This drama actually turned out a LOT better than I expected. To be honest, I didn't have high hopes for Yoon Eunhye's acting in the beginning. The performances from the entire cast and the storyline got better and better though as I watched more and more. Especially Shin. *swoon* He looked so ugly when I first saw the pics for the drama, and now...I feel like eating those words and slapping myself. haha. I also loved how they tied in other royal family stories such as Camilla and Romeo and Juliet...that was a very nice connection made by the writers.

ya..you said everything right from my mouth ..at first i thought why is this prince so ugly. as the characters and storyline got better ..i found out that Shin actually quite good-looking ..as for YEH, i thought she's sweet and cute and lack of acting skills but she turns out to be pretty and extra sweet..As both are beginners, i thought they acted like pros..I think that their roles are meant for each other.. their storyline is quite special and unique as they brought in the new and modern lives of the new era of korea royal throne.. not many dramas did that..that's what make Goong special..their music and costumes are perfectly wonderful..i wish i can have those..

can i give my opinion on goong two? cus ive just read the post tht goongers are concerning it might be bad. id love goong 2 if they make the story about yoolgoon's love life, and shin n chagyung wont be the main characters in the film, i hope it will tell more about the friends' love life and also my dear prince yool. just my two cents

when i first started this drama i also thought eun hyes acting was kind of iffy but once it got to around ep 5 or so i was in love with her after that point bot her and ji hoon both acted like pros and the ending i thought was better and a lot different than i expected.....

the only thing that i didnt like though was that around eps 17-19 or so it kinda got a bit repetative.....shin hurts chaegyung she goes crying to yul yul comforts her by making her feel even worse and saying that shin is meant to be with hyorin -____-

hi lualm! Without an awesome soundtrack, we wouldnt love this series as much. All the songs match well with the scenes and emotions of the characters.. I also love the song by Stay! my number 2 on 25 most played songs in my mp3.

Goong 2 OST was ok... but nothing beats perhaps love.

Personally, I prefer the background music, during the scene after Chae-gyung says "divorce" on public TV. It's the saddest, yet loveliest music piece I've ever heard. I don't know the name of is, though.

However, it's not "officially" in the OST. It is in #10 & #13 in the Goong OST , though, where Chae-gyung & Shin talks & it is played in the background.
