Actor Yoo Seung Ho received his first vacation from the military since he was enlisted nine months ago.

On September 16, SportsSeoul reported that Yoo Seung Ho went to a dental office located in Sinsa-dong in Gangnam-gu for a checkup. He is currently tanned and has lost some weight, but showed exemplary behavior bowing and greeting the workers and clients at the office.

One of his agency’s representative stated, “Yoo Seung Ho came out for vacation on Saturday, September 14. Since he’s an assistant drill sergeant, he gets to receive four days and three nights of vacation after finishing a training period . He’s spending his vacation well and will return to base tomorrow.”

Yoo Seung Ho secretly enlisted on March 5 as a full service soldier. He was assigned to the 27th Infantry Division after completing basic mandatory training and is currently serving as an assistant drill sergeant for new recruits.

Actor Yoo Seung-ho is going back to his base after enjoying a short leave with his family members.

Yoo Seung-ho took time off from his military unit last Saturday and is returning to his unit located in the city of Chuncheon, Korea today, an official with Yoo’s agency San Entertainment told TenAsia on Tuesday.

The official explained that the 20-year-old actor spent the most of time with his family members except going to see the dentist, when he was exposed to the public.

He continued that every trainer in a recruit training center gets four days of break after the training for one unit is over, which takes seven weeks average, so this is not his first time to take a leave.

Debuted as a child actor, Yoo has cemented his career by starring in several popular TV series, such as “Love Letter,” “The Great Queen Seondeok,” “Master of Study” and most recently, “Missing You.”

Since March, the actor has been serving his mandatory military service, required for all Korean men, as a rank-and-file soldier. His duty is a trainer in a recruit training center. The actor is set to be discharged from his duty on December 4, 2014.
