Song Hye-kyo donated a large information board to Utoro, Japan.

 

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of liberation, Song Hye-kyo and Professor Seo Gyeong-deok of Sungshin Women's University worked together to donate a large information board to the village of Utoro, Japan.

 

This wooden sign is 2 meters wide and 1.5 meters long, and was also produced in Korean, Japanese and English.

The characteristic of this sign is that it has been constantly communicating with the villagers of Utoro from several months ago, and it was produced with the phrases and designs they wanted.

 

Professor Seo was in charge of the planning and promotion of this work, and Song Hye-kyo was in charge of sponsorship. In particular, they also donated 20,000 copies of guidebooks in Korean and Japanese to Utoro Village.

 

For the past nine years, Song Hye-kyo and Prof  Seo have consistently donated Korean guides, Korean signs, and artifacts from independence activists to 23 sites around the world for the past nine years.

 

Professor Seo said, "The visitor got to the subway station and felt a little difficult to go to the Utoro town hall,'Eruhwa', so we installed the information board at the entrance of the village."
