미스트리를 뿜어냈다.

 

2004년 ‘풀하우스’로는 대세 반열에 올라섰다. 배우 정지훈의 가치를 확고히 했다. 상대역인 송혜교와의 깨알 케미스트리로 여심을 쥐락펴락했다.

Rain has returned, not the singer but the actor before the public eyes again on TV.

 

Rain took on an ace detective Kang Dong - soo in the JTBC drama 'Sketch'. 'Sketch' is a rhetorical action drama that tells the stories of those struggling to change a certain future. An ace detective who lost her lover and a female detective who can 'sketch' the future in 72 hours will pursue a murder case.

 

 

'Sketch' showed a good start from the first broadcast.  In Yoo's sketch, the death of his fiancé Min-ji-su was predicted and two people raised tension in the process of trying to stop it. From the first broadcast, 'Sketch', which gave an intense action, became a 'time-saver' drama.

 

Sketch also garnered a rating of 4% (based on Nielsen Korea) for paid households nationwide. It is a similar figure to the first episode.   It was a little lower than the Pretty Sister Who Buys Me Food, which recorded a 6.7%, but it is expected on the upward trend because the popularity from the viewers has been pouring. 

 

 

In 1998, he made his debut in the music industry with a group called FanClub but the group was short lived. They did not give a big impact at the time & the group was dismissed after a year.

 

Since then, he has appeared as a solo singer in 2002. He started his debut with a song "Bad Guy", then followed with albums like "How to Avoid the Sun", "It's Raining", "I'm coming", Rainism, LA SONG, etc. 

 

He continued his efforts without giving up his dream of becoming a singer even in a difficult environment. In addition, he was selected in Time Magazine as one of the 100 most influential figures of the time, and he established himself overseas. 

 

 

As an actor, he also made a splash. He showed stable performances in works such as 'Sangdoo, Let's Go to School' and 'Full House'. Since then, he has made his way into Hollywood movies and has acted by appearing in films such as 'Speed Racer' and 'Ninja Assassin'.

 

 

On January 19 of last year, Rain married the actress, Kim Tae - Hee. The couple has been in a relationship for four years and has a daughter now.

[20년 전 오늘] '월드 ★' 비, 화려한 안방극장 귀환 (ft.김태희 남편)

 

[스포츠서울 권준영기자] '월드스타' 비가 돌아왔다. 가수가 아닌 드라마의 주연배우로 다시금 대중 앞에 섰다.

 

비는 JTBC 금토 드라마 '스케치'에서 강력계 에이스 형사 강동수 역을 맡았다. '스케치'는 정해진 미래를 바꾸기 위해 고군분투하는 이들의 이야기를 담은 수사 액션 드라마다. 연인을 잃은 강력계 에이스 형사와 72시간 안에 벌어질 미래를 그림으로 '스케치'할 수 있는 여형사가 함께 공조 수사를 펼치며 살인 사건을 쫓는다.

'스케치'는 첫 방송부터 미(美)친 존재감을 과시했다. 지난 25일 첫 방송된 '스케치'에서는 강력계 에이스 형사 강동수(정지훈 분)와 미래를 그리는 형사 유시현(이선빈 분)이 공조를 시작하게 되는 과정이 전파를 탔다.

 

유시현의 스케치에는 약혼자 민지수(유다인 분)의 죽음이 예고됐고, 두 사람이 이를 막으려는 과정에서 극의 긴장감을 높였다. 첫 방송부터 몰입도와 긴장감을 선사한 '스케치'는 '시간 순삭' 드라마로 발돋움했다.

 

시청률도 선방해 '스케치'는 전국 유료 가구 시청률 4%(닐슨코리아 기준)를 기록하며 순항을 예고했다. 전작 '밥 잘 사주는 예쁜 누나' 첫 회와 비슷한 수치다. '밥 잘 사주는 예쁜 누나' 마지막 회가 기록한 6.7%에 비하면 다소 낮은 수치이나 시청자들의 호평도 쏟아지고 있어 상승세를 기대하게 했다.

