it looks like they are really following the manga..

even in the HYD version.. makino was happy that she had a date with

rui... no doubt about that becoz rui was her 1st love.. tsukasa followed them

to see makino having lunch with rui... if my memory serves me right.. i think

after this date.. makino realized that she really indeed have feelings for tsukasa..

i think this is the moment where JD realizes that she likes JP too...

Ok, a lot has been said... good and bad..we can't avoid compairing with JPN & TW drama version though all in all I'm really glad they have YJ & GE that the two other version doesn't have. But of course I am not disappointed with the F4 members especially to Joon Pyo since he surely can act and JH improves a lot, my disappointment lies to Jandi and PD since it looks like there's something in the execution of the story. I read some script from dramabeans.com and some scenes were omitted by the PD ( I actually like the Joon Pyo doll scene -curly hair doll) hahaha! that looks hilarious. In this episode, I really hate Jandi's reaction after JH hug and kissed her - seriously the PD should at least let Jandi looks at JP and kinda feel guilty on what was happening with F4 if her heart is not with JP yet. I don't feel any compassion from Jandi and most of the time she's overacting in some scenes. I know that's not what i'm feeling when i watched Meteor Garden and Boys over Flower JPN version. My heart still goes to Shancai and Makino since they are both doesn't know how to deal with the new feelings towards Rui/lei & Dao Ming Si/Tsukasa. And I agree that the friendship of F4 here is not that strong. Thanks to JP, YJ and GE character - I am still looking for the rest of the episode.

I think Jun Pyo could have learned how to swim, but he's a really stubborn guy so he won't dare to face his fears. The only reason why Ji Hoo learned to drive was because of Seo Hyun's support. If Jun Pyo had support from someone important to him, then I think he would've learned swimming.

I think the only sort of friendship I can sense with Ji Hoo is Woo Bin. The poor guy is stuck in the middle, but I think he's kinda leaning on Ji Hoo's side while Yi Jung is a supporter of Jun Pyo not giving a second glance at Ji Hoo.

This may not matter to anyone, but i kind of wish Jan Di will win the swimming competition..~~ even though the swimming competition might not even go through due to the original storyline, but we'll see. I just want her to win b/c i feel like she needs to be recognized for what her character is good at in the drama: swimming! I feel bad for the poor girl, ever since she's came to Shinhwa College she's been mistreated. I just want to see her shine for what she's good at (it's just in my nature, but i feel bad when someone isn't recognized for their hard work and determination.. so it probably doesn't matter much hehehhh). xDxD Oh yeah, and to speak of the sexism implied in this drama. I want her to prove Yi Jeong wrong! (I love Kim Bum too ) haha..

But about Jan Di being happy on the date w/ Ji Hoo..~~ why can't she be happy? It's something she's never imagined would happen w/ this person that she admires. I'd be happy myself. But i'm sure, it's one of those "at-the-moment" kind of moments.. where she's happy, but once she thinks of Joon Pyo, her heart will cringe. And.. she'll be confused as to why she feels so bad. xDD ~~

I mean, there are hints related to it everywhere- Junpyo's obsession with astronomy is pretty obvious imo...

yesyesyes, i see it I want the telescope scene too for this version. IMO, its one of the sweetest moments in the story.

and lol, just because i was mentioning about the telescope, it made me remember again how junpyo was dying of hunger in this episode.

yeah, I think so. Maybe when WB and YJ talk about JD and JH's dating, he imagines that and then feel jealousy so he follows them. Poor him.

I actually liked this episode and the 2 out of 3 competition. More than anything, I liked that the competion boiled down to equestrian which JiHoo was better at and expected to win, but lost ( whether cheating or not) and the car race wich Jun Pyo was expected to win, but lost. I understand why Yoonhee was smiling. Here are these rich kids who are use to getting whatever they want and always winning. Each was given a little touch of humility.

As for the F4, they are real friends. A real friend will laugh with you and at you, but will be on your side. I don't think that they dislike Ji Hoo at all. Ji Hoo by his very nature is somewhat of a loner and is moody. They know that and respect his feelings so they usually let him go his own way, but are still his best friends because they know him best. Yeung is acting the way he is because he is hurt over what Ji Hoo did to a fellow best friend. And the scene where they all support Jun Pyo is a follow-up to Yeung's conversation with Ji Hoo when he told him that this time he would have no one on his side and not to be disappointed/hurt.

What I found interesting is that when the F3 are in the game room there are glimpses that Yeung and Woobin does not believe that Jandi and Ji Hoo's relationship is what it appears to be. They question when did Ji Hoo and Jandi become so serious and the fact that they appear to be overly lovey dovey. This sort of sets the stage for them to come together to get Jandi and Jun Pyo back together.

As for Jandi, I don't feel that she was just sitting there going with the flow. She was over her head and caught up in this whirlwind of rich people and the strong presence of Yoonhee. However, when there reached a point where she could step in and control her own destiny she did so.

I love this drama and feel that the actors/actress' are doing a good job. I especially like GSH and LMH.

I love GaEul and Yi Jeong's scene. It was so brief, but the tension and the chemistry is so there. When she seeked him out the at the swimming pool, there was a brief minute that Yi Jeong was happy to see her.

As for JanDi, I'm still incredibly annoyed by her acting. I still want to cover her face with a paperbag so that I don't have to be annoyed by her annoying and ugly expressions when she tried to act like she's 12.

If you want to see acting, you should see kim so eun in Empress Chun Chu. A complete and separate character from her cute role GaEul.

Riding horses:

-Pyo won with Jupiter's broken strengthen and not be able to run again for his winning's desire. Pyo regreted it after seeing the results, what hes done!

-JI Hoo lost the game happily. He did not blame on his horse. He feed his horse with graceful attitude, happy smiles like friends to the horse even though his horse and him just lost the match. Ji Hoo doesnt care the result as long as his horse and him are safe and knowing they did try their best.

Racing cars is JiHoo's biggest fear: Ji Hoo did not give up, he accepted to do it without any complains. Because he did say he will protect JD, he will do it until the end

Swimming is Pyo's biggest fear: Pyo said: "No i wont do it...!!!!" and he ended up not doing it with his 2 bestfriend's help!!!!!

I'm talking about the script, about the characters' personality, not about Lee Min Ho or Kim HyunJoong's actings... They all do great job at acting, especially Lee Min ho, my favorite Tsukasa within 3 versions
