@MadraRuaI'm sure both are super friendly people. I play with Scots quite frequently and from the video above I feel like the Irish pronounce the vocals way more friendly. Scots do roll the "r", but that's why I say they sound "darker".

Maybe it's a cultural thing but to me the Scots accent is friendly and I would prescribe 'darker' aka sinister to the upper crust English accent.

@Dhakra Ah no don't get me wrong, the Scots are super friendly people and sound af, they tend to roll their r's more but the accent is actually nicer than a typical Irish accent. Think Sean Connery - fine thing in his hey day - and Billy Connolly. Their comedians also have a dry sense of humour. Very funny people. The Irish accent is more sing songey.. we tend to go up and down a cadence when we speak. But it depends what part of the country your from. Personally I don't like the Dublin or Northern Ireland accents - too nasally and stringent. That video above were a couple of farmers from Kerry. Generally, the accent softens the further down south you go.

@MadraRua K2 has JCW, who is mighty fine especially in action scenes, but it has a really not very good plot which meant that after the initial couple of episodes, I just watched JCW's action sequences on YT, and didn't bother with the plotting. I think the K2 was also my introduction to Yoona which was unfortunate. Fortunately, she was a lot better in the movie Confidential Assignment, even though it was a bit part. The character development was part of the problem for the K2 for me. Plus, I think JCW spent nearly the whole drama cut up and bruised up.

Funnily enough your not the only person to suggest a weak second half for the drama..... I'm watching but I can't guarantee there won't be liberal use of the fast forward button if things go richard simmons up. At this stage, and on episode 3, I'm persevering purely for Ji Chang Wook...

I'm not hiding behind anyone but this does smack of a witch hunt. My reply to you yesterday isn't deleted by the way, it's hidden so staff can see it. I don't want to engage you in a war of words on the forum, that why I've decided to take a step back because now I'm personally involved. You made it personal which it was never meant to be. I'm not going to engage you in a war of words either. I've said all I'm going to say on this subject and my apologies to the While You Were Sleeping thread for being dragged into this mess. If you want to continue this 'discussion' we can do so as mature adults in the PM system. I'm always open to talk.

Indeed - there is always the question, if you try to prevent the future, then what other kind of future happens?

    that is always the question

Try not to think on it too much...

I'm wondering why the second force - God - is sending the premonitions and why only to these two? That red string of fate is working overtime. Is it because Death has already cheated lives before their time and now it's time to send us two avenging angels? angel2-onion-head-emoticon.gifSo they could be correcting the time continuum and not destroying it? confused-onion-head-emoticon.gif

I already can't stand her slick lawyer ex and his awful habit of tearing up bits of paper.. then leaving the mess behind. I'm sure that'll come in to play later. They're not showing it just to annoy us .... I hope.

That's what I'm afraid of. He saved three lives that night - Hong Joo, her mother and the pedestrian. Knocking their car of course led to saving the pedestrian first. Then the follow on that her mother wouldn't be working that job to try and recompense the victims family. So she wouldn't have fallen down the stairs to her death and Hong Joo wouldn't have committed suicide. That's three lives from the clutches of the grim reaper. There has to be a reckoning, like what you see in the Final Destination films. The one's who escaped but should have died, died later on in horrible ways. Or this is PG Rated so we won't have the horror  The pedestrian will go first and that'll give them a warning that all is not what it seems... Realistically I can't see the mother being saved... Poor Hong Joo. But there may be a way to save Hong Joo - a life for a life maybe? Although if your in that position I can't imagine you would want someone else to go in your stead. Maybe they won't have a choice though.
