Remember in the book DH didn't choose to be part of Demon clans because he didn't like Demon women to be flirty and stuff. But once he is in love, he is all over FJ lol. Most of the time he was the one to kiss FJ first. Hmm it makes me mad again, they didn't have a proper kiss scene in the drama. Lame
For me, I would watch it if they were the OTP even if the storyline is crappy like VLOVE. But it's sad to watch if they weren't even together. I've seen alot of their dramas, but honestly, so far they have the best chemistry with each other.
I'm still hoping that drama god will let them be THE OTP one day. I want a happy ending for my fav couple. Maybe then will they finally have a decent kiss scenes. Had the production bought PB, they would be. But what a shame. Now we probably have to wait forever.
To be fair to demon females, DH was not interested in women whether they are deities or demons. In the PB he was only nice to two other women because he owed their families loyalty, but other than that, he doesn't even look at them. Even in the drama, the only female he actually interact with is FJ. He barely looked at that princess. He didn't even want to answer one question from her, whereas with FJ, he patiently answer all her questions & hugging. He even smile at her playfulness & mischievous act of switching his Bell with her flute. DH treats FJ extremely well. He jus let her do whatever & if she gets scold by others, he will stand up for her. I he didn't give in to fate, he would be perfect.
I love how Vengo gave intensity to DH character. Vengo & Dilraba actually has quite alot of photoshoot together.

DH pampered FJ like no tomorrow! That's why him rejecting FJ is just not convincing.

While re-read the PB I discovered another reasons why DH ruled the universe. So apparently DH has the destructive magic to destroy heaven & earth. Perhaps that was the reason why he was able to suppressed all the demon clans. According to Liangson, if DH died all those suppressed clans would arise.

Unfortunately no. I will skip. It's too sad. It's like watching DH&FJ another lifetime & still a sad ending. It's even sadder that they will not even pairing with each other in the same movie.
I wonder when will they have a happy ending again in a drama?

Now that im re-reading PB for gaz.times, just noticed FJ was married alot! Mortal DH, Qingti & xize from Arayna dream. Well actually she married DH twice. Once in the mortal realm & once in the Aranya dream when he took over XIZE identity.

Episode 15 I guess or 14 when Shiming, Liansong and Chengyu walk together......(when I read eng sub my jaw drop. So ...there is the reason why he not fired Fengjiu from her job as maid. Fengjiu cut his tree, eat his fruit, fooling around here and there but never get punished by Donghua Dijun).

Is FJ not allowed to cut the branches? I'm sure SM would say something if that was the case. As for the fruits, CY gave that to her so it's not really FJ's fault. However, it's true, FJ is quite a troublemaker lol. As much as I like to think that DH never punished her because he absolutely adores her as the sole reason, but I'm sure it's also because she's from the royalty clan. It's not like he can punished the young future queen of the Fox clan like he would with any ordinary maid. However, him not firing her is a surprise. I'm surprised DH has that much patience since he is not quite a patience man just look at how he snapped at that annoying princess.
I think just the fact that seeing DH personally carrying FJ is a novel scene for anyone because DH has never bothered with any other women before much less care enough to personally carry her to her quarter. He could have asked other maid to assist her. He was intending to do that but don't know why he changed his mind. But I'm so glad he did because that scene was just so sweet! Did you notice that besides FJ, he has never looked at any women or even talk to them for all 58 eps?!
Well if your personality is like FJ who's super hyper and active and seeks out trouble constantly, having a husband like DH is extremely useful! He can keep and rescue you each time! I actually prefer DH as a husband over YH mainly because YH is a little overly sweet for my taste. DH is sarcastic, but there's adventure with him everyday. Actually I think the person that will get the blood pressure in DH & FJ marriage, it would be DH (drama wise). He constantly have to rescue FJ out of trouble and making sure she doesn't get bullied.

I didn't feel right either. Lol maybe it's too soon for me to watch them with others. But other than my biased towards Vengo. But I really don't feel any sense of King like aura from Zhang bin. His image there is too soft. Maybe it's the photo fault. I will watch it for Dilabra just like i'm going to watch the Yuan Sword for Vengo.

There is this one part in the PB I thought it was kind of funny. When she told DH that she thought he liked JH in the past. He was going to say how is that even possible? He's much older than her until he remembered that FJ is even younger & he shut up. I thought DH is so funny. Actually FJ maternal personality is even funnier. Once her maternal instinct kicks in, it goes overdrive which DH totally took advantage of it. DH is actually lucky. Once he married FJ, he inherited a hordes of families & relatives that he never had before & they are not crazy like BQ's in-laws either.

I ship them so hard ever since VLove & that was a crappy drama. I remembered when I first started watching it & hope that they were the OTP. I was so disappointed when he dated that girl but was so happy when they got together.

But I agree they gave more dimension and heart for the Ghost tribe, even XH with her love to her kid. I hate everyone in YH's family besides 3rd uncle lol

True but the demon & the 15th disciple's & the demon princess love story wasn't part of either book. So in giving her a good ending will not affect any copy rights.
I actually really like her relationship with LJ. They have a really nice sibling relationship & their chemistry is actually quite nice. The demons here are much nicer than the celestial fairies.

