Guest hushed_secrets
During weekly practices, Mr. Lead Singer aka Mr. Follow-the-Rules-of--not-Dating-while-in-church-worship-team would do run throughs of songs. After I did the sound check I would curl up with me legs criss-cross-applesauce in the very back or sometimes smack right in the middle and listen to him for an hour. He would look me right in the eye while strumming and singing softly into the mic. You know, the soulful eyes that every drama is obligated to have.Everyone would jump at the chance to leave when the hour was finished but I'd stay a little behind to clean up the papers. He'd slip up behind me and wait as I locked up. The few times I wasn't able to do the job he'd take the keys and do it for me. Then he'd walk me to my car and tell me he'd see me the following week. Those 2 years were the most korean drama-esque years of my life thus far. Perhaps because there was an essence of forbidden love, introduction to each other's parents, and the charismatic oppa figure. I miss having a figure like him in my life. Guest nameless
A guy appeared out of nowhere in front of me while I was walking to class. He handed me a piece of folded paper. I asked "What is this?" and looked up. He disappeared. When I opened it, there was nothing but a drawing of a heart.I guess it's more j-drama material
lee-chan
Well I remember we were in the mall, and I was kinda sick at that time. He suddenly knelt down (facing his back) and told me he would give me a piggy back ride since I was sick. It was rather embarrassing (me not used to gestures like these) but sweet. davidjaylee
One day while I was at my college drawing in the outside music/art quad. I saw this beautiful girl, she had long black hair that was slightly flowing in the wind. She was sitting on a cement bench under a cherry blossom tree while I continued to stare. She was listening to her MP3 player and looking a bit sad. Suddenly there was a gust of wind that caused some of the blossoms to fall. Time slowed down at this moment and I felt my heart tingle a bit. She didn't seem to notice at all, she appeared to be out of this world. I wish I had my camera at that moment, I think this is like a drama moment.
x_intotheblue_x
Yes. Though technically I *witnessed* the Korean Drama moments. Two involve Gangpae (깡패) when I was living in Songtan. So I was walking home from the train station. And as I got to the road I lived on an Ajjushi was opening up one of the shops on the corner that was usually closed, I don't recall it being open during the day. So he was opening it up, lifting the garage door type cover from over the door and windows...When suddenly this car pulls up and six dudes spill out of it. And I kid you not, they were dressed in cheesy suits like in the movies. One dude even had a silk looking leopard print button up shirt under his suite jacket. Two big guys, Three "eh" sized guys and an older looking dude around the same age as the Ajjushi. So four of the dudes spread out and stand in the center of the road and the other two approach the panicking Ajjushi. Who, as soon as he saw the guys getting out of the car, freaked and started pulling the door back down to close back up. One of the big guys looked at me and I looked pulled out my phone like I had a text and kind of played stupid and kept walking. My Husband didn't believe me and thought I had misunderstood something going on around me.Until a little over a month later when he was walking with me from the train station one evening and the SAME THING HAPPENED. He kept going Holy ****! Holy ****! Under his breath and I basically told him to keep quiet, stop staring and drug him past. Yeah, we were foreigners. He said it sounded like they were asking for a late payment. So probably loan sharks.Another time, I woke up really early in the morning to a screeching OPPAAAAA! And got up to look out the balcony window to see a young couple finishing up a fight apparently. With the guy throwing down some flowers and storming off with the girl calling after him and stomping her foot with her fists clenched. And of course, numerous incidents with shop Ahjummas an Ahjusshis loudly carrying on at each other. And another time, there was this poor guy that showed up with an ice cream cake and flowers for the teen that lived in the apartment next to us. He waited almost all day before leaving looking devestated. Leaving the flowers at the door and taking the melted cake with him. Later that evening as I was going out, she came home escorted by a different boy and ignored the flowers.

Guest
My life is a Korean (or Japanese) drama... One where everyone seems to know everyone at some point or another, and I'm dodging bullets every time I run into someone new..This year is the most dramatic year I've ever had, and damn has it been an interesting (and random albeit hilarious) roller coaster. Let me count the ways:That time your coworker kisses you and you jump back in shockThat time your meet up with a classmate (who you've chatted with briefly in passing) for an event and he asks you out on a date to KBBQ. Yes that's right, Korean BBQThat time you start going to church and are surrounded by Koreans (that feel)When you get called out weekly by your manager who jokes that you eat everything in sightWhen your handsome friend does couple-y stuff with you, despite being "just friends" oh man, Kdrama moments..When you find out everyone knows everyone, so there's random gossip (hilarious)Your friend LEGIT meets a kpop celebrity *fangirls in jealousy*When you show up to your guy friend's drunk after drunk texting them, and you just pass out on their bed (and nothing bad happens). Seriously, I can't even lolWhen you come back home the next morning to your parents and they ask you where you've been (thanks, I'm 26 years old you guys)Every time you party hard on a weeknight and tell yourself "I am living a double life" because your coworkers think you're super nerdy/awkward/introverted in a corporate environment *puts on Clark Kent glasses*Spontaneous trip to a foreign country (Japan) to figure out your life... Spontaneous trip to SF because you want to feel cultured and escape your hometown while living vicariously because YOLOFeeling like Do-jin (Jang Dong-gun) in A Gentleman's Dignity EVERY DAMN DAYStruggle is real. WINTER IS COMING.
Guest severus
That one time I was a poor but pretty girl underneath my glasses and peasant clothing, and fell in love with a ill-mannered mogul with a heart of gold. I got hit by a car, went blind. He gave me both his eye balls, went blind. I got cancer, he got amnesia, forgot why he's blind. Life goes on, in the words of Tupac. The end. Guest alleyes
It happened when I was younger. There was a guy who used to always tease me. One day, he stubbornly rode at the back of my bicycle. As I just went on with my biking, he was shouting "WOOHOOO" and was suddenly raising his hands and stuff. Then, I think he was too loud that a dog went after us so he bugged and scolded me to go faster. It didn't stop there, for when the dog was gone and I was calmly feeling the touch of wind, I felt something else. It was cold and weird. Suddenly, he shouted "COCKROACHES!" We screamed and screamed cos there were a lot of flying cockroaches, as if riding with us. So I made the bike run harder and faster than when we were being chased by the dog! Hahaha! Looking back that was a fun and nice childhood memory.
Guest mackyhyung
Yes, and it was more than just a moment, it was a reunion. You see, I lost my sister around 2 months ago and up until a week ago we found her! If I had to describe this moment, the best drama to show this moment would be the father-daughter reunion scene in episode 27 of Shining Inheritance. :')
