I Love Asia Project "Smile Again", to raise fund and to encourage the 2008 Sichuan earthquake surviors to stand up again, Yoo participated with other celebrities, Hallyu stars to lend their voices, motivated by Jackie Chan (supported by Producer JYP, and Director Kang Je-kyu). Take note, that Yoo is standing right in front, its something that although our Yoo is not the main focus here, but we believe its something that he loved doing, however small a role he was within, its something that can inspired him.

The Child Foundation and KBS co-sponsored mission, The Actor worked with some Sri Lanka children victimized by a long 26 yrs civil war. Day One found himself patiently listened to tragic locals tell their pain of not be able to go back to their home towns and losing their beloved family members.  Then, the compassionated actor endured a 6 hrs bumpy car ride to build a school building for poverty stricken kids, Yoo befriended Diranka, a kid suffered from Brittle Bone Disease (where patient's bones start breaking down and incurable at moment.)Post returned from slum, Yoo revealed having wrote a heartfelt diary about his sentiments, during a Korea Charity Show "Love Request", sang a duet together with IU, lyrics with references to that moving diary.

• Yoo Seung Ho declined "special admission" offers from prestigious Korean Universities upon his graduation from Baekshin High School in Goyang.  He said he decided to forgo college in order to pursue acting full time, instead of having a difficult time balancing school work, and his acting career, adding that he "didn't want to enter a university until he find what he really want to study.  His decision was received positively, amidst mounting criticism of celebrities college students with lackluster attendance records.(cr: wikipedia)
•  Yoo quietly enlisted for his mandatory military service as a regular soldier on 5 March 2013, reportedly working as a trainer of new recruits. He drew praises for doing so at age 19. This movie kicked richard simmons. It was so sad and believable. YSH owned this movie. He's on my list of brilliant actors. I'm amazed. Definitely recommended. He really knows how to cry. It's gutwrenching to watch.

I know what you mean. When you look at him, it's hard to imagine that his voice isn't prepubescent. It's a really charismatic voice.