FJ is obviously my absolute favorite here. No comment on BQ & the crazies. But I think the one female character that has the best personality is the demon princess. She's so kind. She saved mortal FJ and others without a single motive. And look at how far she was willing to go to save LJ child. If it wasn't for her, the child would have been dead. I feel the most sorry for her. I wished that she had a happy ending. Out of everyone, I feel like she deserved it the most. It was just too bad the writer think that only main should get a happy ending.

Dilabra is so lucky in this drama. She gets carried around alot by Vengo & other guys. Good thing she's small. But I like the way DH carry her the best. It seems like he added an extra care with her when he never even bothered with other people especially women. What i really love about their love story is that i feel they equally sacrifice for each other. Even though DH kept saying no, but he is always protecting her & be there whenever she needed him. What he did for her is no less thar what FJ did for him. I also think that Vengo & Dilraba amazing work completely highlighted all these subtle intimate coupes gestures.
DH actually has lots of momentum items from FJ, like her flute, the bell & her tail. I How I wish they can continue their love story. I'm so glad I have the Pillow Book to continue their story. Atleast I know their story has a good ending & their son BGG is so cute!

Donghua Dijun and Fengjiu's interaction are funny to watch. So I keep watching their episodes.
Also, episode 24, 25. When Fengjiu turn into fox and Donghua took care of her. He is fox lover..lol
Talk about jealousy when he saw Shiming hug "his" beloved fox.
Oh I don't rewatch when Fengjiu become to clingy to Donghua. I don't like it too...out of character from Fengjiu's in the pillow book. the best thing is I can choose which episodes I want to watch.
And rewatch episode 26 when Susu jump from the terrace. I love her voice when she said Goodbye to Yehua.
the actor who play as Bai Zhen also play in Go Princess Go? And...Xuan Yuan Sword 2017....is that Bai Zhen with white hair??
There is also Vengo....it look like he become villain in Xuan Yuan Sword 2017. And the actress who play as 3rd Princess of Ghost Clan Yan Zhi. She also in Xuan Yuan Swors 2017?

Good for Lijing become Male Lead in King's Woman. He's good.

I'm trying to collect all DH, FJ, SM scenes & considered it their prologue movie version before PB story. I want to rewatch everything even the sad scenes because i like seeing DH's expressions. He looked like it was hurting him just as much as it was hurting FJ. I think if he was able to change it, he definitely would. I think in the end, he did went into a deep sleep for many years to heal himself just like the spoilers said but just too bad it wasn't mentioned. In the PB, he went to sleep for many years to recuperate & that was when his & FJ shadows were created. I don't want to see the new adaptation because I already have a set DH&FJ in mind.

Oh I finally got to Episode 37. Re: Feng Jiu and Dong Hua. I'm going to be very explicit about my views regarding their love story so read at your own risk. Don't say I haven't warned you.
I am still perplexed (even more so now that I understand what they're saying) and to some extent astounded by their popularity.
Vengao despite being so handsome was a block of wood and FJ unfortunately came across a little too desperate. In fact, she almost had the second lead syndrome…
Their un-fated love was under-developed, it was a carousel of frustration (it went on a bit too long for my liking), too much unrequited love (where’s your self respect, FJ!) and in my opinion *gasp* not particularly very interesting. I didn’t mind so much their interactions at the Celestial Kingdom but during the mortal realm, every time I watched their scenes together all I wanted to do was vomit blood. Oh and please don’t get me started on DH’s goatee *shudder*. He looked so lecherous and salty that I had to press fast forward, especially their wedding night *another shudder*.
I know someone is going to cast stones at me but no amount of alcohol could induce me to watch those scenes. Sorry but I had to get that off my chest. I must be dense as fog because I didn't get it when fans were saying how they fast forwarded only to Feng Jiu and Dong Hua's scenes. Well that's a very short drama.
In fact I was more interested in Cheng Yu and Lian Song love line, I won't say anymore. I'm sure you got the picture.
It's fair. Not everyone liked every couple. For me, i'm completely indifferent to YH&BQ a couple. I think mostly because i don't get BQ. They changed DH & FJ characteristics quite alot. But I can still appreciate their characters in the drama mainly due to Vengo & Dilraba. For me, DH is a tsundered character in the drama. He may say cold words but his actions are so warm. From the beginning right to the end, he has always put FJ as first priority. He did so many nice things for her & FJ can feel it. That's why she fought so hard for him. FJ is someone that fights very hard for her loved ones & not just for DH either.

BQ as a mother is something I never quite understand about her. Whether before knew about him or after she knew about him, her attitude towards him never changed. She treated him like he's her stepson. I guess not everyone has a maternal instinct. But she is more like a mother to little dough in PB.
Too bad they didn't purchase PB because there are so many cute interactions between FJ, Ah Li, LS & DH. All fun scenes.

