I don't really care about the war thing going on. I was just watching for DH and FJ scenes. FJ got hit twice pretty hard. How did she recover so fast?
I like what FJ said to DH. If she thinks he has a chance to defeat that demon king, at most, she can die with him. But since only has like 1/10 of his power, it will just be a useless death. There are so many precious moments between DH & FJ in the last 2 eps. DH always catch FJ in such a gorgeous way and he called her pet name! I love that despite a life & death war going on, but to DH, FJ comes first. How precious was it when he was holding FJ in his arms and said that as long as he's there, nothing can happen to her? And when he came with YH's parents looking for BQ, they were only looking at each other. DH & FJ chemistry is just so amazing. DH is such a gorgeous silver hair idiot! It sucks that they have no ending, but I will just console myself by re-watching their scenes knowing that DH does indeed love FJ. His actions speak louder than words and in DH's case, it speaks 1000 more than his words.
I'm pretty sure that the production that bought out PB will not be scheduled to film anytime too soon. Most likely, they will have to wait until the whole Dilabra and Vengo DH&FJ fan slowly died down first. Because any actors play the role of DH & FJ will be compared and will most likely not be very welcomed at the moment. Hopefully by then, they will consider someone worthy of DH & FJ characters.

Thank God DH was there as a judge. If he wasn't, imagine the things that SJ was able to get away with.
Sometimes I don't understand DH. When FJ directly ask him if he would like her if he can, why didn't he just say no? That is the most direct and affective way to make FJ give up.

Many of you guys comment on DH will sleep for 10,000 years and that will be a long time for FJ. I don't think so. BQ waited for her shifu for 70,000 years. The are dieties and immortals. I don' think 10,000 years is a long time for them. Im sure FJ will be willing to wait.
True, 10,000 is not a long time, but I don't think DH wants her to wait for him though especially since he knows that they are note "fated". I use that word loosely. I believe you can fight fate. Both DH and FJ did in PB and won. Anyway, is that part of the spoiler true? Watching the preview, it didn't seem like it. Even though DH still hasn't recovered his full energy but it didn't look like he was going into a deep sleep anytime too soon. I still don't get why he would gift her that map. It's useless for her.

And no they do NOT have more screentime than everyone else besides the leads. There are cuts of various individuals/couples available that fans made and through 54 episodes, DH/FJ have a total of about 100mins give or take. That's 100 minutes in 54 episodes! That comes to about 4% by the way. 4% of total screentime available if you take 54 episodes multiplied by 45mins. Their entire story fits in 2 episodes. So yeah they do not come in 2nd behind the leads. They come in like 4th or 5th. Which is fine if it was actually a good story. But to add insult to injury, they get crappy airtime and a crappy story.
Let's put it in perspective here. Would Peach fans like it if in the Pillow Book adaptation had YH/BQ divorced in it? Or maybe YH was in a coma through the story. After all it would be the Pillow Book drama and not Peach right? So you don't have to stay true to Peach anymore or stay true to YH/BQ story and at least you get to see BQ and YH's sleeping body.
I agree about the limited amount of DH & FJ scenes. The only reason why they seem like they have lots of screen time is because the actors themselves have such a strong screen presence and chemistry that made them unforgettable. It was definitely not due to the kindness of the writers.
I don't get why DH would gift FJ with the map? What would she do with it? It would make more sense for him to gift it to YH as a wedding gift or to MY as he's a war god.

I believe the PB described DH has the ultimate power, I don't know if that was referring to everything overall or just in skills. He was the leader of 17 generals and each of those general skills and strength are stronger than anyone currently, with the exception of DH and MY. As for ZY, his power is more or less in healing. He's not as strong as MY and DH.
As for rank, according to the PB, DH still sits above everybody. Even FJ's grandfather still have to sit below him. It was described in a very funny way by FJ:
FJ whispered to herself, "Grandpa, I've found a husband. He's the one sitting above you today, Donghua Dijun. I heard that he was a former classmate of yours and you've also fought under his command!"
That was one of my favorite parts. FJ is so cute! I can totally see Dilabra deliver that line perfectly.

