As for FJ and DH...
I believe DH is pushing FJ away because he knows he's dying. Like what we saw at the beginning of ep 47, when he was talking to the other diety, he is aware that his time is coming. He probably does love FJ but doesn't want her to endure the pain of him leaving her. He knows she will wait for thousands of years for his return. We all know that MY's parent (the creator) died too and hasn't returned. DH is one of the last remain God from the beginning of time (Zhe Than, Mo Yuan, Heavenly King, and BQ's parents are the other), therefore it is his fate to go. In PB, even DH doesn't know when he will leave , but I'm guessing this drama will take the extra step and make him die now.
This drama DH, instead of being stubborn and fight his fate, he will accept it and not hurt FJ.. You know if it's the DH in PB, he would do all he could to ensure his return..he's just Badass like that.
I will take the previous spoiler with a grain of salt, but not having any high hopes anymore.. boo hoo.
I think somebody did mention before, I can see why DH/FJ's love story is not getting a lot of attention. If the writer for this drama, wants to make their love story as great as the book or close enough, they will definitely steal the spotlight from BQ and YH. And that is NOT what this drama is about. It is called the Thousand Miles Peach Blossom, BQ & YH's love story.
Even if there are 10 more episodes, I will accept whatever ending DH/FJ will have. I just want them to show up more. They are very pleasing to the eyes..Even though I'm a girl (and Married....) I think I have crushes on both of these actors.
Maybe I will watch Vengao and Dilraba in other drama..but can't imagine Vengao without silver hair and purple robe.
I do believe that DH does have feelings for FJ, but I don't think it's deep enough for him to fight against all odds to be with her like in the PB. In the PB even when he thought he was going to die, he fought to the bitter end to see her one last time and to carved out his heart and gave it to her as a protection. That's the DH I want to see. But I get it. This is not their story and they shouldn't steal the thunder from the lead couple.
I'm a little conflicted. I wish that they didn't touch DH & FJ story in this drama, but if they hadn't, we wouldn't get to see amazing chemistry between Dilabra and Vengao. I already read the PB book like three times already. Something funny from quoted from DH's butler
"His Majesty (DH) asked him what would be the best way to off someone so that no one would notice his absence. He is a principled fairy all of his life, of course he couldn't offer a good advice regarding this. Dijun seemed disappointed."
The person DH wants to obliterate is Warrior Yan Chiwu.
Anyway I hope Vengao is still in LuRuge with Dilabra. I really want to see them in ancient drama together now, hopefully one day, as the lead couple with a much better ending than this.

I'll watch it for YH and BQ. I actually really do love them too, but it's just they can't beat my love for DH and FJ from the novel and maybe I also like Dilabra and Vengo chemistry a wee bit more as well. I think I will go back and watch Vlove for Dilraba and Vengo kiss scene and hug scenes. Most likely I'll also re-watch their mortal scenes as well. Why can't DH be like his mortal self?

I think he's trying to end it once and for all. I think we all just have to forget the DH from PB. They are not the same characters. I think the DH in the drama just doesn't like FJ that much. I guess the theme for DH and FJ in the drama is one-sided love.

Yes but I don't think he's the lead. But that's ok because if he's playing the protective guy who likes her, that role is pretty good. It's like his role as DH.

The kissing scene in the forehead (gosh why they only have one kiss scene and it must be in the forehead) , FJ is still wearing the pastel dress and it looks like they are in DH's chamber. Is this after she went to carve his name on the Fate Stone? If it's the case their ending is still open to many questions. Especially, they haven't given us a satisfactory explanation to why DH rejects FJ so much.
@12blbl yeap, up to this point it seems they will give us a sad ending, so I just ditch it and read PB again lol.
*Not really relevant I am so impressed with Dilraba in this series that I am eager to see her in Liehuo Ruge with Vic Chou. Anyone read that novel? Is it a good one?*
Vengao is also in this drama! He might be one of the guys that like her. I hope he's Xue - supposedly a really cool & protective guy.

I guess they only want the audience to only focus on BQ & YH. But that's so unnecessary. Twould couples doesn't have to compete with each other. They each have their own story.

I'm just surprised they never gave DH & FJ a kissing scenes when the situation calls for it. How many times has mortal DH & FJ are intimate but yet the screen always blurred out. Doesn't make sense to me.

If FJ decided to leave DH in the end, I would like to say serves him right. But he looks so miserable ever since he came back from his mortal life, I feel bad for him.

Let's re-count all the nice things DH does for FJ.
1. HE punished SJ for hurting FJ in fox form
2. He personally saved FJ couple of times when he could have just let the physician do it
3. He made the bratty princess cried for hurting FJ in fox form
4. He actually carried FJ to her room when he has never done so with another woman
5. He snapped at Siming when Siming was holding FJ in fox form
6. He deliberately went thru mortal trial to fullfill FJ's wish of being with him because he knows they have no fate as an immortal
7. The mortal DH was very good to FJ.

..well...mostly.. I still watch the sad ending too depend on the actors and the actresses. I wouldn't count on that ending for DH & FJ. I believe that's the ending from PB.

I just finished re-watching the previous episodes, when DH was dying he kept imagining FJ. I guess that's why he told Siming that he finally understood why it would be better for MY to be by his favourable discipline. Isn't it sad that at the end of his mortal life they were (FJ and DH) not together?
See I don't feel too bad for YH. Atleast he has lots of happiness moments with BQ. Whereas, DH & FJ has like maybe 5 min of happiness and the rest are angst. I don't even know how sad their ending is going to be. I want the PB ending but obviously that's not going to happen.