A dance compilation clip of 迪丽热巴 or Dilraba Dilmurat. She is of the Uyghur group in Xinjiang, China. Debut in this 2013 Xinjiang-produced drama called 阿娜尔罕 (don't know english title)...where there's alot of dancing. The middle part is quite long, from that drama.
This is really too bad that Dilabra is not going to be FJ for the PB because there is actually a dance scene where FJ dance for DH & it totally blew him away.

I hope Vengo will get more chance to be a lead after his awesome performance in this drama.
I am actually quite anticipating the movie version. I like both Yang yang & crystal so I want to see how they portrayed these roles. I won't have any expectations because 1 or 2 hours are not good enough to flesh out the whole book.

Now I hope there is a translation for this. Lol I want to read everything that has to do with DH & FJ. I think by this timeline, FJ should be older than 30,000 yrs right? Basically in the fairy world, the oldest God married the youngest fox fairy. DH needs someone like FJ to get past his icy/indifferent facade.
I think MY is the same. He needs someone to shake him. And only someone with an inredouble thick skin can get past it.

Despite his indecisiveness in love in this version, but I love DH personality from both version. Vengo was like the perfect DH. He's EXTREMELY smart & he's like FJ in the aspect that he never gives up until he finds out the truth. But only just to satisfy his curiosity lol. You give him one clue & he was able to guess the rest. I believe in Liangson word "the reason why he was the leader of 17 general''. He not only has sword skills but also brain. He's also very patient. Look at how much a troublemaker FJ was, but he never gets angry with her. He even tolerated YH cousin in & out of his place. Sure he doesn't talk to her but atleast he didn't kick her out - only made her cry a little. I would definitely say he's a protective & devoted lover. True to his words, whenever FJ is with him, nothing will happen to her. He will save her at all costs. I especially love that he always put her interest before everything & everyone else. He's the tsundered type. Say one thing but meant another. His little smile which only gave to FJ, so handsome.

I read pillow book when Ah Li complained why Zhe Yan can not take Fengjiu from Donghua. Zhe Yan told Ah li, Nothing he can do unless Donghua kidnapped Bai Zhen then he will fight for him....awwwww....so Zhe Yan lost his argument with Donghua and let Donghua keep the real handkerchief from Fengjiu transformation. So that I make conclusion that Bai Zhen and Zhe yan have special relationship, not just bff best friend forever. From Fengjiu's view, Zhe Yan quite jealous and obsessive over Bai Zhen.
Even the snake who took Bai Qian's fiancee was in love with Bai Zhen first ...lol... Bai Qian's 4th brother must be extreme handsome. (In the drama...remember when Bai Qian help.a.Lady and brought her home).
I watch episode 24 and 25 again. Hooray! There were english sub. now. Sujin told her maid that sje was scared Donghua look angry. Over a fox.
Episode 25. Shiming hd the fox and Donghua was narrowing his eyes, looking at Shiming that still holding his precious fox lol.....Donghua jealous......
I watch episode 9 again...the first time Fengjiu met Donghua.. .what was with that look, when Fengjiu told him that she know Zhe Yan...
Oh...wait Zhe Yan, Mo Yuan and Shao Wan were Donghua classmate right? Specially Zhe Yan who sit next beside him lol.... of course his best buddy was Shao wan.

WOW....I like Yehua now..more and more. He was taking care Susu with gently. There is eng sub now. Yehua promised Susu a marriage. Why Susu can't trust him?
The drama is ended. But I still coming back to youtube to watch it again and again.

There is no way anyone can win words with DH because he is not reasonable when doesn't want to lol. I guess that's the privilege of being maybe the oldest & king of the universe.
Actually DH is very possessive by nature. His jealousy is much stronger than most people. I believe that little scene gave SM a little clue into DH feelings for FJ.
I love those those DH&FJ scenes. SJ was actually smart that time by punishing herself to kNeel for one hour. If it was dragged on much longer, her punishment would have been much worse, & even YH grandpa can't help her. Remember how DH shut him up with one look & word with the trial?

I think the situation of DH was described in the PB. They talked about how when he was born, the world was very chaotic and there was no "one" ruler of the 4 oceans/8 realms. I don't know why MY's father wasn't the king. I think he was just the universe creator...but he doesn't rule. To fully understand this, we probably have to look at Taoist teaching...
Any way, after DH was born, he was the one who fought many wars to bring peace to the universe. He was the one all realms and different clans (Demons, ghosts, Mortal, Dragons, and Foxes) accepted as King.

YH's cousin...the one who is also in love with DH, who are her parents? She called YH's her older cousin, but if you think about it, it doesn't make sense. YH's second uncle has children, but they didn't live in heaven and they aren't loved. Of course, Lian Song has NOO children of his own. SoooOOo, where (who) did she come from?

I'm rewatching DH & FJ scenes. DH has indulged FJ since the beginning.
I agree DH looks better with silver/white hair, but I still find his mortal self handsome.