1998년 그룹 팬클럽의 래퍼로 가요계에 첫발을 내디딘 비는 당시에는 큰 임팩트를 주지는 못했다.

 

이후 2002년 솔로 가수로 화려하게 비상해 데뷔곡 '나쁜 남자'를 시작으로 '태양을 피하는 방법', '잇츠 레이닝(It's Raining)', '아임 커밍(I'm coming)', '레이니즘(Rainism)', '라송(LA SONG)' 등 꾸준히 새 음반을 발표하며 존재감을 과시했다.

Action Star' Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) comes back after the 2009 'Hollywood' Ninja Assassin’s action movie.

 

Jung Ji-hoon plays as an ace detective in the JTBC drama "Sketch".  This will mark Rain’s first drama in two years, after SBS’s “Please Come Back, Mister.”

In this work, Jung Ji Hoon tries to make a prominent acting transformation. He has played many roles especially romantic comedy in his previous dramas, but in 'Sketch', it's more of action rather than romance.

 

RAIN Company, said, "It is the first time that he's doing action after Ninja Assassin in 2009 and KBS2 Fugitive Plan B in 2010. It is a more full-blown action than the 'Fugitive Plan B'. So, he prepared for this drama physically and mentally thoroughly than any other of his works. It will be a drama that can confirm the charm of an action star Jung Ji Hoon ".

 

In order to protect his lover, Jung Ji-hoon has practiced most of the actions scenes from fight on the boat to the underwater action scenes without any double. 

 

Lee Byeong-joon, the martial arts director who directs actors' acting on the spot, admits, "Jung-Ji hoon is a natural action star.  It was easy to do the action scenes because the basic action framework was well organized. "

 

 

 

 

The director said, "In the case of an actor who is new & has difficulty doing an action, this can be hard to co-stars and staffs, but Ji-hoon is a veteran. We do the scenes shortly & fast without many takes and all my staff were surprised. " 

 

The voyage scene mentioned by Lee Byung - joon was done at the end of March, when he began shooting the drama Sketch. Jung Ji-hoon has been good at doing action scenes from the beginning and it is easy to shoot since then. 

 

Meanwhile, 'Sketch' is a rhetorical action drama that tells the story of those struggling to change a certain future. [SS이슈]'액션 스타 비가 돌아온다', 10년만 '제대로 몸써볼까~'

 

[스포츠서울 이지석기자]‘액션 스타’ 비(정지훈)가 돌아온다. 2009년 할리우드 진출작 ‘닌자 어쌔신’ 이후 제대로된 액션 연기는 10년만이다.

 

정지훈은 오는 25일 첫방송되는 JTBC 새 금토 드라마 ‘스케치’(극본 강현성, 연출 임태우)에서 강력계 형사로 분해 열연한다. 그의 드라마 출연은 지난해 4월 종영한 SBS ‘돌아와요 아저씨’ 이후 2년 1개월 만이다.

 

이 작품에서 정지훈은 눈에 띄는 연기 변신을 시도한다. 그동안 드라마에서는 로맨틱 코미디의 주인공 역할을 많이 맡아왔지만 ‘스케치’에서는 웃음기 없는 연기를 선보인다. 로맨스 보다는 액션이 먼저다.

 

소속사 레인컴퍼니 관계자는 “2009년 ‘닌자어세신’, 2010년 KBS2 ‘도망자 플랜B’ 이후 본격적인 액션 연기는 처음이다. ‘도망자 플랜B’ 때보다 좀 더 본격적인 액션 연기를 펼친다. 그래서 본인도 여느 작품보다 육체적으로, 정신적으로 철저히 준비하며 이번 작품 촬영에 임했다. 액션 배우 정지훈의 매력을 확인할 수 있는 작품이 될 것”이라는 기대감을 표했다.

 

정지훈은 사랑하는 연인을 지키기 위해 물불을 가리지 않는 강력계 형사 동수를 표현하기 위해 배 위에서의 결투부터 수중 액션까지 대부분의 액션을 대역 없이 소화했다.