I always cringe whenever Ye Hua with loose hair is on screen, but seeing the preview, when YH already lose his hand and carry BQ to the bed, I think there his hair is actually looks better somehow, but unfortunately it's only looks better on that particular scene only. On the ending scene I think it's back to the it's old cringe one @gingertj831 you mean FJ-DH ending in the drama will be FJ married Qing Ti? Oh no
But are they going to let QT die and FJ be a widow like in the book? In the book, after his sacrifice for her, she remained a widow for three hundred years to pay tribute to his memory. QT is such a great guy though. The story would have carry on had they bought the PB. I wonder if they company lend their actors out to other productions?

There is just way too much angst for DH & FJ. I wish there were some solid spoilers about their ending. I want FJ to be the one to end their non-existing relationship. DH drama deserves that.

Even though @faythe said V-love wasn't that good of a story, I'm going to start it soon cause this drama ain't doing it for me on that front. Like what was up with that "Robin Hood" scene? It came out of nowhere lol. I mean I don't want to complain cause FJ in a hood was adorable and it is screen time but it was so random.
Somebody mentioned this a few pages back that fans were saying Zhao Liying would've been a better BQ? I think I could see that. She's got a baby face but in Flower, when she transformed at the end into a "demon" she had a commanding presence. But it would be a huge challenge to buy her BQ as older than YH. I don't know. I don't think Yang Mi hits all the notes of BQ. She's pretty one-note in her performance and BQ should be more complex. It doesn't help that Mark outclasses her on every level acting wise.
Vlove is not great but I love their chemistry. I did not like how they changed DH & FJ story line but I absolutely love their chemistry. Yang Mi agency has no idea what they are missing by not buying the PB. DH is such a hoot to read. Sure he's more black bellied than romantic but he has his moments. He's not submissive to fate like the drama version.
Anyway I think that assassin scenes were supposed to be random because the fate scroll were changed somehow & no one can figure out how or why.
I am praying that the casts rumourning for the PB is just that, a rumour. With that casts, I rather they don't make that drama & ruin the story. I really want to see Vengao & Dilraba as the OTP. They have such awesome chemistry. I wonder why they let DH & FJ have a kiss scene? Like not even one. I've seen their kiss scenes in VLove & they can definitely kiss.
I'm usually not a fan of Yang Mi but I think she's doing a decent job here. Her chemistry with Mark is also good. Not off the chart but nice.

I definitely want to read MY story. I really like the fact that he can tell off YH dad without changing his expression. That was satisfying. I really don't like anyone from YH side of the family except for 3rd uncle.

What I really like about mortal DH is that even though he's in love, but he's not blind. I like that he scolded the eunich for insinuating that his other wife "nun" poisoned FJ out of jealousy. Even though he loves FJ, but he will not blindly accused others.

Btw, did anyone notice that DH's purple robe has become darker in latter episodes? He used to wear lighter robe in purple. Not sure tho, probably just my eyes. Ah and let's celebrate the comeback of a white haired DH!
I also noticed that too. His color is a little more darker than usual - not the same lively vibrant before his mortal trial.
FJ has a really strong sense of maternal instinct in the book. She took DH out and bought him everything that a kid can have just because he didn't get to experience it as a child.
I am happy to see the immortal DH back but I really really missed the mortal DH (Emperor).

Lack of fate makes DH never met hence noticing FJ when FJ became his palace's maid.
His shadow (Chen Ye) almost took FJ away from him for eternity.
He 'abandon' FJ on their wedding day also makes him almost lose FJ again.
He himself whether he realize it or not, is the one who 'push' FJ away from him

Fate was his strongest competitor. As for him abandoning FJ on their wedding day, that's not his fault though. He was just planning to go there and rescue that crazy bat chick SJ version 2. Who knew she tried to kill herself so that he can't marry FJ. To repay her father, he spent a great deal of his energy saving her in order to get rid of her forever, making him unable to come to the wedding. That part was extremely hard to read because it was such a tragic fate. They were so close. But the biggest mistake DH ever did was in tampering with FJ's memories. Had he not tampered with her memories, she would have remembered all their good time together in the other realm. She might have waited for him.
But wasn't it fun in reading how DH thought XY was his competition? I thought it was extremely funny how he turned XY the great warrior into a carrot though just for hugging FJ when she was in her fox form.

Unfortunately, there is no competition for DH in the drama. Well, there wasn't one in the book either but it wasn't needed since DH pretty much thinks any man came in contact with FJ is his competitor. That's how strong his sense of jealousy was in the book. He's actually alot more petty than YH. YH was heartbroken over "MY" but DH spent days trying to annihilate his competitor without anyone noticing. He wasn't very successful though.

But FJ will marry DH and he's the King though.

At this point, I don't even think that FJ needs to persist anymore. I'm hoping in vain in regards to the drama, but I hope FJ is the one to reject DH in the end.
It is really surprising that DH came back early. I wonder if it will be explained later on?

Did I mentioned how much I love the mortal scenes of DH & FJ durine their escape? It was so well done of both actors. Vengo did an extremely good job with those scenes. Maybe because he's tall, but he makes an awesome king. He was majestic, cruel & gentle all at once. They are not giving Vengo enough chance to be the lead. I love him.
I can feel how much the emperor loved FJ. That makes me feel even more sad for FJ since she is not going to receive the same kind of affection from DH. But atleast she's the only girl who moves DH.