Does anyone know what was said by SM and FJ at her Coronation? I can't believe DH didn't even secretly go to her Coronation. Sure, he peeked with the fairy mirror but that's not the same. Is it not even an open ending? DH, you idiot!
Dilabra & Vengo has such amazing chemistry and it's sad that we might never get a chance to see them as otp again or atleast not for a very very long time.
I'm re-reading PB and watching their scenes from Vlove and three lives together. I hope there's a drama god out there that saw there chemistry and cast them as otp again.

Rewatching the trial & DH is so cool! Barged in, made the executive decision & didn't give anyone a chance to object just so FJ can get justice for her aunt. I've never had the impression that DH actually cared enough about BQ to go through all that troubles for her. Now if he was only like that in regards to fate, he would be much happier. So tomorrow looks like ep 56 will be their last scenes.

I think the beginning scene of ep 53 are one of my top DH & FJ scenes. So much feelings involved. FJ was so cute and DH was just so heartbreakingly gorgeous. Maybe because Dilabra is so tiny, so whenever Vengo holds Dilabra, it looked so loving. Like FJ is so protected in his arms, which is true, because he would never allow anyone to harm her.

I think he just accepts fate and that's the end of them for this drama. The weird thing about the name carved next to FJ is in PB, that is technically DH's job no? He retired but he still chose to do that one part of the job so that he won't get bored. You know the part where FJ comes to collect her hairpin, bracelet etc. He was presiding over some ceremony to bestow titles for the immortals no? I swear, the script writer hates Pillow Book or something.
The Sujin trial is like the only part where drama DH pulls a book DH shameless move and is in character. He tells the TJ people they're biased so he's going to take over and dares anyone to say differently, knowing full well everyone knows about his relationship with FJ already!
Yeah I love Siming/FJ too but Siming in general. I wished we got more of Siming/Cheng Yu/Liansong. They're hilarious together.
I know the writer hates PB. They never even gave DH & FJ a chance. But I also think that the production probably never thought that the DH & FJ pairing would really hit if off. If it wasn't for Dilabra and Vengo pairing, many people would be extremely pissed that they ruined the DH & FJ storyline.
That trial was extremely satisfying. He said it in a roundabout way that the YH's father is not fit to judge. I hate them all. They are all hypocrite and snobby fairies. If it wasn't for DJ there, they couldn't less about fairness. Made the decision to be the judge and jury and dared anyone to say otherwise. He said it with a straight face that he's the only unbiased one with a straight face when everyone in the room knows otherwise. Seriously, if it wasn't related to FJ, he wouldn't bothered. He would just let them solve it amongst themselves.

Yep, DH never miss any big events that has to do with FJ. Even if he doesn't appear in front of her, he would probably be hiding somewhere.
I like FJ's straightforwardness. Like she told BQ, if she is not sure about how YH feels, she should ask him directly.

I love the friendship between FJ & SM. They are like gossipers whenever they are together. I also especially like how he always tossed DH name around to help FJ.

DH & FJ are so cute! DH never fails to come to FJ side whenever she has a problem. Lol but he's a total liar when he said he's not biased to either side. DH was so cool in shutting up YH grandpa. Even though YH grandpa knows that DH is not completely unbiased but one stare from DH & knows he has to back down. This is why I love DH so much. He's so badass when the situation calls for it.
For me, MY is probably has the most selfless love. He loves BQ no less than YH (drama wise) but for her happiness, he let go without her knowing for her own happiness. He backed out in such a graceful way that no one needs to feel awkward.

That beginning scene of DH & FJ is so precious. So much feelings between DH & FJ. Maybe it's because of Vengo acting, but I feel just as sad for him as I do for FJ. I also find it funny that all these powerful men couldn't escape from the Bai family. It's a little unfair to other fairies because all the good ones are grabbed by the foxes lol.

