Lee Juk shares how Jun Ji Hyun reacted when he rejected her request to sing at her wedding

Veteran singer Lee Juk shared how he ended up accepting Jun Ji Hyun's request to sing at her wedding.

 

On the December 20 airing of MBC's 'Radio Star', Lee Juk explained, "I have this rule of my own to not sing congratulatory songs for someone who I don't know personally." However, Lee Juk revealed he sang at Jun Ji Hyun's wedding without having any deep connections to the couple.

He explained, "I get a lot of requests calls for events due to the popularity of 'It's Fortunate'. I didn't want to be singing the song for business. So I declared to only sing it for people I know personally. Jun Ji Hyun and her husband requested me to sing the congratulatory song (at their wedding) and I rejected."

 

Lee Juk continued, "But then the couple said, 'We can become someone you know. Let's have a meal together.' So before the wedding, my family and I had a meal with Jun Jin Hyun and her husband. We also ate together twice after I sang the congratulatory song."

Jun Ji Hyun is awaiting the birth of her second child!

Her agency Culture Depot shared on December 28, “Jun Ji Hyun is in her 36th week of pregnancy and is expected to give birth in late January of next year.”

The agency added that her second child is also a boy and that she has been resting comfortably.

Jun Ji Hyun married a financier named Choi Jun Hyuk in 2012. They gave birth to their first son in February 2016, and it was confirmed in June of this year that they are expecting their second child.
