    It is nice to see she took some time off to enjoy herself. Ninja fans found the hotel, it is the Four Seasons in Samui in Thailand. 

     

    Her swimsuit is from One Piece, she is always saying how she is a big One Piece fan but it seems like she is a bigger fan than I thought lol

    OGT has done zero promos, they put out a trailer months ago but that was it. And they have kept production pretty secretive. However, fans are ninjas. And the second lead was recording a song for the drama not that long ago. Along with another singer. The person that made the post said that he expects the two songs to become popular after the drama airs. 

     

    The second female lead also implied that it would air in July back in April. And iQIYI made sure to tell everyone that they have rights to the drama and that it will air this Summer just a few days ago. I am anticipating it this Summer unless something happens with SARFT.

    I hope the official weibo pages goes through some revival, so far they only follow ZLY and have like 3 posts.

    Known information is that it will air on Dragon TV during primetime. Streaming rights are said to be sold to iQIYI and Tencent. I also saw the number of episodes go up but I hope they didnt. I am tired of dramas dragging their storyline. This can be told in ~35 or so episodes. Let's hope.

    It is hard to say but so far they have the Chen Kun drama for early June. Then the rumor is that afterwards they will air a remake of that popular tdrama where friends fall in love. I read somewhere that the remake only has ~25 episodes which will probably only take two weeks to air. 

     

    Then OGT for July 18. We have to wait as it gets closer to that date to see if they are going through with it. I have been pretty convinced since Dragon bought OGT for prime time that they would air it during Summer. ZLY is popular with school kids. And TV stations air their most high profile dramas during the Summer. It is just a matter of timing. They want to time it so that the drama will get more views, etc.

    not confirmed but guest are said to be Zhang Yixing, Zhao Liying, Ma Tianyu, Lin Xinru (Ruby Lin), etc.

     

    Yeah I don't know what are the exact criteria for the awards. Fans vote and say you only need to vote but other people win.

    More rumors about ZLY for that eating variety show. But instead of a cast member they have her a guest. I hope she does participate.

    I don't know if voting is the only measurement. I remember earlier in the year ZLY won the most votes for something but YangMi received the award and she was a couple spots down the list.

    SARFT is still in place. I wonder if they are each taking a pay cut, which is possible.

    He is not that good, but there are so many weak male actors getting big roles that I don't even count that. At least he is not that bad and I have seen pretty horrendous male leads in cdramas, but at least they are more popular than him. And I do like him bc he has a pretty face lol. 

     

    JH is pretty good, he has the bad guy down. I liked him in Princess Weiyoung way better. His styling was better too. I think he fits those roles. My guess he is playing a supporting role in this drama, but a more important role since he is one of the few actors that appears on their first weibo post. 

     

    EDIT: I read he will be playing the brother of the main lead, it already sounds like he will be playing the evil brother lol

    ZLY's studio actor Jin Han just booked another drama. I normally wouldnt mention it but since her studio is pretty small, it probably takes a lot more for them to book a job.

    Jin Han is her best known actor, but I really hope Wang Jie gets more jobs. He has been pretty much jobless for a year. ZLY got him some stuff on two commercials and fans spotted him as a servant on the trailer for MingLan. The struggle. Reminds me of ZLY doing a lot of servant roles and small roles before her break. 

     

    The other actor under her company will make his acting debut this year and even he seems a bit more active than poor Wang Jie.

    This company uses a lot of different factors which are mostly based on fan activity online, so the levels go up when celebrities are promoting. I know some of it depends on fan comments on weibo posts. Both actresses had dramas come out this year and I think YangMi has some variety show. So they are both pretty active and their fandom is too. 

    Since ZLY has been inactive for pretty much a year and her weibo posts are only to promote products, she doesn't get as many points in some categories.

    Rumor is OGT is tentative to air July 18. Before there is a Chen Kun drama confirmed for June and I also saw rumors of another drama slated before OGT but those are a bit more iffy. 

    Most people are saying it will air in July or August at the latest.

    so yeah the rumor has always been Summer for Our Glamorous Time. If it does air during the Summer it would be after the Chen Kun drama that got pushed back, which is now slated for June. 

     

    Furball is such a star. He appears in so many commercials. He is probably feeling super lucky that ZLY adopted him :lol: like yes I am living the life.

    lol I was about to post about that XieNa weibo post. 

     

    What happened was that XieNa went to an event and when she got out of the car, one of the fans waiting (a guy) called out Zhao Liying to her. She turned to him and laughed.

     The classic 2001 television drama Romance in the Rain <情深深雨濛濛> starring Vicki Zhao Wei (赵薇),Leo Ku (古巨基), Ruby Lin (林心如), and Alec Su (蘇有朋) will be remade for a new generation, and it looks like it’s going to be another classic in the making.

     

    On January 2, the studios announced the cast for the remake of Romance in the Rain, which is based on the 1964 novel Fire and Rain <煙雨濛濛> byChiung Yao (瓊瑤). Zanilia Zhao Liying (赵丽颖), who was confirmed to star in early 2017, will play Lu Yiping, which was originally portrayed by Vicki Zhao in the 2001 adaptation. Wang Xiaochen (王晓晨) will be playing Ruby Lin’s role, Lu Ruping. Ray Zhang (张睿) will star as Leo Ku’s character, He Shuhuan. Du Fei, a role originally played by Alec Su, will be portrayed by Zhang Ruoyun (张若昀).

    Nirvana in Fire <琅琊榜> star Wang Kai (王凯) will make a special supporting appearance, portraying Lu Erhao, the older brother of Ruping.

    Wang Lin (王琳) will reprise her original role as Aunty Xue, Ruping’s power-hungry mother.

    The original 1964 novel, one of Chiung Yao’s most popular works, follows 20-year-old Lu Yiping, the daughter of a former Chinese warlord who fled to Taiwan after the Communist Revolution.     I really like this show, and was hoping they'll do a remake of this drama. It will be so great if ZLY plays the main character LYP becos she can materialize her dream to be a singer while qorking as an actress:D

     

    probably false, I have been seeing this same rumor for years. However, she and Wang Kai are unlikely to take on a remake. The reason is that remakes usually get a lot of hate. At their level there is no added benefit of doing a remake and not one as popular as this one. 

    It will probably be some rising actors or rookies that get casted.