I think MY needs someone like FJ who is very frank & honest with her feelings & also someone who is not afraid to make the first move. Imagine if after DH wake up from his sleep to find FJ affections & love shift to MY. I would love to see his reaction then.

Why did it got cut off?! That is so unfair to DH & FJ. First, they didn't get any kiss scenes and now these heart touching part were also got cutt off. Why does the writer hate DH & FJ so much? If that was the case, they should have just not add DH & FJ to the drama and it wouldn't make a difference to the story. They weren't heavily mentioned in the book anyway, so even if they were left out, no one would say anything.
After seeing those cut scenes, my breaks for DH just as much as for FJ. For a man that has been indifferent to others in general (except for the greater good) to actually shed a tear, his feelings are probably no less than FJ, just expressed it differently.

If DH did fall asleep at the end of the drama then it should be a Opening Ending to start a PB drama becuz...
In PB While DH was asleep one of the God did used half of DH shadow to create another person of him or so in Fanyin Valley then the underworld lord(?) meet FJ and was expressing his frustration on DH shadow and FJ suggest to used half of her shadow to be his soulmate since in this life FJ and DH aren't fated to be together .. might as well let their shadow be together instead.... it was something like that but anyone could correct me if I'm wrong I haven't read PB for so long now ^^
Actually FJ sent her shadow to repay the debt she owed DH for saving her. Everything she did for him, she didn't count that as payments because to her those were her actions out of her desire for his love, not a true payment. This time, she sent her shadow as payment and not because of love. Her love for him at this point in time has actually been buried VERY VERY deep. But it is true that their shadows were supposed to have a good ending. Unfortunately Su Moye (Liangson's friend) intervened and it became a tragedy instead. But the shining light is that their unfinished fate was passed on to DH & FJ instead because there is no after life for shadows. That was the reason why DH & FJ were finally able to officially meet each other at YH & BQ's wedding.

If the rumor ending is true, then after he used up all his fairy energy to save FJ, he will have to be in a deep sleep for 10,000 years. Then I completely understand why he wouldn't want FJ to wait for him. 10,000 years is a long time to wait for someone. Whenever there's DH in the room, FJ will never be mistreated or bullied. He will never allowed that to happen. Even YH's grandpa has to back off.

Is it just me or both YH and MY looked really awkward with each other.
If it's true that DH will be in a deep sleep for 10,000 years, then I feel especially sad for DH & FJ. And this might be the last time I get to see Dilabra and Vengo pairing, that's even more sad for me.

I think we all anticipated that DH & FJ will not get their just ending. So here's a funny part from the novel of DH & FJ to somewhat cheer DH&FJ shippers:
FJ: But there are many heroes I know, my uncle-in-law for example, no matter how grave his injuries are, he always tries his best to hide them from my aunt. My father, too, never lets Mother know of his injuries. Even the flamboyant Zheyan quietly hides from little uncle whenever he gets hurt. But your action is something I've never quite encountered.
DH: Ah, that's because compared to them, I'm a weak hero.
FJ: speecless
Isn't DH novel a hoot? People wasn't completely wrong when they called him Dr. Evil. The amount of time he's obsessed with bullying FJ...

I don't think his feelings run quite deep enough yet to the point of crying like YH. So the ending is that DJ will be in a deep sleep? I have no words on that. But one thing I do really like about DH drama is that it doesn't matter under what circumstances, he will always be protective of FJ first and foremost.
I have to say Vengo looks really really good with white/silver hair. Now I can't imagine him with black hair.

Unfortunately, I don't think he's in Blazing Ruge anymore. The info on the site has not been updated I don't think. Although, I will considered it a gift from God if I'm wrong. If by miracle, and he is in it, I hope that drama God will let him be Xue. That character will suit him very very well.