 

현장에서 배우들의 액션 연기를 지도하는 이병준 무술감독은 “정지훈은 타고난 액션배우”라고 극찬하며, “합을 인지하고 암기하는 데 타고났다. 기본 액션 틀이 잘 잡혀있어서 액션을 하는 데 수월했다”고 밝혔다.

이 감독은 “액션에 어려움이 있는 배우의 경우 호흡을 맞추는 배우나 스태프들이 힘들 수 있는데, 정지훈은 워낙 베테랑이다 보니 능수능란하게 소화를 했다”며 “첫 회에 나오게 될 바닷가 부두 씬은 원테이크 촬영으로 며칠을 생각한 분량이었다. 그런데 현장에서 짧게 맞춰본 후 단 두 번 만에 오케이 사인을 받아내 스태프들이 모두 놀랐다”고 말했다.

 

이병준 감독이 언급한 부두 씬은 ‘스케치’의 촬영을 막 시작했던 지난 3월 말에 이루어졌다. 정지훈이 초반부터 액션을 잘 잡아놓아 그 후로는 촬영이 수월했다는 후문이다.

The JTBC drama 'Sketch is garnering with the audience rating over 3 ~ 4%. 'Sketch' is a rhetorical action drama that tells stories of struggling to change a certain future. An Ace detective who lost her lover and a female detective who can 'sketch' the future in 72 hours will pursue a murder case.

 

 

Jung Ji-hoon plays the character as Kang Dong-soo, the man in his early 30s police officer at Seoul Jungbu Police Station and plays a man with passion and great analyzing skills. 'Sketch' has a genre that challenges him & this will mark Rain’s first drama in two years, after SBS’s “Please Come Back, Mister” and after the movie 'Ninja Assassin' (2009). 

 

 

In 'Sketch', the expectation for Ji-hoon will change. It was the first time that an action star was unveiled, capturing the attention of viewers. He fought with a gun. He threw his whole body away with a fierce real action. He was able to use the violent actions mixed with complicated emotions and led to a favorable response.

 

 

 

'Sketch' has a lot of action scenes. There is no exaggeration to say that there is Jung Ji Hoon in doing all these action scenes. Jung Ji-hoon's RAIN Company official, said, "The action scenes are increasing in 'Sketch'," He doesn't prefer to use the double because of his kind of personality, so even if it is difficult, he is studying the action scene to be shot while exchanging opinions with martial arts director and PD. "

 

 

He also added, "I just ask an opinion with the martial arts director and I go ahead to shoot when I get the okay sign from him. I feel comfortable working with my martial arts director."  Jung Ji-hoon, who has been receiving action training on the days when there is no shooting, is devoted to the drama.

 

 

"As an actor, I have come back for a long time and I am also taking care of myself.  Since the script is not easy, we continue researching and thinking about how to compile them. After fully mastering the script and how to do the action, it's only the time we started shooting. I was surprised when we were filming those scenes because I filmed them with only one take without any NGs."

 

 

The crew of the 'Sketch' said, "There is a part of Kang-Dong Soo's character, which is played by Jung-Ji hoon, that has to be more rough similar than the professional action stunt. Jung Ji-hoon is constantly practicing his action scenes to protect himself."

 

 

In the drama he loses the lover he was going to marry and struggles to reveal the truth behind her death. In the future, he will be able to place him in a confrontation with Kim Do-Jin played by Lee Dong Gun and Jung Jin Young.

[스포츠서울 신혜연기자]배우 정지훈이 영화 같은 액션 연기까지 소화하며 ‘만능 배우’ 면모를 뽐내고 있다.

 

JTBC 금토드라마 ‘스케치: 내일을 그리는 손’(이하 ‘스케치’)가 시청률 3~4%대를 넘나들며 순항 중이다. ‘스케치’는 정해진 미래를 바꾸기 위해 분투하는 이들의 이야기를 담은 수사 액션드라마다. 연인을 잃은 강력계 에이스 형사와 72시간 안에 벌어질 미래를 그림으로 ‘스케치’할 수 있는 여형사가 함께 공조 수사를 펼치며 살인 사건을 쫓는다.

 

정지훈은 극중 중기 경찰서 강력계의 에이스 강동수를 맡아 열정과 이성을 가진 형사이자, 한 여자에 대한 순정을 가진 남자를 연기한다. ‘스케치’는 SBS ‘돌아와요 아저씨’(2016) 이후 정지훈의 2년 만 복귀작이자 영화 ‘닌자어쌔신’(2009) 이후 9년 만에 도전하는 장르물로 방영전부터 많은 기대를 모았다.

 

‘스케치’ 첫회가 공개된 후 정지훈을 향한 기대는 확신으로 바뀌었다. 첫회부터 고난도 액션신을 선보여 시청자들의 눈길을 사로잡은 것. 총을 들고 숨가쁜 몸싸움을 벌이는가 하면 몸을 사리지 않은 채 온몸을 내던지며 치열한 리얼 액션을 선보이며 숨죽이게 만들었다. 복잡한 감정이 뒤섞인 격렬한 액션을 완벽하게 소화해내 호평을 이끌어냈다.

‘스케치’는 회를 거듭할수록 액션 신의 비중이 커지면서 풍성한 볼거리를 선사하고 있다. 액션 신의 중심에는 정지훈이 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 정지훈의 소속사 레인컴퍼니 관계자는 “‘스케치’에서 액션 신의 비중이 점차 커지고 있다”면서 “정지훈 씨는 직접 모든 액션 신을 소화하면서 열정을 불사르고 있다. 평소 성격상 대역을 쓰는 걸 선호하지 않기 때문에 힘들더라도 무술 감독, PD와 함께 의견을 주고 받으면서 액션 신을 연구하고 있다”라고 이야기했다.

 

또한 “현장에서 무술 감독님과 액션신을 한 번만 맞춰보고 바로 촬영에 들어가서 오케이 사인을 받아낸다”라며 “무술 감독님과 합이 좋고 춤, 운동으로 다진 내공이 빛을 발하고 있는 거 같다}라고 덧붙였다. 촬영이 없는 날에는 액션 트레이닝도 받고 있다는 정지훈은 드라마를 위해 온 정성을 기울이고 있다.

 

이와 관련 ”배우로서는 오랜만에 복귀라 본인도 신경을 많이 쓰고 있다. 대본이 쉽지 않기 때문에 계속 연구하고 어떻게 소화할지 고민한다. 대본과 액션 등을 모두 완벽하게 숙지한 후에 촬영에 임하고 있다. NG 없이 원테이크로 촬영해 제작진도 놀랐다고 한다“라고 전했다.

 

‘스케치’ 제작진은 “정지훈 씨가 맡은 동수 역은 전문적인 액션과는 다르게 더 거칠게 보여줘야 하는 부분이 있다. 정지훈은 생동감을 살리기 위해 액션을 계속 반복 연습하고 있다”라고 말했다.

 

정지훈이 그려내고 있는 동수 역은 액션뿐만 아니라 능청스럽고 뻔뻔한 면도 갖고 있는 입체적인 캐릭터다. 앞으로 죽은 연인을 위해 이기적인 모습도 드러낼 예정으로, 복잡한 감정이 담긴 심리 연기를 펼칠 것으로 기대된다. 앞으로 그가 이동건, 정진영과 어떤 대립각을 그릴지도 관전 포인트다.

June 13 marks the day for local elections in South Korea.

 

Ahead of election day, early voting was held on June 8 and 9. Celebrities showed up strong at the polls and also encouraged fellow citizens to vote by posting on social media.

Rain married the national goddess Kim Tae-hee in early 2017. In October of the same year, she gave birth to a daughter. After, Rain returned quickly to the limelight, Kim Tae-hee focused on raising their daughter. Only recently that she said she will already return.
